About the role
As an Applied AI team member at Anthropic, you will be a Pre-Sales architect focused on becoming a trusted technical advisor helping large enterprises understand the value of Claude and paint the vision on how they can successfully integrate and deploy Claude into their technology stack. You'll combine your deep technical expertise with customer-facing skills to architect innovative LLM solutions that address complex business challenges while maintaining our high standards for safety and reliability.
Working closely with our Sales, Product, and Engineering teams, you'll guide customers from initial technical discovery through successful deployment. You'll leverage your expertise to help customers understand Claude's capabilities, develop evals, and design scalable architectures that maximize the value of our AI systems.
Responsibilities:

Partner with account executives to deeply understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical implementation

Serve as the primary technical advisor to enterprise customers throughout their Claude adoption journey, from discovery to initial evaluation through deployment. You will need to coordinate internally across multiple teams & stakeholders to drive customer success

Support customers building with both the Claude API and Claude for Work

Create and deliver compelling technical content tailored to different audiences. You will need to be able to spread the gamut from technical deep dives for engineering & development teams up to business value focused conversations with executives

Guide technical architecture decisions and help customers integrate Claude effectively into their existing technology stack

Help customers develop evaluation frameworks to measure Claude's performance for their specific use cases

Identify common integration patterns and contribute insights back to our Product and Engineering teams

About the role
Join Anthropic's Customer Success team as an EMEA based Customer Success Manager as we pioneer the future of enterprise AI adoption. As a Customer Success Manager at Anthropic, you'll be the strategic partner and trusted advisor to our most complex customers across EMEA helping them harness the full potential of all our Claude capabilities - API, Claude for Enterprise, and Claude Code.

Your role focuses on helping customers scale their usage effectively, implement change management strategies, optimize use cases, and maximize the value of their investment through expanded use cases across their organization. The insights you gather from your customers will directly inform our research priorities, product development, and go-to-market strategies — making you a key voice in shaping how we build and deliver ongoing value as a business.
As one of our early CSMs in EMEA, you'll be a pioneer - helping to build regional processes, establishing new customer relationships, and representing Anthropic's brand in a high-growth market. You'll operate with significant autonomy while maintaining strong alignment with global teams, requiring someone who thrives in ambiguous environments and can work effectively across time zones.
Responsibilities:
- Build trusting, strategic relationships with key EMEA customer decision makers to understand their business and objectives, identifying opportunities for optimization and expansion
- Become an expert in Anthropic's products across API, Claude for Enterprise, and Claude Code, understanding the technical nuances and best practices for each to guide customers to the right solutions
- Leverage your deep knowledge of the customer and regional nuances to proactively drive usage planning, understanding current and future consumption/ adoption and how it creates realized value for the customer
- Monitor usage patterns and identify optimization opportunities, proactively addressing underutilization across both consumption-based (API) and seat-based (Claude for Enterprise / Claude Code) products to drive full value from contracted commitments
- Serve as the customer’s thought partner, enhancing their knowledge of Claude products by socializing Anthropic’s product roadmap, driving awareness on new products and engaging Product PMs as the voice of EMEA customers
- Document and quantify customer value realized through business outcomes, ROI, and impact metrics to build compelling internal business cases for continued and expanded investment
- Identify potential use cases and lines of business not currently onboarded, partnering with customers to discover new applications for Claude across different departments, teams, and workflows
- Develop and execute change management strategies to drive end-user adoption and maximize value within customer organizations, including Train the Trainer programs, Center of Excellence development, and organizational enablement
- Own the customer experience across their lifecycle — managing comprehensive account and success plans grounded in the customer's business objectives, conducting Quarterly Business Reviews, and serving as the primary conduit between the customer and Anthropic
- Build Anthropic's brand and customer relationships as a member of the first in-region CS team, developing EMEA-specific processes, playbooks, and best practices where needed that account for regional business cultures

- 6+ years of experience in customer-facing roles (Customer Success, Consulting, Solutions Architect, Solutions/ Functional Consultant, Success Engineer or similar)
- Experience driving success across both consumption-based and seat-based business models, with understanding of different expansion levers and success metrics for each
- Technical fluency with ability to understand and articulate AI/ML concepts, API integrations, and software implementation patterns
- Experience explaining and demonstrating technical products to various audiences
- Strategic mindset to identify growth opportunities and translate them into actionable expansion plans
- Cross-functional collaborator who represents the customer in a positive, proactive manner, rallying everyone around paths forward that solve customer needs
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple customer relationships

