We are seeking a skilled DevOps / Cloud Engineer to join the team responsible for managing core network platform - OSS. In this role, you will design, deploy, and operate cloud and hybrid infrastructure, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and take ownership of running third-party vendor software in our environment. You will bridge the gap between infrastructure and application operations, ensuring our systems are scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-efficient. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools

• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability tooling to enable proactive issue detection and resolution
• Analyze cloud performance metrics and resource utilization to continuously optimize system efficiency and control costs
• Partner closely with internal and vendor teams to align on cloud infrastructure deployment and integration practices - bridging code and underlying infrastructure
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to teammates, driving engineering excellence 

Qualifications 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.

Experience:

A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or site reliability engineering roles.

• Public Cloud Expertise (AWS, Azure or GCP): Proven hands-on experience with public cloud services including compute, networking, databases, K8s, IAM, monitoring
• Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in Terraform or AWS CDK for building and managing infrastructure at scale
• CI/CD: Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
• Containerization & Orchestration: Solid experience with Docker and K8s for application deployment and management

In this role, you will act as the primary owner of OSS workflow automation development and test engineering. Your primary focus will be to build, test, document and maintain automation processes executed within the OSS platform - covering network operations, service assurance, reporting, and partner integration workflows. • Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites that validate automation workflows under both nominal and fault/edge-case conditions
• Execute test plans, document results, track defects, and drive resolution in collaboration with all involved internal teams

The Full-Stack Developer will work on RxNorm. RxNorm is a standardized naming system for U.S. prescription and over-the-counter drugs, providing "normalized" names (ingredient + strength + form) and unique codes to resolve naming confusion between different systems, enabling clear drug identification and data sharing in EHRs and research. It links brand names to generics, helping computers and people understand the same medication unambiguously.

T-Rex is looking for a fully cleared HPC Software Engineer 3 to work on a program in the Fort Meade, Maryland area in support of the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities:

• The HPC Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, deploys, documents, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software for HPC (high performance computing) systems based upon documented requirements.  Critical for an HSE is either a very strong math background and/or a very strong computer hardware background. One or both of these is required in order for the HSE to be able to understand the intricacies of the HPC architecture that is being targeted by the software being developed, or to understand the complex mathematical principles which underlie the software applications being developed. The HPC systems might include, but are not limited to, processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and systems which incorporate data repositories, data transport services, and application and systems development and monitoring. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Open Source Software (OSS) and/or Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS)/Government Off-The- Shelf (GOTS) software in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components. Working knowledge of Configuration Management (CM) tools and Web Services implementation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as an HSE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  OR Master’s degree in Math, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as an HSE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  OR Nine (9) years of experience as an HSE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
