ABOUT THE JOB
Owens is currently seeking an experienced commercial project sales executive to support and expand our existing customer base in the greater Minneapolis, MN area. This position requires previous experience in an HVAC sales roll along with general estimating and basic design knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical systems. We are looking for an energetic, self-driven, and goal-oriented individual to develop repair and replacement proposals and turn-key solutions for commercial and industrial clientele. The right individual will be empowered to develop long-term relationships and maintain partnerships with the customer. This position offers a generous salary along with a lucrative commission structure, with an income potential easily over six figures for those who have the desire and drive to succeed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within an assigned sales territory.
Traveling within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.
Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers.
Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to drive sales.
Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales.
Researching competitors' products and pricing as well as market conditions.
Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training workshops, and industry events.
Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales.
Solid communication skills with ability to work well in a team environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field is preferred, but strong consideration given to previous experience in this roll.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Strong consultative sales skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Detail-oriented.

The Broadcast Engineer Lead is responsible for shaping system design decisions, defining local engineering standards, and leading complex projects that directly impact station operations.