About the role:
As a Sales Strategy & Operations Partner focused on the Industry segment, you'll be instrumental in driving revenue growth across key industry verticals by partnering with sales leadership to develop, refine, and execute industry-specific go-to-market strategies. Responsibilities:
Enterprise Strategy & Analysis:
- Partner with sales and regional leaders to develop gtm strategy, motions, country/ region prioritisation and sector focus and strategy. Refine industry-specific go-to-market strategies across key verticals (e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare, Technology, Retail, Manufacturing etc.)
- Identify Industry customer needs, pain points etc. and share feedback cross functionally to guide solution building across global teams such as product, engineering, finance, legal etc.
- Build and maintain industry-specific value propositions, use cases, and sales playbooks
- Drive territory and account segmentation strategies based on industry characteristics and opportunity
- Establish industry benchmarks and best practices to guide sales approach and prioritization
- Work with Finance on target setting, planning and bottom-up modeling
Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution:
- Develop comprehensive industry frameworks that standardize how customers in each vertical derive value from our solutions
- Drive quarterly, semi-annual, and annual planning cycles for industry-focused GTM segments
- Analyze industry-specific sales metrics and pipeline dynamics to develop proactive insights
- Partner with Account Executives to evolve sales motions and industry best practices based on vertical nuances

Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Lead collaboration across Strategy and RevOps, Sales Enablement, Strategic Finance, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure industry alignment

- Prepare executive-level materials including industry performance reviews, strategic planning sessions, and board updates

Operational Excellence:

Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software, with focus on sales strategy, revenue operations, industry consulting, or commercial roles
- Deep expertise in one or more enterprise industry verticals with proven track record of driving growth in those markets
- Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated ability to convert complex industry data into actionable insights and strategy
- Direct experience in commercial GTM roles selling or supporting sales of B2B software solutions to enterprise customers
- Proven experience designing territories, setting quotas, and building variable compensation plans for enterprise sales teams
- Track record of building sales capacity models, productivity frameworks, and headcount planning processes
- Extensive experience with enterprise CRM systems (Salesforce required) and business intelligence tools
- Proven ability to influence and partner with C-level stakeholders and senior sales leadership
- Track record of developing industry-specific frameworks, sales plays, and value propositions
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or related field
Strong candidates may also have:
- Experience at high-growth B2B SaaS companies, particularly in industry-focused GTM or vertical sales roles

About the role
As an Enterprise Account Executive at Anthropic, you'll join the foundational team at the forefront of introducing our cutting-edge AI productivity SaaS solution to large enterprise organizations across DACH. You'll drive the adoption of safe, frontier AI by securing strategic deals with major corporations, technology companies, and research institutions. You'll leverage your consultative sales expertise in the enterprise sector to propel revenue growth while becoming a trusted partner to enterprise stakeholders, helping them embed and deploy AI while uncovering its full range of capabilities across business operations, research, and administration. In collaboration with GTM, Product, and Marketing teams, you'll continuously refine our value proposition, sales methodology, and market positioning to resonate with enterprise decision-makers in the DACH market.
Responsibilities:

Win new business and drive revenue for Anthropic within the enterprise sector across DACH. Navigate complex enterprise organizations to reach key decision-makers, educate them about our services, and help them succeed with Anthropic. You'll own the full sales cycle, from first outbound to close

Design and execute innovative sales strategies tailored to enterprise procurement cycles and budgeting processes to meet and exceed revenue quotas. Analyze enterprise market landscapes, trends, and dynamics to translate high-level plans into targeted sales activities and campaigns

Spearhead market expansion by identifying new use cases within enterprise departments, innovation centers, and operational offices. Collaborate cross-functionally to differentiate our offerings for enterprise applications

Navigate complex enterprise stakeholder ecosystems including executives, administrators, IT departments, and procurement offices to build consensus across DACH business culture and practices

Inform product roadmaps and features by gathering feedback from enterprise users and conveying market needs from the DACH enterprise landscape. Provide insights that strengthen our value proposition for enterprise customers

Continuously refine the enterprise sales methodology by incorporating learnings into playbooks, templates, and best practices. Identify process improvements that optimize sales productivity and consistency
You may be a good fit if you have:

Native German speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
-
8+ years of B2B sales experience in enterprise technology, preferably in SaaS or emerging technologies

Specialised sales industries experience: Telco, Manufacturing, Retail, Energy and Utilities

A track record of managing complex sales cycles within large enterprise organizations and securing strategic deals by understanding both technical requirements and business use cases

Demonstrated ability to navigate enterprise bureaucracies and procurement processes, building consensus among diverse stakeholders including executives, administrators, and IT departments

Extensive experience negotiating complex agreements within enterprise procurement frameworks and policies
-
Proven experience exceeding revenue targets in the enterprise sector by effectively managing an evolving pipeline and sales process

Excellent communication skills and the ability to present confidently to various enterprise audiences, from technical teams and business analysts to senior executives

Deep understanding of enterprise buying cycles, decision-making processes, and key pain points, particularly within the DACH market

A strategic, analytical approach to assessing the enterprise market combined with creative, tactical execution to capture opportunities
-
A passion for and/or experience with advanced AI systems and their applications in enterprise environments. You feel strongly about ensuring frontier AI systems are developed safely and ethically for business use

Location: Munich, Germany
Logistics
Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
