As a Senior Information Security Engineer, your focus will be both strategic and hands-on:

Security Compliance Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end process of StateRAMP readiness, gap remediation, and authorization.

• Provide guidance and oversight for FedRAMP Moderate and TX-RAMP certification efforts.

• Manage communication with third-party assessment organizations (3PAOs) and security consultants.

• Maintain the System Security Plan (SSP), POA&M, and related documentation.

Architecture & Technical Oversight

• Design and maintain secure cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS), aligned with NIST 800-53 controls.

• Implement technical safeguards for identity & access management, vulnerability management, and incident response.

• Support DevOps teams in security automation and secure CI/CD pipelines.

• Conduct risk assessments and penetration test planning and review.

Team Enablement & Policy

• Collaborate with executive leadership on security strategy.

• Develop training materials to raise internal security awareness.

• Ensure alignment between security policies and engineering practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Located in the Philippines with night shift work hours (to overlap with U.S. team).

• Proven experience leading or significantly contributing to StateRAMP, FedRAMP, and TX-RAMP compliance efforts.

• Expertise in NIST 800-53, FIPS 199/200, and continuous monitoring frameworks.

• Hands-on experience with AWS security services (IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, Security Hub, etc.).

• Strong understanding of SOC2, GovRAMP, DevSecOps practices, and cloud infrastructure.

• Exceptional written and spoken English skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty) are a strong plus.

• Bonus: Experience with audit response, SIEM tools, or zero trust architecture.

Role: Senior Network Engineer

Position Type: Permanent
Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore (Work from office)

PRIMARY DUTIES include but not limited to: 

Implementation Triage & Technical Escalation

• Serve as the lead escalation point for complex deployment issues during the Cisco‑to‑Fortinet/Juniper migration.
• Troubleshoot advanced problems involving Fortinet firewalls, Juniper switches, Juniper access points, and legacy Cisco devices during cutovers.
• Support field technicians and implementation teams with real‑time guidance, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Change Control & Governance (ServiceNow)

• Own the full lifecycle of network‑related change controls within ServiceNow.
• Create and review change requests with a focus on accuracy, risk mitigation, and compliance.
• Maintain high standards of operational discipline and audit readiness.

Network Engineering & Migration Execution

• Lead configuration, deployment, and optimization of:
• Fortinet firewalls (policies, VPNs, SD‑WAN, HA, segmentation).
• Juniper switches (EX/QFX series, VLANs, routing, security policies).
• Juniper access points and wireless controllers.
• Oversee migration activities including device staging, configuration validation, cutover support, and post‑deployment tuning.
• Ensure consistent application of templates, standards, and best practices across all branch refresh activities.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain detailed documentation of network designs, migration procedures, and configuration standards.
• Identify recurring issues and drive long‑term improvements to deployment processes and network architecture.
• Contribute to playbooks, runbooks, and knowledge‑sharing materials for engineering and field teams

COMPETENCIES:

• Industry certifications such as Fortinet NSE, Juniper JNCIS/JNCIP, or equivalent.
• Experience with large‑scale network refresh or transformation programs.
• Familiarity with automation tools (Python, Ansible) for configuration and operational tasks.
• Knowledge of SD‑WAN, Zero Trust, or cloud‑integrated network architectures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to lead under pressure and make sound technical decisions.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on mentoring and team development.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:     

• Extensive hands‑on experience with Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).
• Strong expertise with Juniper switches and Juniper wireless solutions.
• Solid understanding of Cisco networking to support migration and troubleshooting during the transition.
• Proven experience managing change controls in ServiceNow.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across routing, switching, wireless, and security domains.
• Ability to lead technical triage in fast‑paced, multi‑site deployment environments.
