Senior Consulting Manager – GDC (Global Delivery Center)

The GDC Senior Consulting Manager reports to the Director of Consulting Operations of the Global Delivery Center organization. The role plays a critical part in providing support to the GDC team members to ensure engagement success and people management.  This person will collaborate with GDC Leadership, GDC Operations and Resource Management to provide optimized project staffing.  This role plays a key role in maintaining proper GDC delivery team utilization and maximizing revenues.

Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with GDC Consulting Operations to identify and assign project resources to client engagements.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders that characterize partnership, cooperation and trust.
• Participate in regular ideation and consultation meetings with GDC and onshore counterparts.
• Manage own projects where required.
• Oversee medium to large concurrent client projects while maintaining oversight to identify risk, escalations and issue resolution.
• Manage and resolve escalations between the project, client or other internal organizations in a satisfactory manner.
• Oversee resource planning, and coordination of project activities between client and internal/external resources needed to accomplish strategic business goals.
• Mentor staff in Agile methodologies and best practices in project management to enhance project delivery.
• Provide teams with clear understanding of responsibilities, accountabilities and growth plan by communicating and managing work assignments, training, and performance appraisals.
• Spearhead multiple Internal initiatives yielding impactful results to the growth of the organization and its employees.
• Ensure that bench time for Consultants is used to improve skills in line with Practice technology roadmaps.
• Monitor the alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives.
• Solicit feedback Delivery Owners of engagements where GDC team members are aligned.
• Conduct interviews of prospective GDC candidates.

A 3Cloud Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for performing and/or leading testing activities for assigned clients. This includes standards testing tasks, maintaining traceability, defect management, test plan development and reporting. This senior quality engineer role is technical and client facing role. Operations:

• Manage and resolve data-related incidents through thorough root cause analysis and implementing timely and effective remediation activities

Qualifications

Education:

Minimum BS/BA Degree, preferably in a Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics related discipline

Experience:

• 4+ years of data engineering experience with a proven history of successfully designing, developing, and deploying data warehouse and data integration solutions using Azure and Microsoft Fabric technologies
• 3+ years of experience with Power BI and proficiency with semantic modeling and data packaging concepts
• 2+ years of experience with Agile and Scrum engineering practices and principles

Technical:

• Expert in Microsoft SQL Server database and Azure data engineering (Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Data Lake, Logic Apps, Microsoft Fabric) with strong ETL/ELT and SQL/T-SQL scripting skills
• Proven expertise in Business Intelligence and reporting tools (Microsoft Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Power BI Semantic Models) and related tools (Power Automate, Visual Studio, Tabular Editor, ALM Toolkit)
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning and Python programming skills for buildingML workflows
