About The Role: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual to join our GMP Manufacturing, Upstream team. As a Technician I, GMP Manufacturing - Upstream you will play a critical role in the production and cultivation of AAV-based gene therapy products in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and manufacturing of cutting-edge therapies that have the potential to transform the lives of patients. 

Responsibilities:

• Execute upstream manufacturing operations, including but not limited to cell culture expansion, transfection, and harvest steps, according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch records. 
• Prepare and operate bioreactors, centrifuges, filtration systems, and other equipment required for upstream processing, ensuring they are properly calibrated and maintained. 
• Perform media and buffer preparation, as well as the aseptic transfer of materials, adhering to cGMP guidelines and maintaining a clean and organized work area. 
• Monitor critical process parameters during manufacturing operations and report any deviations or abnormalities to the supervisor in a timely manner. 
• Conduct sampling and in-process testing, such as cell counts, viability, and metabolite analysis, to ensure optimal culture conditions and product quality. 
• Document all manufacturing activities, data, and results accurately and in compliance with cGMP regulations and company policies. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC), to investigate and resolve deviations, non-conformances, and quality incidents related to upstream manufacturing processes. 
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and support the implementation of new technologies, equipment, and methods to enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity. 
• Follow safety procedures and adhere to environmental health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. 
• Participate in training programs and stay updated with current industry trends, regulatory requirements, and advancements in gene therapy manufacturing processes. 

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, or relevant industry certifications; or high school diploma with +2 years of related experience.
• Previous experience working in a regulated manufacturing or laboratory environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict timelines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Commitment to following SOPs, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance and product quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and escalate issues as needed.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by manufacturing production schedules.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, and work in a cleanroom environment while wearing appropriate gowning and PPE.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience working in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
• Upstream bioprocessing or biologics manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with cell culture techniques, bioreactors, centrifuges, and filtration systems
• Basic understanding of viral vector-based gene therapy processes, principles, and quality requirements.

The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter to join our team based out of Heath, OH as a Quality Assurance Technician. In this role the QA Technician will support in-process testing of liquid mix, bulk powder, and finished infant and toddler formula. This person will be responsible for sampling raw materials, testing liquid mix for pH and total solids, performing physical stability testing on bulk powder, testing the powder once canned and shipping samples to the appropriate testing lab. The QA Technician will also support keeping all labs clean, organized and stocked with needed supplies.

1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm M-F

What you will accomplish: 

• Ensure food safety and quality of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and plant processes
• Ensure clear communication with; and between, multiple departments on food safety and quality requirements and expectations
• Be able to work cross functionally, and ensure effective collaboration

As a Production Tech, you’ll be an essential part of the process of turning raw cannabis flower into our beautiful line of medicated products. Under the guidance of the management team, you will produce, package, and handle products, perform inventory duties, adhere to compliance requirements, and keep safety as your top priority while working daily in our facility. Here at GTI, we are looking for true team players who are the perfect hybrid between precision and energy. 

Responsibilities 

• Deliver on production goals, while focused on safety and quality
• Produce product per recipes and SOP’s, maintaining high quality standards
• Package product into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations
• Ensure all standards for processing procedures and laboratory protocols are followed
• Compliance with local and state regulations
• Adherence to quality control methods throughout entire process
• Documentation of manufacturing methods are created and maintained
• Electronically convert packaged products in the state traceability system

Qualifications      

• High School Education or GED graduate; some college or college graduate preferred  
• 1-2 years’ experience in manufacturing, food processing, warehousing, and/or inventory preferred

• Must be able to work well in a group and independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative
• Must be able to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure, and technique
• Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by GTI
• Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences  
• Ability to perform monotonous tasks with great efficiency without losing qualities
• Must be able to follow basic instructions and accept constructive criticism
• Prior cannabis experience not required

Working Conditions

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

OCS Technologies, an Accredited Labs company, is seeking a qualified Field Calibration Technician to support on-site calibration services for customers throughout Northeast Ohio. This position is responsible for performing calibrations at customer facilities in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Territory: Northeast Ohio & surrounding areas

Essential Functions:

• Perform on-site calibration of customer equipment at customer facilities
• Primary disciplines may include torque, pressure, dimensional inspection, electrical, and temperature (based on experience)
• Follow documented calibration procedures, work instructions, and quality system requirements
• Accurately record calibration data and results in the calibration management system
• Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and communicate findings per company procedures
• Maintain calibration standards, tools, and company vehicle in good working condition
• Represent the company professionally at customer sites
• Travel daily to customer sites to perform on-site calibrations and related services
   
• Perform field calibration work at multiple customer locations, including some overnight travel as required by business and customer needs
• Meet productivity, scheduling, and turnaround time expectations
• Support internal and external audits as required
• Attitude and machinal inclined – field services industry

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a calibration technician or in a related technical field
• Working knowledge of one or more calibration disciplines
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, specifications, and drawings
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Ability to work independently in a field environment
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory or field service environment
• Multi-discipline calibration experience
• Familiarity with calibration management software (IndySoft preferred)
• Experience supporting regulated or enterprise customers

• Field-based role requiring travel to customer locations
