The Opportunity  

The primary objective of this position is to generate revenue and profits for the company under the direction of the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. The company’s reputation is often contingent upon how the salesperson represents him/herself and the company, therefore it is imperative that all interaction supports the mission and values of EEI. The Sales Team works together on strategy, design, proposal generation, and job costing.  The successful candidate will demonstrate abilities and experience with collaborative team-based customer service and team-based processing of technical information. 

Description of Principle Duties:

Assist in developing improvements and perform duties with a consistent approach in areas such as:

• Develop an annual business plan and strategy for each assigned account.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels at each account.
• Meet or exceed individual objectives as set by Sales Team Leader.
• Be an active participant in the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).
• Work with Sales Team to meet or exceed annual Revenue and Profit goals established by EVP of Sales.
• Become an expert on the equipment/systems that we represent and how to feature them to owners.
• Drive flat specifications, allowances, alternates, and Basis-of-Design’s and influence direct purchases.
• Set up special purchasing agreements as applicable.
• Work with the entire sales team to help each other meet business objectives.
• Maintain customer information and activity in CRM.
• Participate in quarterly conversations with Sales Team Leader to review core values, GWC and discuss any issues.
• Driving revenue by proactively selling service and maintenance contracts to equipment owners, building long-term customer relationships and ensuring ongoing support and satisfaction.
• Travel within territory will be required. 50%-75% of the time spent will be out of the office.
• Other roles and responsibilities as assigned.

Definition of Key Owner Account:

Any account that produces a consistent large opportunity pipeline with multiple projects annually that can generate a total gross margin in excess of $250,000.

To maintain an Owner Account, a salesperson must do the following:

• Must establish EEI manufacturers as acceptable on owner master specifications.
• Must manage and participate in all aspects of projects that involve owner account, including but not limited to:
  • Narrative creation assistance (Owner)
  • Design and equipment selection assistance (Engineering Team)
  • Take-off, scope, and quote preparation assistance (Applications Engineering Team)
  • Price setting and scope review assistance (Contractor Team)
  • Follow-up on quote – if direct to owner (Owner)
  • Submittal generation assistance (Applications Engineering Team)
  • Commission Split agreement based on included matrix.
  • Assisting in coordinating shipment, start-up and owner training (Project Management Team)
  • Account reviews with the EVP of Sales will be done as needed to ensure sales are as projected with each key owner account.

Education, Experience and Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in Technical or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 Years experience as an Account Executive with a focus on Owner Sales.
• Knowledgeable regarding ASHRAE recommendations, HVAC industry, and/or refrigeration.
• Strong mathematics and physics understanding.
• Education and experience with the construction and engineering industry, with specific experience in dealing with construction drawings, specifications, construction schedule and processes is a plus.

• Strong written, verbal and presentational communication skills
• Must have the ability to switch quickly between tasks based on priority and timeline

What you’ll do:

• At SpotHopper we have two amazing opportunities to join our sales team depending on your experience. For those who have less than 2 years of B2B hunting experience in the tech/ SaaS, the Jr Account Executive is the perfect fit for you! This role was specifically created to be a 6 month ramp period to get you ready to jump into the full Account Executive role. Jr Account Executives do all the same duties as a full Account Executive but at a reduced rate and additional training to allow time to fully learn SpotHoppers products and processes.
• The full Account Executive position is perfect for those who have experience in sales, specifically in SaaS, marketing, full cycle, hunter oriented roles that incorporates cold outreach. Full AE start their time with SpotHopper world class training process and then quickly jump into the field, meeting with owners, and making sales.
• Both roles have full progression paths built in as well as endless opportunities to move into management, training, and new roles that open within the company.
• Own the full cycle, from cold outreach to close
• Work closely with our amazing Customer Success team as they handle the majority of the post sale work
• Focus on bringing new business, selling to locally owned bars and restaurants using a consultative approach

Axsome Therapeutics is currently searching for a field based Long-Term Care (LTC) Specialty Account Manager (SAM) to drive LTC commercial activities for an assigned geography by executing marketing strategies to ensure a successful launch and make a meaningful difference through the execution of commercial activities.

• Work with partners to establish business goals and performance metrics (e.g, depth of sales pipeline and revenue generation) to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies and demand-generation activities

What you bring to the role

• 2+ years of experience building, developing, and maintaining relationships with tech and human capital management (HCM) partners, benefit brokers, CPA's and financial advisors in the SMB space (including territory sales and business development)
• Successful - Proven track record of success in a quota driven sales environment

Compensation - At Human Interest, we consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate pay range for each position, including the cost of labor in different markets across the U.S. The total On Target Earnings (OTE) for the role described in this job posting is $130,000 - $140,000 which includes a base salary of $70,000, and a variable target compensation of $70,000. The specific pay rate offered is based on the candidate’s relevant skills and experience. Base pay is just one component of our Total Rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of physical, financial, and mental wellness benefits. Additionally, employees receive stock option grants, enhancing long-term financial growth and investment in our company's success.
