MUST HAVE:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering within fast-paced, cloud-native environments

YOUR ROLE
Lead scalable data engineering efforts that empower cross-functional teams with reliable, timely, and actionable data, ensuring Launch Potato’s analytics and business intelligence infrastructure fuels strategic growth.
OUTCOMES
- Build and optimize scalable, efficient ETL and data lake processes that proactively catch issues before they impact the business
- Own the ingestion, modeling, and transformation of structured and unstructured data to support reporting and analysis across all business units
- Partner closely with BI and Analytics to deliver clean, query-ready datasets that improve user acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth
- Maintain and enhance database monitoring, anomaly detection, and quality assurance workflows
- Serve as the internal point of contact for reporting infrastructure—delivering ad hoc data analyses and driving consistent data integrity
- Drive adoption and advancement of Looker dashboards by ensuring robust and scalable backend data support
- Contribute to the future of Launch Potato’s data team by mentoring peers and shaping a high-performance, quality-first engineering culture

Overview
We're looking to hire for our Data side of our AI team at Speechify. This role is responsible for all aspects of data collection to support our model training operations. We are able to build high-quality datasets at petabyte-scale and low cost through a tight integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research work. We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join us.
What You’ll Do
- Be scrappy to find new sources of audio data and bring it into our ingestion pipeline
- Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for our ingestion pipeline, currently running on GCP and managed with Terraform.
- Collaborate closely with our Scientists to shift the cost/throughput/quality frontier, delivering richer data at bigger scale and lower cost to power our next-generation models.
- Collaborate with others on the AI Team and Speechify Leadership to craft the AI Team’s dataset roadmap to power Speechify’s next-generation consumer and enterprise products.
An Ideal Candidate Should Have
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
- Proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments
- Proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and professional experience with at least one major Cloud Provider (we use GCP)
- Experience with web crawlers, large-scale data processing workflows is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Salary Range: $125,000–$175,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
What You’ll Do
Strategy & Advisory
- Develop and execute data and analytics strategies aligned to client business objectives
- Advise executive stakeholders on analytics platforms, emerging technologies and measurable outcomes
- Design and deliver strategic roadmaps that guide clients through data and analytics platform adoption
- Stay current on industry trends, AI capabilities and emerging technologies, and thoughtfully apply them where they create value
- Deliver billable consulting services, including strategy engagements and hands-on analytics work
Client Development & Account Leadership
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships rooted in trust and value delivery
- Partner with sales and delivery teams to identify growth opportunities
- Help clients understand the business value of analytics investments and define clear next steps
- Own strategic and technical account relationships and act as the strategic point of contact for assigned clients
- Represent InterWorks in key client conversations and strategic planning discussions
What You’ll Need
Must Haves
- 5+ years of experience in technology leadership, strategic consulting, analytics or a related field
- Proven experience building strategic roadmaps and linking business outcomes to data and analytics solutions
- Strong understanding of the modern data and analytics ecosystem, including cloud platforms and analytics tools
- Ability to identify automation and transformation opportunities where AI can drive operational efficiency and competitive advantage
- Experience advising clients on technology adoption, change management and long-term strategy
- Familiarity with technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Sigma, dbt, Microsoft Fabric, Tableau and/or Fivetran
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business narratives
- Track record of building executive relationships and operating effectively with senior client stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, consultative environment
What We’d Like You to Have
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Familiarity with programming fundamentals like Python

Infrastructure Engineer Summary:
Tenstreet is a fast-growing, market-dominating SaaS-based solutions provider to the trucking industry. Tenstreet’s platform is hosted between its own hardware within a colocation facility and multiple cloud providers. Tenstreet’s Infrastructure team handles everything necessary to manage a highly scalable and secure environment, including specifying, purchasing, implementing, administering, securing, and monitoring hardware, software, and third-party services. This position is a hybrid role.
Our infrastructure engineering team has broad expertise in on-prem and cloud architecture, performance, security, system administration, network administration and analysis, database administration, automation, incident response, troubleshooting, access control, and audit.
A perfect fit for this Infrastructure Engineer position isn’t a person who already has deep experience with every specific tool and technology we use in our environment (some of which are mentioned below).
Rather, our perfect fit is a person who has a demonstrated ability to learn, implement, and manage technologies that may be new to the person. Further, this is a person who makes sound decisions and gets stuff done. The Infrastructure Engineer works within an established framework of standards and procedures but operates with tremendous autonomy and responsibility.
As an Infrastructure Engineer you’ll be specifically responsible for:
- On premises and cloud server and service administration, including the designing, building, monitoring, and securing of various Linux virtual servers and containers.
- Managing our NetApp storage tier and other file servers.
- Using tools such as Ansible Automation Platform to automate routine activities (server building and provisioning, administration activities, configuration management, etc.)
- Working with our development and product teams to ensure the infrastructure scales and meets the needs of the business
- Using monitoring and analysis tools such as Datadog and Wazuh IDS to collect and analyze system performance metrics for capacity planning, proactive response, and troubleshooting.
- The application and oversight of information security controls across various operating environments.
- Understanding and assisting in the management of our network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and third-party services such as Cloudflare for WAF/DDOS.
More broadly, as an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Building and supporting resilient and scalable systems that achieve high availability.
- Managing environmental and architectural changes with a mind to maximize the pace of implementation without compromising security or functionality.
- Identifying technological and procedural impediments to Tenstreet, devising solutions to improve the company’s effectiveness.
- Coherently communicating technical topics and concerns to a diverse assortment of internal and external audiences.
- Administration of a variety of applications and services for both internal and external users.
- Balancing the need to "keep things running" with allocating time to system enhancements and new strategic initiatives.
- Mentoring or training other team members and colleagues from other roles.
- Participating in on-call rotations.
- Troubleshooting and resolving production issues (hardware/software/applications).
You might be a good fit as an Infrastructure Engineer if you:
- Have demonstrated the ability to learn new technologies that may or may not be related to what you already know.
- Make sound decisions and work well both autonomously and with a team.
- Have at least 3-5 years’ experience in Linux systems administration, especially coming from a DevOps-oriented background.
- Have experience with an assortment of common applications and protocols, such as Apache, MySQL, NFS, Squid, Redis, Docker, DHCP, SSH, DNS, LDAP, SMTP, etc.
- Have some software development and scripting experience, preferably using common interpreted languages (PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, etc.)
- Have a knack for problem solving, asking the right questions and gathering the right data to take appropriate action.
- Have experience with configuration management and automation tools (Ansible preferred).
- Have a thorough understanding of networking concepts (OSI model, NAT, VLANs, packet filtering, application proxies, etc.)
- Are comfortable working alone when necessary, hunting down answers, thinking critically and solving problems.
- Play well with others and have learned to collaborate, disagree, compromise, and build new things with a team.
- Can juggle multiple projects with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Can communicate well and can walk others through complex processes and problems easily and naturally. This includes both written and verbal communications.
