Axogen Mission and Business Purpose

Job Summary of the Field Market Development Manager
The Market Development Manager (MDM) will be responsible for developing and executing strategic market development initiatives for Axogen’s OMF/H&N business. Through direct engagement with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and stakeholders in the most prominent and high potential Oral Maxillofacial and Head & Neck Academic Medical Centers, the MDM will be required to execute market development initiatives that help position Axogen as the Standard-of-Care for peripheral nerve repair in these markets. Through detailed understanding of the surgical procedure and customer needs the MDM will define our unique value proposition as well as establish and train Axogen field sales team on best practice sales processes while collaborating cross functionally to coordinate and execute market development initiatives that build brand and therapy awareness as well as belief in the Axogen nerve repair algorithm. With a strong emphasis on building and maintaining KOL relationships in assigned accounts and regions, the MDM will build advocacy and P2P influencers that drive awareness and adoption of the Axogen nerve repair algorithm in our focus accounts. Ultimately, through therapy awareness, education, and advocacy the MDM will aid in expanding Axogen's footprint and adoption in targeted OMF/H&N procedures.
Requirements of the Field Market Development Manager
- Bachelor's degree, preferred Marketing or related field, MBA preferred
- 8+ years of sales, marketing or market development experience in H&N/ENT and/or OMF
- Established and strong KOL network in H&N
- New therapy/technology commercialization experience
- Market Development experience with demonstrated success in executing market development initiatives that drove KOL adoption and advocacy as well as market penetration
- Customer-facing experience with leading clinical experts
- Proficient in stakeholder management
- Proficient in reimbursement, coding and provider economics
- Proven track record of working cross-functionally within a commercial organization
Responsibilities of the Field Market Development Manager
The specific duties of the Field Market Development Manager include but are not limited to:
- Identify and develop strategic relationships with the most influential KOLs and execute impactful market development programs in the assigned strategic accounts to advance Axogen’s nerve repair algorithm as standard of care within targeted facilities
- Collaborate with Prof Ed and sales team to provide nerve repair education and training opportunities for fellows and attendings in targeted centers
- Collaborate with downstream marketing to execute account based marketing programs and market development initiatives such as therapy awareness, educational dinner programs, journal clubs and other P2P engagements with the aim to establish a standardized approach to nerve repair in the target centers
- Identify KOLs for research collaboration, participation in advisory boards or KOLs with societal influence with the aim of developing advocacy for establishing Axogen nerve repair algorithm as a standard of care option
- Establish and share best practice sales process with sales organization and collaborate with sales team to accelerate customer activation, adoption and loyalty in target accounts
- Work with sales training to build appropriate education for all levels of the sales organization
- Create a surgeon feedback loop to provide visibility to outcomes and positive quality of life impact for their patients
- Ensure market development insights and intelligence are incorporated into upstream portfolio process and product launch plans
- Collaborate with HEOR team on health economic education and support to strategic accounts including budget impact analysis, coding and reimbursement
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure messaging to key accounts and stakeholders is consistent
- Ability to travel up to 70% - overnight travel expected

Benefits/Compensation
The anticipated target compensation for base salary plus annual bonus and field performance incentives is ~$193K - $228K (based on individual and company performance).
This position is eligible for an annual bonus.

