We are seeking a skilled DevOps / Cloud Engineer to join the team responsible for managing core network platform - OSS. In this role, you will design, deploy, and operate cloud and hybrid infrastructure, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and take ownership of running third-party vendor software in our environment. You will bridge the gap between infrastructure and application operations, ensuring our systems are scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-efficient. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Deploy, operate, and maintain cloud environments across multi-account and multi-region AWS architectures
• Deploy, configure, and operate vendor-supplied software within our cloud/hybrid environment, serving as the operational owner for these applications
• Coordinate with vendors on installation, upgrades, patching, and configuration changes, translating vendor requirements into infrastructure and deployment solutions
• Ensure vendor applications meet our availability, performance, and security standards through own monitoring and incident management processes
• Own the security, availability, and reliability of infrastructure, applying best practices for IAM, encryption, and vulnerability management
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines that automate testing, security scanning, and deployment workflows
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks to eliminate manual toil
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability tooling to enable proactive issue detection and resolution
• Analyze cloud performance metrics and resource utilization to continuously optimize system efficiency and control costs
• Partner closely with internal and vendor teams to align on cloud infrastructure deployment and integration practices - bridging code and underlying infrastructure
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to teammates, driving engineering excellence 

Qualifications 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.

Experience:

A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or site reliability engineering roles.

• Public Cloud Expertise (AWS, Azure or GCP): Proven hands-on experience with public cloud services including compute, networking, databases, K8s, IAM, monitoring
• Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in Terraform or AWS CDK for building and managing infrastructure at scale
• CI/CD: Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
• Containerization & Orchestration: Solid experience with Docker and K8s for application deployment and management
• Hybrid & Multi-Environment Operations: Experience operating workloads across cloud and on-premises or hybrid environments
• Third-Party Software Operations: Experience deploying and managing vendor-provided applications in cloud environments, including coordination of upgrades, patching, and configuration
• Databases: Hands-on experience with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL/RDS) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB, Redis/Elasticache) databases
• Messaging & Queuing: Familiarity with message-driven systems such as SQS, RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation tasks 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• AWS or Azure/GCP certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)
• Skills in remote debugging and troubleshooting distributed systems
• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001)
• Experience with observability platforms (e.g. Prometheus/Grafana, ELK)
• English proficiency at B2 level or above; able to collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams
• Experience in software development is a plus
• Background in telecom, satellite, or other high-availability, mission-critical environments is a plus

Position Overview

We are seeking an OSS Test & Automation Engineer to join the team responsible for developing our core network platform – OSS. In this role, you will act as the primary owner of OSS workflow automation development and test engineering. Your primary focus will be to build, test, document and maintain automation processes executed within the OSS platform - covering network operations, service assurance, reporting, and partner integration workflows. At the same time, you will tightly collaborate with internal Service Assurance and Service Delivery teams to gather requirements, transfer knowledge about the developed automation processes, and receive feedback about the required improvements and changes. You are not a pure QA resource since you are an automation developer who also ensures what is built is verifiably correct and operates as expected by the end users. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows and orchestration scripts executed within our own OSS platform, covering network operations, fault management, service assurance, reporting, and inventory
• Own and grow the automation backlog - identify manual, error-prone, or repetitive operational processes as candidates for automation, estimate effort, and drive items through to production delivery
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites that validate automation workflows under both nominal and fault/edge-case conditions
• Execute test plans, document results, track defects, and drive resolution in collaboration with all involved internal teams
• Produce clear test documentation of test plans, test cases, test reports, and coverage summaries
• Cooperate with internal Service Assurance and Service Delivery teams by fostering knowledge transfer, gathering requirements, and jointly identifying next steps in developing new automated workflows and processes
• Proactively identify automation failures, performance degradations, or reliability issues and drive root-cause analysis and remediation
• Continuously improve automation reliability, coverage, and maintainability based on operational feedback and incident learnings
• Act as first line contact and support line for internal Service Assurance and Service Delivery concerning OSS automated processes and workflows already introduced into production

Qualifications 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, telecommunications or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.

