ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Hunt is onX’s most complex vertical, serving a diverse set of customers across public and private land use cases. As the product evolves, we’re focused on improving the end-to-end Hunt experience—driving deeper engagement, retention, and long-term value.
We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to help shape and drive this next phase. Reporting to the Group Product Director of Hunt, you’ll define meaningful problems, lead discovery, and drive solutions from concept through launch.
This is a hands-on, builder-oriented role. You’ll move between insight and execution—getting close to customers, turning ambiguity into clear priorities, and driving work forward to shipped outcomes. You’ll partner closely with product leadership to shape direction while owning execution within your domain.
You’ll operate in a matrixed product organization, working across Hunt and shared platform teams (e.g., Navigation, Offline Maps) to ensure solutions meet Hunt customer needs while scaling across verticals.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 7+ years of progressive product management experience delivering consumer-facing mobile software, with a demonstrated track record of owning and delivering end-to-end product outcomes that measurably improved engagement, retention, or conversion.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Deep fluency in mobile-first product ecosystems, with hands-on experience managing the full lifecycle of iOS and/or Android consumer applications.
- Proven ability to drive outcomes through influence in complex, cross-functional environments, including matrix organizations, aligning engineering, design, marketing, and leadership around a shared product direction without direct authority.
- Experience defining and operationalizing product success metrics, including user segmentation, cohort analysis, funnel optimization, and growth levers, with a track record of using those metrics to inform prioritization and drive execution.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools to accelerate product discovery, improve decision quality, and enhance product development workflows, with evidence of applying AI beyond basic or surface-level use.
- Experience taking products or features from inception through maturity, including navigating the ambiguity of early-stage definition and the driving execution to scale what works..
- Proven ability to translate complex, multi-stakeholder problems into clear product decisions, and drive those decisions through execution, with the communication skills to bring executives, technical partners, and cross-functional teams along.
- Strong command of agile development practices, with experience working in continuous delivery environments and iterating rapidly based on data and customer feedback.
- Experience operating in ambiguous problem spaces, creating clarity, and driving momentum without fully defined requirements or direction.
- Genuine curiosity about and connection to the onX Hunt customer, whether through lived experience as an outdoor enthusiast or a demonstrated ability to deeply immerse in and advocate for a specific customer community.

HOW YOU’LL BE COMPENSATED
onX is committed to compensating all employees fairly and equitably for their contributions. For this position, applicants can expect to make between $143,000 to $179,000 upon hire. The pay range will vary based on experience, skills, certifications, and education among other factors as required in the job description. In addition, full-time onX employees are eligible for a grant of common share options with a vesting schedule and a potential annual bonus of 10% based on company performance.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
onX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will contribute to meaningful, real-world outcomes that have a lasting impact for customers and the business. In this role, you’ll focus on onX’s Core Viewer cross-platform map rendering engine as part of the Map Viewer team, supporting map rendering for all onX verticals. You’ll take ownership of your work, collaborate closely with partners across the organization, and help move initiatives forward in an environment where priorities evolve, learning is celebrated, and you’re encouraged to keep stretching your skills. This role will report to the team's Engineering Manager.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Essential Job Duties & Functions
- You will write C++, Swift and Kotlin, leveraging OpenGL and Metal
- You help develop a 3D map viewing SDK for mobile and web.
- Build reliability and performance tracking tools to monitor the map engine in production
- Serve as a map API subject matter expert for vertical application developers
- Optimize the rendering, culling, and spatial positioning algorithms that drive the map’s visual presentation
- Set up dependency/artifact / build pipeline to create consumable dependencies for iOS, Android and web (Swift Package Manager, Android Libraries).
- Integrate automated testing and performance measurement into the Core Viewer CI pipeline for all platforms
- Look for opportunities to embed AI as a repeatable co-pilot in daily workflows by integrating experimentation into real work, and continuously refining its use with sound judgment and validation.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience shipping and maintaining production code
- At least one (1) year of experience was focused on 3D map rendering (WebGL, OpenGL, Vulcan, Metal and/or DirectX) and at least (3) years of experience with mobile development.
- Fundamentals of graphics programming, including the Graphics Pipeline
- Experience with culling, clipping, and spatial partitioning algorithms. Quad- or oct-trees is a plus
- Concurrency and multithreading for network requests and computation
- Experience with protocol buffers
- Experience with working with analytics data, BigQuery or a similar big data query language
- Knowledge of scene graphs
- A strong computer science foundation

Spanning these levels, applicants can expect to make between $148,000 to $182,000 upon hire. The pay range will vary based on experience, skills, certifications, and education among other factors as required in the job description. In addition, full-time onX employees are eligible for a grant of common share options with a vesting schedule and a potential annual bonus of 10% based on company performance.

