First National Bank of America is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Software Developer to join our team in East Lansing, Michigan. You will collaborate with our business unit representatives to create and modify general financial applications to meet the needs of our internal clients. Our applications are heavily dependent on our database design and the logic that supports our database operations. A strong background in SQL is a must. Our ideal candidate has at least three years of professional experience in software development.
Location: East Lansing, MI (On-Site) | Type: Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of scalable enterprise applications across the full stack
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
- Write and maintain SQL Server queries and stored procedures in support of application development
- Drive best practices in RESTful API design and ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems
- Champion the adoption of AI-assisted development tools to accelerate productivity and elevate code quality across the team
- Contribute to sprint planning, technical roadmaps, and architectural decision-making
- Identify and resolve technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities proactively
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on software development experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity
- Deep expertise in Java development, including Spring Boot and RESTful API design
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including deep expertise in at least one modern framework (Vue.js, React, or Angular) and a solid understanding of modern ES standards, async patterns, and front-end performance optimization
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, and basic schema management
- Demonstrated ability to mentor developers and lead technical initiatives within an agile team
- Proven track record of delivering clean, maintainable, well-documented code at scale
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve development workflows and code quality
- Experience in banking or financial services is a plus and will be given favorable consideration

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Review service events for compliance with ABC, court, and customer requirements
- Provide education and instruction to process servers regarding service requirements

- Update and analyze process server review records
- Perform DCA required audits of process server logbooks
- Audit process server service event histories
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 6-12 months relevant experience preferred

Role Summary:
The Senior Director, Marketplace Strategy sets the direction for how jobs reach the right process servers quickly, how the network gets paid in ways that sustain performance, and how ABC Legal builds a marketplace that is faster, more reliable, and more competitive over time.
This is a senior leadership role at the intersection of supply economics, behavioral design, and operational strategy. You won’t just manage systems — you’ll define the logic behind them and build the team’s capability to run a high-performing marketplace. You’re comfortable with ambiguity, energized by complex problems, and know how to move forward without waiting for perfect information.
Reports to: VP, Process Server Network
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead marketplace strategy across dispatch, pricing, and incentives to improve speed, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Own job routing and allocation logic, optimizing for geography, urgency, and performance while balancing fairness and quality
- Establish and evolve pay and pricing models that support both customer competitiveness and sustainable earnings for process servers
- Design and manage incentive programs that drive key behaviors such as speed, accuracy, and consistency
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to translate strategy into scalable systems and tools
- Own core marketplace performance metrics (e.g., utilization, time-to-placement, completion rates, cost efficiency) and drive continuous improvement
- Identify inefficiencies across the marketplace and implement solutions that improve performance without eroding network trust
- Lead experimentation efforts, including pilots and A/B tests, to evaluate and scale changes in dispatch, pricing, and incentives
- Partner with data teams to strengthen forecasting, coverage planning, and marketplace insights
- Ensure clear communication of marketplace logic and changes across internal teams and to the broader network
Qualifications:
- Experience leading strategy in complex environments such as marketplaces, gig economy platforms, logistics, or similar systems
- Strong understanding of supply and demand dynamics, pricing strategy, dispatch or routing logic, and incentive design
- Demonstrated ability to drive measurable business outcomes and influence user behavior
- Fluency in unit economics and financial modeling, with the ability to evaluate trade-offs across cost, quality, and speed
- Experience designing and running experiments or pilots with clear hypotheses and measurable outcomes
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, and Operations teams
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and setting direction without fully defined roadmaps
- Strategic thinker with a bias toward action and strong problem-solving skills
- Experience building or scaling systems in early or growth-stage environments preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts and strategies

Your Impact
As a Technical Account Manager, you will be a key player in deploying and supporting Axon’s software solutions directly within law enforcement agencies. You will leverage your expertise in Axon products and services to provide high-level technical support, manage complex deployments, and foster strong customer relationships. You will serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned agencies, handling major technical issues, driving software adoption, and acting as an advocate for the customer within Axon. What You’ll Do
Location: Remote with 80% travel to agency locations in the US
Reports To: Manager of Technical Account Management Services
- Lead Technical Support: Act as the main technical liaison for assigned agencies, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues with Axon's products and services.
- Drive Deployments: Collaborate with deployment teams to design, configure, test, and implement Axon software solutions, ensuring successful rollouts.
- Manage Crisis Situations: Respond quickly to critical technical issues, acting as a crisis manager to restore functionality and minimize impact on agency operations.
- Advocate for Customers: Represent agency needs and feedback internally at Axon, influencing product development and service improvements.
- Promote Best Practices: Guide agencies through change management processes, identifying pain points and providing solutions to optimize software usage and adoption.

What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in a technical account management or similar customer-facing role, preferably within the public safety or software sectors.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in deploying SaaS solutions, including configuring, testing, and troubleshooting complex software applications.
- Customer Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for customers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, sales, customer support) to deliver high-quality support and product improvements.