Experience & Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in automation engineering, test engineering, or a combined software/QA role, preferably in telecom, network operations, or OSS/BSS systems.
• Proven experience designing and building automation workflows, orchestration scripts, or operational automation pipelines — not just test scripts
• Solid proficiency in Python or any other scripting language and familiarity with modern test frameworks (e.g. pytest, Robot)
• Familiarity with at least one workflow orchestration or BPM tool (e.g. Camunda, Apache Airflow, Ansible, or similar)
• Ability to query and manipulate data in SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Strong command of test strategy design, test case development, test automation frameworks, and defect lifecycle management
• Familiarity with telecom OSS concepts like FCAPS, TMF eTOM framework or similar operational support system concepts
• Practical exposure to network operations workflows and/or service assurance processes
• Working knowledge of NETCONF/YANG, SNMP, or TMF Open APIs as integration surfaces for automation workflows
• Familiarity with OSS platforms, NMS/EMS systems, or network simulation tools used for test environment setup
• Hands-on experience integrating automation with REST APIs and event-driven messaging systems (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
• Experience embedding quality gates and automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent)
• Practical experience with monitoring and logging tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or equivalent) for making automated workflows observable in production

We are looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer for Application Engineering. As a Sr Software Engineer on the Applications Engineer team, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team whose mission is to deliver real-world applications and value from the leap forward in computing enabled by quantum technology. 

We don't just build the world's best quantum computers - we apply cutting edge quantum computing tools to real world problems. Until now, our team of Applications Scientists have been building prototypes, working closely with our customers. Our new department, Applications Engineering, will ultimately help transform proven quantum computing use-cases pioneered by our scientists into production applications, making those innovations available to more people and businesses by packaging and deploying these tools as SaaS applications.

But first, we must mature existing proof-of-concept quantum code into production grade applications. As a hands-on team lead for a new engineering team, you will work on enhancing developer experience (DevEx) by applying best practices to research-grade code. You will also set up CI / CD pipelines, software packing tools, and pre/post flight tests for new algorithms as they go into deployment. Where possible you will also be in charge of optimizing and parallelizing traditional algorithms, to reduce pre-processing and post-processing workloads. You will spearhead a new team taking newly invented quantum applications, and turning them into well defined modules of reliable SaaS applications. Think of it as being a forward-deployed engineer for quantum computing applications; the strongest candidates will be generalists with wide-ranging interests.

The right engineer will be comfortable working on refining chemistry simplification via Quantum Computing tool one quarter, and turning a novel quantum topology solver into a service the next - and love pair programming with scientists. They’ll bring the quantum expertise; you bring the deep and broad experience in classical programming.

We are looking for a proven TPM with leadership and expertise in silicon device development that will  focus on the Quantum Processor Devices. You will own the new product programme execution for silicon device development within our quantum computing roadmap, will be responsible for the successful execution of new product development programs: translating complex technical work into clear plans, measurable milestones, and predictable delivery. As a TPM, you’ll be at the centre of a cross-functional team, working day-to-day with physicists and engineers, and partnering closely with external suppliers and internal stakeholders; to ensure work progresses with pace, clarity, and high attention to detail.

You will be working directly with the lead TPM and serve as a QPU cross functional program liaison with other technical and non-technical organizations across the company. You’ll create and run the operating rhythm that keeps teams aligned and leaders informed: building delivery plans, tracking dependencies, surfacing risks early, and producing decision-ready reporting that senior stakeholders can trust. Responsibilities will also include project planning, coordination, risk management, and stakeholder management. When priorities shift or technical issues emerge, you’ll drive structure into ambiguity; clarifying scope, coordinating trade-offs, and pushing problems to resolution while continuously improving how we execute across the hardware lifecycle.

• Lead silicon device development programmes (or workstreams), owning scope, schedule, resources, budget, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment using best-practice PM tools.
• Translating progress, risks, and trade-offs into clear, executive-ready reporting for senior stakeholders. 
• Drive cross-functional execution across physics, engineering, and partner teams; identify blockers early and take issues to closure with robust risk mitigation and contingency planning.

You’d be a good fit with:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 13+ years’ experience as a Technical Program or Programme Manager delivering complex hardware programmes, ideally in chip design, silicon devices, or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Comfortable operating in a highly technical environment, and being a technically fluent TPM who can bring structure, pace, and precision to complex silicon device programmes.
