POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior AV Solutions Engineer is a senior member of the Global Technology Services (GTS) team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Collaboration in NY. This role provides technical leadership, strategic oversight, and mentorship to engineers, ensuring delivery of enterprise‑class AV solutions across the global footprint.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Lead project launch, coordination, and successful completion of large‑scale AV initiatives.
- Define and enforce global AV standards, ensuring consistency across regions.
- Develop project schedules, manage risks, and communicate goals to executive stakeholders.
- Coordinate with global teams to ensure delivery, budget adherence, and installation quality.
- Oversee firmware upgrades, coding, and compliance with industry standards.
- Direct partners, technicians, programmers, and engineers for deployment activities.
- Provide leadership in project handover, backlog management, reporting, and resolution of programming issues.
- Collaborate with construction teams, vendors, and consultants to deliver enterprise AV designs.
- Produce and maintain documentation including change requests, expenditure approvals, timelines, milestones, and handover packages.
- Lead troubleshooting of escalations, software issues, and complex technical challenges.
- Manage tasks, budgets, personnel, and partner relationships to achieve project objectives.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of AV practices.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- 7+ years’ experience in AV system design, room integration, and project/program management.
- Deep expertise in AV system functionality, integration, programming, and advanced techniques.
- Proficiency with Office365, project management platforms, CAD, and enterprise collaboration tools.
- Extensive knowledge of video networks, video over IP, switching, DSPs, audio distribution, and control processors.
- Proven ability to lead large, complex projects with global scope.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, agile under pressure, with exceptional organizational and leadership abilities.
- Ability to interpret and apply technical documents including engineering and architectural designs, timelines, acoustical reports, and construction documents.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and provide executive‑level reporting.
- Experience mentoring and developing engineering talent.

ITMS Patching Specialist – Remote (India) | Permanent Role

Position SUMMARY: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Level 2 IT Technician to support patching and maintenance within an IT Service Management (ITSM) environment. This role is responsible for ensuring systems remain up-to-date, secure, and operational by applying patches, conducting regular maintenance, and troubleshooting IT infrastructure issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy operating system (OS) and application patches following IT security and compliance guidelines.
- Ensure timely updates of Windows, macOS, Linux, and third-party software across all endpoints.
- Monitor and troubleshoot patch failures, escalating issues as needed.
- Work with IT Security teams to mitigate vulnerabilities identified in patch management reports.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO 27001) by following patching best practices.
- Perform preventive maintenance on IT systems, including servers, workstations, and network devices.
- Monitor system health dashboards to proactively address potential issues.
- Document maintenance schedules, patch deployments, and resolutions in the ITSM system.
- Respond to IT service requests and incidents related to patching and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot performance, compatibility, and security issues arising from patch deployments.
- Ensure proper rollback procedures are in place for failed updates.
COMPETENCIES:
- Hands-on experience with enterprise patch management solutions for Windows, Virtual Servers, and desktops.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and vulnerability management.
- Outstanding capabilities to troubleshoot and correct Server, PC, Desktop, VM, Client/Server issues.
- Strong broad-based knowledge of VM, hardware, Operating systems, patching, backup, security protocols, basic understanding of Network protocols, and Remote Management tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all customer contacts.
- Ability to provide clear written communication for ticket/project updates.
- Clear written communication to maintain organization and control over all information related to customer tickets and assignments.
- Excellent verbal skills for customer interaction.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Dedicated to always providing exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in all aspects of the core technical requirements.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 3+ years’ experience as a Systems Engineer.
- Ability to troubleshoot, Analyze, and configure VMware, O365, backups, desktops, Window, client/server in a variety of Operating Systems.
- Proven track record and experience with Microsoft, Mac, and Virtual services.
- Participate in planning and execution of new and existing equipment hardware and firmware upgrades, including patching.
- Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and internet standards.
- Strong background with ticketing systems and tracking work.
- 2+ years in a customer facing role, MSP preferred.
- 2+ years working with SaaS products.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/Skills:
- Microsoft Certifications preferred.
- Bonus points for Connectwise, Automate or N-Able experience.
- Virtualization technology certified a plus. (Azure, VM Ware and AWS)
Experience with MSP tools like ITGlue are a bonus.

This role is responsible for deploying firmware updates, ensuring network devices are patched, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and maintaining network infrastructure to meet security and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy firmware updates and security patches to routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Ensure all networking devices remain up to date with vendor-recommended patches.
- Monitor patching schedules and document successful and failed updates.
- Troubleshoot patch deployment issues and escalate unresolved problems.
- Work with vendors to address patch-related bugs, vulnerabilities, and performance issues.
- Ensure that patched networking devices comply with security best practices.

- Participate in planning and execution of new and existing equipment hardware and firmware upgrades.
- Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and internet standards, including routers, switches (layer 2/3), firewalls, remote access, MFA, DNS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, and QoS.
- Strong background with Cisco (ASA and Meraki), Fortinet, and Sonic Wall.
- Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Fundamental knowledge of Network relationships to cyber security principles and practices.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/Skills:
- Cisco CCNA Preferred.
- Experience with multiple network technology stacks. (Solar Winds and Auvik)
- Knowledge and experience in network virtualization technologies. (Azure and AWS)
- Experience in MSP’s with tools such as Connectwise or ITGlue is a bonus.
- Knowledge of VOIP systems is a bonus.
