The Nigeria program, established in 2018, is headquartered in Minna, Niger state. We're currently serving over 100,000 unique farmers across the state via our inputs on credit 'Core' program, inputs on cash 'Retail' program, and have a free tree seedling distribution 'Agroforestry' program. About the Role

Seeking an experienced professional with over 3 years of experience managing agroforestry or other field-based rural/development projects, with great team and project management skills, to help us reach more farmers & serve them with tree products.

Responsibilities

Delivery of Program KPI

• Support the successful execution of Trees field operations at state/regional level, which includes field team set up, nursery set up and management, seedling production and sales, farmer enrolment, farmer adoption and post distribution activities with the target of 100% timely completion across all.
• Support the successful delivery of other program division targets as assigned to ensure OAF is serving farmers holistically across multiple business units.

Team Management

• State-wide field team management, including field directors, assistant field directors, field managers, field assistants (and/or other casuals engaged at the site and nursery level), and nursery managers with a responsibility to serve a minimum of 160,000 farmers annually.
• Train, motivate, mentor, and evaluate team members through direct management, as in the case of FDs/AFDs and/or indirect management of field managers to drive program goals across the state.

Talent Management

• Conduct regular skills gap assessments in collaboration with L&D to identify team training needs for trees, either at the state, regional or program-wide level.
• Lead annual recruitment campaigns for open roles.

Research and Program Execution

• Undertake independent stretch projects that contribute to the program’s success as specified by the program leadership.
• Liaise with collaborators from other farmer-facing and support departments to support innovations and new approaches that will help OAF serve more farmers in better/more sustainable ways 

Training and meetings

• Attend all relevant Programs Division and Trees department events as required, including trainings and meetings.
• Support and participate regularly in district-level meetings and occasionally pod-level meetings to build fluency of field-level challenges, farmer insights and execution approaches.

About the Role

Seeking a detail-oriented data Coordinator to power our Trees sustainability. You’ll centralize data, lead cross-team reporting, and optimize field execution through dashboards and surveys. Help us refine our offerings and deliver better results for farmers.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination and execution of the Trees Sustainability workstream under the guidance of a Specialist or Trees Lead.
• Create and maintain project schedules, timelines and milestones.
• Document key learnings including challenges and risks, areas of improvement and opportunities.
• Consolidate and maintain all data and documentation related to the Sustainability workstream including the Fruit Trees Program.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to track project performance and key indicators including nursery performance and efficiency, germination, and production, farmer enrolments and sales, distribution and post distribution farmer follow up.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of all program data.
• Conduct regular budget variance analysis to determine performance against budget and share finding with program leadership.
• Provide actionable recommendations to field teams based on program performance data.
• Design and/or Support farmer surveys to gather insights for program improvement.
• Go to Gemba regularly  to meet with farmers, tree group leaders, nursery managers, key community leaders to build fluency on field execution to inform targeted support to field teams.

About the Role

You will ensure that market access value chains are analyzed against the winner value chain framework thoroughly and accurately to 1) inform org resourcing decisions, 2) guide Market Access stakeholders on how to strengthen those value chains, and 3) deliver impact for smallholder farmers and especially youth and women.

Value Chain Analysis

• Analyze our active market access businesses to drive shared understanding of performance and investment conviction across departments.
• Lead diligence on new market access businesses that can create significant demand for farmers' crops, opportunities for women and youth in program countries, and contribute to One Acre Fund's financial sustainability.
• Support financial analysis, including our budgeting cycle and investment cases for CapEx.
• Socialize recommendations with key stakeholders across the organization.

Value Chain Development

• Own a new market access pilot from end-to-end: diligence, design, and delivery in collaboration with country programs. Ensure these activities are aligned with the interests of smallholder farmers and youth and women in particular.
• Support country programs in their value chain development learning on operations, quality/technical management, and unit economics.
• Develop external expert networks to support market intelligence and strengthen execution on sales and market development.

About the Role

The Nigeria Talent Acquisition Associate is responsible for proactively building pools of talent for the country program with the ultimate aim of a) Increasing hire quality and b) reducing the time it takes to hire that talent. They will pursue a comprehensive talent strategy for the Nigeria program that will include networking, young talent programs, attending high value events and more. The TA Associate will work very closely with the country program to better understand their talent needs. The customer (Nigeria Program) will consider the Talent Acquisition Associate to be the key business partner on the Recruitment team and a key part of program success.

• Close integration within the Nigeria program to understand their hiring needs

About the role

The Data Privacy & Protection Officer will support the Compliance Team in implementing and maintaining TeamApt’s Data Protection framework in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023, GAID, and other relevant Data Privacy regulations. The role provides day-to-day oversight in monitoring Data Processing activities, handling customer privacy rights requests, conducting awareness training, and supporting privacy risk management across TeamApt’s operations.

Compliance & Governance

• Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring adherence to Data Privacy policies, procedures, and controls, including NDPA 2023, CBN regulations, and NDPC directives

• Maintain and regularly update the Record of Processing Activities (RoPA) and oversee the NDPC Data Protection Compliance Audit.

