Performance Marketing Manager - Wellos

RVO Health is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager who wants to help drive our mission of health and wellbeing for everyone.
Within this role, you will be responsible for driving enrollments with B2B2C acquisition marketing strategies for our Wellos product, focusing on promoting the clinical value to prospective members, healthcare providers, employer clients and other stakeholders. Key responsibilities include creating strategy, messaging, collateral, and campaigns, analyzing campaign results, conducting market research, supporting sales, and ensuring brand consistency and compliance. The role requires a blend of data proficiency, clinical understanding and marketing expertise to drive product adoption, engagement, and business growth.
Within this role, you will be responsible for strategizing and executing acquisition campaigns in payer and partner channels, primarily through email. You’ll work closely with Product, Marketing, Tech, Finance, and Operations to pull together a compelling and data-driven plan, owning results and projections for marketing-driven enrollments.You’ll also work closely with the broader marketing and product teams to identify white space for revenue opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have experience marketing in a clinical business, hospital, healthcare network, or other clinical setting, as well as familiarity with best practices, rules and regulations for clinical marketing, with success in driving new patients or adoption to clinical approaches. This person will direct innovative acquisition strategies by telling our story in a compelling way that drives new clinical program enrollments. They will have a passion for member experience, and a unique knack for testing new approaches to reach new members in a competitive market. They will be creative, with a keen eye for detail, process and analytics to translate data-driven insights into tangible marketing strategies for the clinical sector.

What You’ll Do
- Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive product-specific marketing strategies to drive growth and engagement through strategic briefs, presentations, and plans for end-to-end campaign execution, readout, and collaboration with partners.
- Campaign Management: Own multi-channel, top and mid-funnel enrollment-driving marketing campaigns while maintaining brand standards, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing the approval process for all marketing materials.
- Budget Management and Projection: Own and share campaign results, aligning pacing and actuals to projections, tracking opportunities and misses to ensure business alignment and growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Influence creative, research, analysis, and project management teams to ensure the campaign vision aligns with the strategic approach.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders across RVO Health, Optum, and UnitedHealthcare to align on member marketing strategy, goals, materials and audience approaches.
- Email Campaign Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in email campaign testing, learning, and robust analysis skills.
- Messaging and Positioning: Craft compelling clinical and technical messaging to emphasize product value and establish differentiation from competitors.
- Content Development: Create diverse marketing materials, including emails, toolkits, websites, presentations, and digital content tailored for top and mid-funnel audiences.
- Data-Driven Marketing: Utilize data, insights and tools to research, develop, execute, measure and report on campaign performance, applying key learnings to inform future planning
What We’re Looking For
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in consumer marketing, specifically must have experience in a clinical marketing business
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously, as the accountable enrollment strategy owner
- Expertise with top of and mid funnel marketing in traditional and digital marketing channels
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization for cross-functional collaboration: Partner with sales, product, clinical, and legal teams to ensure alignment and support business objectives.
- Strong experience in data/analytics, ie Microsoft Excel, Amplitude, Looker, Google Analytics and leveraging data for testing and segmentation:
- Strong understanding of the health marketing/advertising landscape or or another highly regulated industry
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Creative and strategic thinking skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills

What We’re Looking For

Core technical areas:
- Generative AI & LLMs — experience building applications with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, LangChain, or similar tooling
- Evaluation & Measurement — designing and building pipelines to assess AI/LLM output quality, including automated annotation, human-in-the-loop review, and defining metrics that reflect real health outcomes
- Clinical NLP & Claims Data — extracting structured insights from unstructured clinical text and/or working with medical claims data to understand patient journeys, diagnoses, and treatment patterns

Preferred qualifications:
- PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., CS, Stats, or Physics) or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of industry experience, specifically focused on shipping production-grade ML/AI solutions in complex domains like healthcare
- Strong Python skills; experience deploying models in production environments
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and NLP techniques (Transformers, LSTMs)
- Experience with vector databases, embeddings, or retrieval-augmented generation
- Hands-on experience with healthcare data (claims, EHR, or clinical text) is a strong plus
- Demonstrated ability to move from research to production — not just notebooks

Compensation:
The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs. The Clinical Trial Manager (CTM) is responsible for the oversight and management of all clinical operational activities at the trial and site level. Job Responsibilities:
- Participates in clinical research activities including management of clinical study sites, management of study documentation, vendor management, and completion of project management tasks
- Develops clinical trial timelines, enrollment projections, and instructional materials in support of trial execution, including project, communication, monitoring, recruitment, risk mitigation, and contingency plans
- Participates in and leads process improvement activities within the department and cross functionally, including SOP development
- Conducts study start-up activities including the development of protocols, informed consent forms, source document worksheets, training presentations, etc.
- Reviews site regulatory documents (informed consents, IRB approvals, research agreements) to ensure compliance with study requirements and GCPs

Position Overview
The Diagnostics Hematology Specialist will contribute to Adaptive’s overall sales objective by utilizing their Hematology / Oncology background, relationships, and successful sales experiences to perform assigned sales-related activities to exceed sales goals. This sales role is primarily responsible for the sales growth of all their targeted accounts in the assigned geography. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing the territory and administrative requirements efficiently to drive product sales. This role will act as the primary customer contact for physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals with products, services, and information to enable customers to use and prescribe Adaptive’s portfolio of products safely and effectively.
Key Accounts for this position are generally in the North Central, and examples include: Minneapolis, Des Moines, Sioux Falls.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Demonstrate clinical/disease and product expertise and deliver strategic customer education to ensure appropriate patient identification and ClonoSEQ utilization.
- Work cross functionally with Internal partners and stakeholders to build and implement strong business plans.
- Holistically support and manage territory accounts by creating relationships with physicians, allied healthcare professionals, and business stakeholders.
- Promotes Adaptive’s diagnostics products through calls on targeted physicians in assigned territory to implement sales, marketing and patient support programs to get and keep indicated patients on our products.

Position Requirements (Education, Experience, Other)
- A. / B.S. + 5 years of related experience such as previous pharmaceutical, diagnostic or medical device sales experience.
- 3 + years’ experience in hematology or Oncology, biotech, life science or diagnostic sales Oncology lab service background a plus.
- Strong technical background in molecular biology, genomics, next generation sequencing or immunology a plus.
- Must have a self-starting, self-managing independent work style. Dedicated to making customer service a priority.
- Must be results oriented with a strategic focus on sales.
- Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
