How You'll Make an Impact:

About the hospital: Philadelphia Animal Hospital was founded in 1991 as a dream of Dr. Lawrence Rebbecchi Jr. to create a veterinary clinic in the city of Brotherly Love that could incorporate the best animal care, forward thinking solutions, and comprehensive care in the area. The Philadelphia Animal Hospital features 4 exam rooms, a therapeutic pool, and the Philadelphia Pet Hotel and Villas kennel which features daycare and long-term boarding solutions.
Dr. Rebbecchi’s interest in animals started in his youth, and he has passed his passion and expertise onto the next generation of his family. His daughter. Dr. Daria Rebbecchi, graduated from University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School, the same school from which Dr. Larry Rebbecchi graduated. Not only has Dr. Rebbecchi’s practice grown over time, but it continues every year. RES is looking for a Construction Operator I to join our restoration and construction field team!
As an Operator I, you will play a key role in executing high-quality construction tasks on restoration and infrastructure projects. You’ll operate a variety of construction equipment, assist with grading and elevation setting, and contribute to the daily implementation of site plans.
This is a mid-level operator position, ideal for someone with solid construction experience who is ready to take on more autonomy and help support team communication and task execution.

A Day in the Life
You’ll start the day by reviewing the construction plan and loading or mobilizing your assigned equipment. You’ll operate a range of tools and machines—like tractors, skid steers, or brush cutters—while setting grades and installing features according to site plans.
You’ll complete equipment checks, report any maintenance needs, and help ensure site safety protocols are followed. You may also support in training newer crew members in safe practices and help relay instructions from your supervisor to the broader team.
Throughout the day, you’ll monitor your work against project specifications, communicate with team members, and perform physically demanding tasks in various terrain and weather.
In the field, you will be operating equipment, including excavators (10,000 lbs.- 60,000 lbs.), tracked dump trucks, bulldozers, skid loaders, tractors, and ATVs. Experience driving large pick-up trucks and hauling trailers will also be helpful. You will also be operating hand tools such as chainsaws and gas-powered brush cutters & augers.
The ability to travel 4-5 nights a week. Per Diem and hotel stay provided.