Data Subject Rights & Requests Management

• Coordinate and ensure timely, compliant responses to all Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and other individual rights requests.
• Manage data subject rights requests- including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability within statutory timelines.
• Develop and enforce the organisation's Data Protection Policy, Privacy Notice, Cookie Policy, Retention Policy, and all supporting privacy documentation.

Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) & Risk Management

• Conduct and review DPIAs for new products, systems, and vendors. 
• Facilitate the identification and mitigation of Data Protection/Privacy risks and ensure technical measures are in place in collaboration with IT and Risk teams.

Training, Awareness & Capacity Building

• Execute privacy awareness campaigns and training across departments, including developing and maintaining learning materials.
• Monitor and interpret changes in Nigerian and International Data Protection laws

Third-Party Management

• Oversee third-party data processor due diligence, ensure Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) are in place with all vendors and partners, and manage ongoing compliance of processor relationships.
• Maintain the Vendor Data Processing Register and support contract reviews for privacy clauses.

Incident Management & Reporting

• Manage data breaches, maintain incident Registers and participate in post-incident reviews.
• Manage data breach response (documentation, investigation, regulatory reporting to NDPC within statutory timelines). 
• Ensure personal data elements are adequately protected within the organisation's security architecture, including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, tokenisation of sensitive payment data, and audit logging
• Provide data protection oversight for the organisation's Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) programmes, ensuring personal data recoverability and minimised data loss objectives

Regulatory Engagement

• Prepare reports, documentation, and responses for the NDPC, and other regulators, also coordinate responses to NDPC’s notices, directives, and audits.
• Serve as a representative in all regulatory engagements with the NDPC, NITDA, NCC and other data-related matters.
• Manage and maintain all associated registrations, filings, renewals, and regulatory correspondence.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience in

About the Role

This is not a "manage the team and send a weekly report" role. We need someone who has been in the trenches — who knows what it feels like to be on the phones, who can coach a rep through a tough objection on a Tuesday afternoon, and who also knows how to read a conversion dashboard and make a call.

You'll be leading our inbound and outbound patient conversion team. That means owning performance, owning the pipeline, and building the playbooks that don't exist yet. If you need a polished process handed to you before you can start — this isn't the right fit.

What You'll Own

• Lead and coach a remote team of Sales Representatives — set daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs and hold people to them with support, not just pressure
• Dig into where leads are dropping off — improve inbound conversion rates and outbound reactivation, and know the numbers well enough to know what to fix
• Build the sales process as you go — write scripts, refine messaging, review call recordings, and give reps real, specific feedback
• Maintain clean pipeline discipline, forecast accurately, and work closely with marketing and ops to make sure the leads coming in are worth working

What Success Looks Like at 90 Days

• Inbound conversion rate is trending up
• Reps have clear KPIs and daily accountability
• Lead drop-off has measurably decreased
• Sales scripts and objection frameworks are documented
• Pipeline reporting is consistent and reliable
• Outbound reactivation is running as a real motion

What we're looking for:

• 4+ years in sales and 2+ years managing a team — and you've personally closed deals, not just managed people who do
• You can point to specific conversion rates you've improved and explain exactly how you did it
• You've generated or sourced your own leads before — you know what it takes to build pipeline, not just work it
• You've built or rebuilt a sales process from scratch — not just inherited one
• You understand inbound conversion and outbound prospecting — not just one or the other
• Background in telehealth, healthtech, SaaS, or DTC is a strong plus
• You actively use AI tools in your workflow — for coaching, reporting, outreach, or process improvement (not just "I've tried ChatGPT")
• Comfortable with ambiguity — you build structure rather than wait for it
• Able to work U.S. business hours consistently and communicate clearly in English

About the Role

Seeking an HR professional to strengthen people systems, performance management, and employee relations while partnering with leaders to support workforce stability, compliance, and organizational effectiveness at scale.

Responsibilities

Co-defining Vision and Implementing Strategy:

• Co-designing and implementing people strategies that proactively meet the organization’s workforce, performance, and compliance needs, including performance management, employee relations, talent management, HR operations, and policy implementation.
• Translating organizational goals into practical HR frameworks, tools, and processes that strengthen workforce effectiveness, accountability, and retention.
• Proactively identifying people-related risks (e.g., performance gaps, attrition trends, compliance issues) and advising leadership on mitigation actions before they impact delivery.
• Driving consistent and compliant application of HR policies and procedures across departments and locations.

Learning and Development:

• Collaborate on creating L&D solutions to support organizational change and development as outlined in the annual L&D strategy
• Manage the annual L&D Training tracker database, providing regular reports to line managers and supervisors on training administered and new training topics for review.

Performance Management:

• Lead the operational delivery and continuous improvement of the Annual PDR cycle, ensuring consistency, fairness, and data integrity.
• Partner with managers to address performance gaps and support improvement plans.

