Key Responsibilities:
● Architect and design scalable, high-performance software solutions in alignment with project requirements and company standards.
● Optimise existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
● Actively engage in hands-on coding and development, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
● Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicating technical concepts and project updates.
● Provide technical leadership, guiding and mentoring junior engineers in the team.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
● 5-8 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, focusing on scalable system design and development.
● Strong experience in backend server development with proficiency in a modern programming language such as Go, TypeScript, or Python. Familiarity with additional backend languages like Java, C#, or Rust is advantageous.
● Experience with Node.js, Docker, Cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related technologies.
● Proficiency in Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration platforms, including OpenShift, Nomad, or Docker Swarm.
● Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
● Proven expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or similar, ensuring efficient, scalable, and secure deployment workflows.
● Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, and guiding teams.
● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
● Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Senior AWS GovCloud Engineer who will be responsible for designing, delivering, and managing AWS GovCloud-based IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS type solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of configuring AWS GovCloud services and common enterprise software technologies in accordance with FedRAMP, NIST, and other security requirements guides. The candidate will be responsible for interfacing directly with customers, liaising with product vendors, and leading junior engineers in the DevSecOps process.