Job Summary
The Ocular Surgery Account Manager (OSAM) is responsible for growing business with Harrow-approved products with a strong focus on expanding sales in a defined geographic region, reporting to the National Sales Director, Ocular Surgery. This position requires a highly motivated self-starter with strong business acumen who offers solutions to challenges, has a positive presence with internal and external customers, is well organized, and can multitask in a continuously changing and dynamic ophthalmic surgery (or surgical) environment. Assigned monthly/quarterly/annual sales revenue and product objectives are achieved through consultation and value-based communications with ophthalmologists, surgery centers, and staff on the use, characteristics, and advantages of Harrow peri-operative products. Prospective candidates should have a proven track record of success in managing peri-operative therapies, managing relationships between a physician’s office and their ASC, buy-and-bill sales, and working in a highly collaborative matrix environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Takes 100% ownership, with an entrepreneurial mindset, to meet or exceed quarterly sales revenue and product goals
- Ability to effectively communicate complex clinical information to ophthalmic surgeons, billers, and administration in both the surgeon’s office and ASC
- Adept understanding of complex care systems and strong capability to assess local dynamics to inform area business growth acceleration plans
- Solid understanding of reimbursement concepts as they relate to buy and bill
- Develop critical physician and ASC staff relationships within the assigned geography
- Utilizes all internal resources when developing quarterly action plans or handling problem accounts
- Provides weekly new business forecasts and updates
- All sales activity is adequately recorded in CRM
- Maintain an in-depth and professional level understanding of the Harrow surgical peri-operative products
- Collaborate effectively with internal departments and peers
- Act with a sense of urgency at all levels of customer care and follow up
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned geography on a routine basis
- Utilize the designated CRM system – Salesforce
- Understand and follow all industry and company policies and guidelines
- Comply with all state and federal legislation and regulatory requirements
- Manage expenses in a thoughtful, responsible, and ethical manner
- Resourceful thinker that may not have a complete roadmap to success, but finds the resources available to win and prosper
- Acts as the liaison for customer complaints or issues with continual follow-up
- Submits all required reports, including monthly expense reports, on time
- Competent in PowerPoint, Excel, Word & Outlook
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Has 3+ years of successful ophthalmology sales experience with buy and bill sales and/or ophthalmic medical device sales experience preferred.
- Ability to build, develop, and foster longstanding relationships with customers
- Ability to quickly absorb product and practice information and offer solutions that resonate
- Experience with the execution of strategic and targeted business plans around priorities and goals
- Proficient with MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of how physicians make decisions regarding patient care for various therapies
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Solid independent judgment and initiative required
- Superior communication and written skills are a must
- Ability to multitask, adjusting priorities as needed
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to become proficient with Salesforce CRM

Our office, Juan C. Alonso DMD a PC in North Bergen, NJ is seeking a talented dental assistant to assist our Oral Surgeon, to join our busy specialty practice.
We are looking for a talented and skilled Dental Assistant experienced with Oral Surgery to help us accomplish our mission to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world-class specialty experience for every patient. Your Responsibilities
You will ensure excellent patient service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the Surgeon's shoulders. You will be focused on ensuring that the patients' needs, concerns, and questions are answered. You will help keep the patient relaxed and comfortable during their visit, being the patients go to resource during their visit which includes the following:
- Prepare the surgical area, instruments, and equipment before each procedure.
- Assist the surgeon during procedures by anticipating the surgeon's needs and assisting as required.
- Keep surgical areas and instruments clean and sterilized.
- Monitor and record patient vitals and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and provide post-operative instructions and materials to patients.
- Help maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the surgeon or office manager.
As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.
Your Background
You are a resourceful Dental Assistant experienced with oral surgery who loves helping patients receive the experience they deserve and helping the Oral Surgeon to provide it. You're excited by the prospect of a patient leaving your office in a healthier, stronger, and more comfortable / happier being, each and every day. You’re a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who is able to proactively adjust to shifting priorities and values the chance to make an important impact.
You also have the following:
- At least 3-5 years of experience as dental assistant, Oral Surgery specialty is preferred
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- A strong attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- A high school diploma
- A certificate from an accredited surgical assistant program (if required by law)
- An active state radiology license (if required by law)
- Experience with dental x-ray (licensed)
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred)

The next member of Bond’s expanded specialty services will provide specialty-level surgery consultations and procedures to our large network of pets and pet parents, as well as to external hospital referrals. A pilot program for outpatient surgery has been a massive success, and we are ready to expand our offerings and help more pets.
What You'll Do:
- Perform soft tissue and orthopedic procedures on an outpatient basis
- Perform consultations for Bond clients as well as referrals from external hospitals
- Partner with our Bond General Practice and Urgent care providers, creating a complete ecosystem for surgery and long term follow up
- [As Interested} Engage in our active teaching programs to help new graduates learn surgery and our experienced practitioners hone their skills (this will include philanthropy opportunities!)
Qualifications:
- Veterinary Medical Degree (DVM/VMD or foreign equivalent)
- Board certification or residency-trained and licensed in good standing or be able to obtain licensure to practice as a veterinary professional in New Jersey and/or New York State.
- DEA licensure and Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certificate if needed for all states for clinics under supervision.

Salary Range: $220,000 – $275,000 annually with above market production. Exact salary will be dependent on the candidate’s schedule, skills, location and experience level.