Employee Relations:

• Act as a key advisor to managers on employee relations matters, HR policies, and labor regulations.
• Support investigations, documentation, and resolution of employee relations cases.
• Promote consistent and equitable application of HR policies across departments

Talent Management and  Workforce Support

• Support probation management, confirmations, promotions, internal transfers, and workforce movements.
• Partner with recruitment and hiring managers to support workforce planning and staffing decisions.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee lifecycle data across HR systems.

HR Operations, Data and Reporting

• Manage HR trackers, dashboards, and reports to provide visibility on key people metrics.
• Prepare regular insights for the People Lead on headcount, attrition, performance outcomes, and compliance risks.
• Support contract administration, HR system updates, and documentation management.

Qualifications

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

• Seeking an experienced professional with over 7+ years of experience in human resources principles, practices and legislation. Strong understanding of HR, particularly as an HRBP.
• Human Resources Practice: Strong practical knowledge of core HR functions including performance management, employee relations, talent management, HR operations, and policy implementation, aligned with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
• Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills for assessing training effectiveness, tracking progress, and providing data-driven insights for improvement.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for designing training content and facilitating learning sessions.
• HR Systems & Database Management: Proficiency in managing HR databases and information systems, ensuring data accuracy, and generating reports to support compliance, reporting, and workforce planning.

About the Role

This role oversees product and service trials that enhance farmer livelihoods and program income. The core of the job is product innovation and trial management, supported by strong human-centred design skills that can be applied where relevant.

Responsibilities

• Trial Design & Strategy: Independently design and plan high-rigour agronomic and adoption trials, integrating farmer-centred insights, detailed protocols, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Field Execution & Research: Lead market research and Social & Behaviour Change (SBC) campaigns, overseeing qualitative methods (FGDs, interviews) and prototype testing to validate farmer needs.
• Team Supervision: Manage and develop a team of field officers and managers, providing technical training in HCD and ensuring high-fidelity execution of trial protocols.
• Data Analysis & Synthesis: Conduct quantitative analysis using STATA or R, triangulating numerical data with qualitative behavioural insights to refine impact models.
• Reporting & Stakeholder Management: Translate complex findings into actionable reports and decision memos, liaising independently with global teams and external departments.
• Performance Management: Oversee staff KPIs, professional development plans, and unbiased hiring to ensure continuous improvement in trial efficiency and team capability.

About the Role

The Managing Director is responsible for providing overall leadership management and general technical direction of the entire program, ensuring an integrated vision among different components, functions and stakeholders, and a focus on achieving the results defined in the contract. You will be responsible for leading and overseeing the development, delivery and day-to-day management of a high quality, innovative, cost effective and sustainable education program resulting in immediate and lasting change for children and building the capacity of the duty bearers. This is a highly hands-on job, involving intense program management, broad technical knowledge covering financial management, supply chain, government relations and school operations management. For this role, we need someone who has the experience of managing highly complex and large programs with a lean team coupled with a deep passion for programme mission. Leadership, humility and self-awareness are a must to be successful. This is an incredibly fast-paced and absorbing role that will ask a lot of you but it will also be personally rewarding in that you will see the impact of your efforts first hand.

What You Will Do

• Act as the senior General Manager for the program, overseeing budgets, strategic and operational delivery and stakeholder management.
• Lead and manage the program team – providing the vision, day-to-day coordination, resource management, and supervision required to accomplish project objectives and to deliver superior quality products.
• Be the primary liaison with the designated Ministry of Education, State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and elected political champions and his or her representatives, responding to client needs within the limits of the arrangement.
• Ensure quality control and the overall responsiveness of technical assistance provided, including necessary adjustments to operations to fit the requirements of the programme.
• Identify issues and risks related to program implementation in a timely manner, and suggest appropriate program adjustments.
• Ensure the technical and methodological soundness of activities and, in collaboration with the Collaborate with colleagues to solve problems and build a learning environment within the program team and other function heads of the organization.
• Responsible for on or under-budget delivery of all aspects of the programme. 

What You Should Have

• Bachelor’s degree essential, MBA (or Master’s) would be preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience working in project management and design in developing countries, preferably including experience in the state or country to which you will be assigned.
• At least 5 years of management experience, including direct supervision of professional and support staff and assembling teams working in multi-faceted roles including field based roles.
• A proven track record of excelling in the leadership of operational teams, as well as in design-thinking, process and system design and application, managing complex and inter-related functions, as this will be critical overseeing a large scale school system transformation.
• Prior experience within a fast-paced, high-growth, metric-driven operational organization will be an advantage.
• Strong management skills, leadership qualities, professional reputation, ability to build or access key contacts within the Ministry of Education or equivalent local and state regulatory bodies.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with government representatives, for-profit private sector entities, local community organizations, donors, consortium members and other stakeholders, at national and sub-national levels.
• Respect and sensitivity towards cultural, gender, ethnicity and religious diversity.
• Maturity and confidence in dealing with high ranking officials of government institutions, international institutions and non-government institutions.
• Demonstrated excellent communications and writing abilities and superior interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in building the Ministry of Education (or other relevant Government entity) and devolved structures capacity in developing and realizing education strategic plans to provide quality Education services is a plus.