We are looking for a Data Scientist who views machine learning as a product, not just a research project. You will be a foundational member of our AI team, responsible for designing, building, and deploying sophisticated models that solve complex business problems. You aren't just an expert in XGBoost or Transformers; you are an expert in building the pipelines that make these models reliable, scalable, and impactful.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Essential Job Duties & Functions
- End-to-End Model Development: Design and implement the full ML lifecycle—from exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering to model selection, tuning, and validation.
- GCP Architecture: Leverage the full Google Cloud AI suite (Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub) to build robust, cloud-native ML solutions.
- MLOps & Engineering: Implement CI/CD for machine learning (CT - Continuous Training) to ensure models remain performant in production environments.
- Strategic Leadership: Partner with stakeholders to translate ambiguous business challenges into technical roadmaps. Mentor junior scientists and advocate for best practices in code quality and experiment tracking.
- Look for opportunities to embed AI as a repeatable co-pilot in daily workflows by integrating experimentation into real work, and continuously refining its use with sound judgment and validation.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 5+ years in a professional Data Science role with a track record of deploying models at scale.
- Proficiency in Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Looker. Experience with Kubeflow is a major plus.
- Expert-level Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow), Spark, and advanced SQL.
- Deep understanding of statistics and ML theory (e.g., Gradient Descent, Bias-Variance tradeoff, Bayesian inference).
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes, specifically using dbt.
- A strong curiosity for exploring new technologies, including AI

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
onX is seeking an experienced Product Content Data Operations Leader to build and scale the systems, processes, and teams that power how product content moves from source to customer experience.
At onX, “content” refers to the structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data that powers our products—such as mapping, geospatial, land ownership, trails, access points, recreation information, and other adventure-relevant datasets that help people navigate and understand the outdoors.
This leader will own the operational backbone of product content: the workflows, tools, governance, and quality systems that ensure content is sourced, processed, validated, and delivered reliably into our products.
This role is responsible for defining and scaling the content operations model and content programs for the company, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure that our content systems are efficient, scalable, and aligned with the needs of the product roadmap.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience managing large content or data ecosystems within technology products. They understand how operational rigor, automation, and strong governance unlock faster product innovation while maintaining data quality and trust. They also have an understanding of how mapping and geospatial data work and can power the product experience.
This role will also play a key role in evolving how we incorporate automation, AI, and potentially community-driven data into our content pipeline over time.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Essential Job Duties & Functions
Own the operational system for product content
- Define and lead the operational strategy for how product content is sourced, processed, validated, and delivered into onX products.
- Establish scalable workflows, governance models, prioritization frameworks, and operational frameworks that support content quality, reliability, and speed to product.
Build and lead the content operations organization
- Lead and develop a team responsible for content operations and business processes, including content analysts, curation specialists, and quality reviewers.
- Build organizational structure, capabilities, and operating rhythms that support scale and operational excellence.
Design scalable content platforms and processes
- Partner with Engineering and Data Engineering to design and evolve systems for content ingestion, processing, transformation, and delivery.
- Ensure that content workflows integrate cleanly with product development and release cycles.
Drive operational rigor and quality
- Define content quality standards, validation processes, and governance models that maintain trust in onX data.
- Implement monitoring, reporting, and feedback loops to ensure content readiness and product reliability.
Scale content operations through automation and AI
- Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows across ingestion, tagging, validation, and review.
- Understand leveraging AI and machine learning tools to improve efficiency, data quality, and operational scalability.
Enable new product experiences through content
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders to translate emerging content opportunities into scalable operational systems.
- Ensure the content ecosystem supports evolving product capabilities and new customer experiences.
Evolve the company’s proprietary data programs
- Oversee programs that contribute to onX’s proprietary content advantage, including partnerships, datasets, and emerging content sources.
- Explore opportunities to incorporate community or user-generated data into the content ecosystem in a structured and scalable way.
Measure and continuously improve the system
- Define and track operational metrics related to content throughput, quality, coverage, and reliability.
- Use data and user insights to continuously refine content workflows and operational performance
- Look for opportunities to embed AI as a repeatable co-pilot in daily workflows by integrating experimentation into real work, and continuously refining its use with sound judgment and validation.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 12+ years of operations leadership experience, including 4+ years driving content operations, data operations, and process management, and 5+ years leading and managing teams within scaling technology organizations.
- Experience working with data-intensive products.
- Demonstrated success in implementing BPM frameworks and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with workflow management systems, content curation and review platforms, data QA tools, and automation and AI solutions.
- A strong curiosity for exploring new technologies, including AI
