ROLE OVERVIEW
The Electrical Maintenance Planner supports mining operations by optimizing equipment reliability by planning, scheduling, and coordinating electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring safety compliance, and managing parts inventory to minimize downtime. Working in alignment with OEM specifications, the role focuses on improving equipment availability, reducing unplanned downtime, and ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.

Essential Job Responsibilities
· Perform installations, startups, troubleshooting, commissioning, and preventative maintenance for electrical systems per drawings and codes.
· Execute First Time Energization (FTE), switching, AutoLOTO, loadbank connections/removals, and Level 3–5 commissioning support.
· Read and interpret blueprints, oneline diagrams, schematics, and installation plans; lay out conduit, cable tray, and devices.
· Follow approved Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and company safety protocols; maintain accurate work records and service documentation.
· Support and mentor apprentices; coordinate with Foreman, Superintendents, project management, and clients.
· Diagnose issues, respond to service calls, recommend improvements, and complete acceptance testing.
· Participate in postproject reviews and incorporate lessons learned.
Minimum Qualifications
· Licensed Journeyman Electrician with 7+ years of commercial/industrial experience; successful apprenticeship required.
· Experience in the mission critical electrical data center industry is highly preferred.
· Familiarity with data center systems, transfer schemes, switchgear, controllers, and pneumatic/electrical process controls.
· Proficient reading blueprints, oneline diagrams, risers, and electrical schematics.
· Skilled with conduit bending tools, cable tray layout, device trim, and loadbank operations.
· Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills; able to work independently as required.
· Must be 18+ and able to pass preemployment drug screen and background checks.

• Develop system engineering standards to measure the effectiveness of weapon system technologies against targets within the full WMD and C-WMD spectrum.
• Perform systems engineering assessments supporting Nuclear Fuel Cycle testing events.
• Perform systems engineering assessments supporting improvised explosive devices, pre and post detonation.
• Perform functions in the full spectrum WMD/C-WMD and CBRNE space to define limited access of technology gaps for weapons and weapon systems.
• Perform systems engineering for nuclear and non-nuclear weapons and weapon systems including small unmanned aerial vehicles (sUAS) to support technology growth in defined capability gaps.
• Background in performing job duties in areas with exposure to heavy construction, confined space environments, rattlesnakes, spiders, rodents, radiation, extremes in weather and walking or driving over hazardous terrain, in underground tunnels and target structures.
• Personnel performing this task shall be respiratory qualified and capable of wearing a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) (approximately 50 lbs.) while performing phased re-entry of test beds and target structures.
• Capable of operating rental vehicles and towing cargo or equipment trailers with a gross combined vehicle weight of less than 26,000 lbs.
• Ability to operate utility terrain vehicles (UTV) as-needed
• Significant travel to test locations will be required.
Qualifications Required

• Ability to perform test bed/test article preparation/verification consistent with test design and requirements documents; serve as on-site point of contact (POC) for technical issues.
• Knowledge in developing test articles and ensuring test support infrastructure at test sites utilized by RD-TS, are in a state of readiness, as specified and resourced by the Contracting Officer's representative(COR), so DTRA and external RDT&E program managers are able to support testing with minimum startup or preparation time.
• Ability to assemble unique Radiation Signature Testing Devices (RSTD).
• Prior experience in working/entering in permit required confined spaces as an entrant, and or rescue and don up to Level A personal protective equipment.

• Develop, manage, and implement instrumentation plans and methodologies to meet measurement objectives to support DTRA testing.
• Conduct research, development, and integration efforts for DTRA to maintain currency in state-of-the-art and emerging/developmental data acquisition systems and sensor technologies across the CWMD testing spectrum. • • • Develop and implement rigorous processes to ensure new sensor and data acquisition technologies are properly investigated and validated prior to introduction into the DTRA inventory.
• Direct integrated product support and readiness teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities and continuous operational support.
• Develop and execute LCSPs, Product Support Packages, and DSOR analyses, and influence design through milestone reviews to improve supportability and affordability.
• Lead cross-functional government/contractor partners and drive cost-reduction initiatives while aligning cost, schedule, and performance objectives across the portfolio.
Qualifications Required
• Bachelors + 10 years of experience or Masters +5 years of experience in a science or engineering field.
• 7+ years development and implementation of instrumentation plans for highly complex experiments.
• Experience designing, building, calibrating, and troubleshooting advanced sensors and data acquisition systems (hardware/software) to measure high-frequency phenomena and WMD effects.
• Proven track record in Creating, validating, and implementing instrumentation plans for field tests and laboratory experiments, including monitoring testbed/tunnel construction.
• Demonstrated capability in collecting and analyzing data from tests to evaluate the performance of weapons, sensors, and protective materials.
• Prior knowledge in ensuring test environments accurately simulate real-world, adversarial WMD scenarios (e.g., hardened, deeply buried targets).
• Background in submitting detailed, actionable reports to DTRA on test results, equipment performance, and, potential issues.
• AN ACTIVE DOD TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.

• Develop system engineering standards to measure the effectiveness of weapon system technologies against targets within the full WMD and C-WMD spectrum.
• Perform systems engineering assessments supporting Nuclear Fuel Cycle testing events.
• Perform systems engineering assessments supporting improvised explosive devices, pre and post detonation.
• Perform functions in the full spectrum WMD/C-WMD and CBRNE space to define limited access of technology gaps for weapons and weapon systems.
• Perform systems engineering for nuclear and non-nuclear weapons and weapon systems including small unmanned aerial vehicles (sUAS) to support technology growth in defined capability gaps.
• Background in performing job duties in areas with exposure to heavy construction, confined space environments, rattlesnakes, spiders, rodents, radiation, extremes in weather and walking or driving over hazardous terrain, in underground tunnels and target structures.
• Personnel performing this task shall be respiratory qualified and capable of wearing a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) (approximately 50 lbs.) while performing phased re-entry of test beds and target structures.
• Capable of operating rental vehicles and towing cargo or equipment trailers with a gross combined vehicle weight of less than 26,000 lbs.
• Ability to operate utility terrain vehicles (UTV) as-needed
• Significant travel to test locations will be required.
Qualifications Required
• Bachelors or equivalent with 7+ years development and implementation of instrumentation plans for highly complex experiments.
• Past experience in systems engineering analysis and assessments using counter radio electronic warfare systems demonstrating performance measures against testing of weapon systems, sUAS and improvised explosive devices.
• Capability to perform targeting assistance with national technical means support to WMD/CWMD testing.
• Demonstrated experience in systems engineering analysis to homemade explosives testing defining capabilities and gaps supporting the WMD mission space.
• Ability to perform test bed/test article preparation/verification consistent with test design and requirements documents; serve as on-site point of contact (POC) for technical issues.
• Knowledge in developing test articles and ensuring test support infrastructure at test sites utilized by RD-TS, are in a state of readiness, as specified and resourced by the Contracting Officer's representative(COR), so DTRA and external RDT&E program managers are able to support testing with minimum startup or preparation time.
• Ability to assemble unique Radiation Signature Testing Devices (RSTD).
• Prior experience in working/entering in permit required confined spaces as an entrant, and or rescue and don up to Level A personal protective equipment.

• Shall have an understanding of the steps for performing risk assessments, hazard analysis, hazard mitigation, hazardous materials program management and awareness, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
