The Enterprise Engineering team builds and maintains the internal tools and platforms that power Roku's business operations, from accounting and finance systems to partner management and content operations. We work at the intersection of technology and business, delivering full-stack web applications that enable Roku to operate at scale. About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep backend expertise in TypeScript/Node.js to join our Enterprise Engineering Web Applications team. You will design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs that support Roku's first-party enterprise tools with a focus on the accounting and finance domain. You'll also contribute to frontend development using modern frameworks and own end-to-end quality through test automation.
This is an AI-first engineering role. You will be expected to integrate AI tools and agentic workflows into your daily development process, using them to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and build smarter internal tools.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and implement backend services and APIs in TypeScript/Node.js
- Build and maintain full-stack enterprise applications supporting accounting, finance, and business operations
- Architect solutions that are reliable, maintainable, and scalable for internal business-critical workflows
- Own end-to-end test automation by building and maintaining E2E test suites
- Collaborate with finance and accounting stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Use AI coding tools (Claude, Copilot, OpenCode, etc.) as core parts of your development workflow
- Build and improve internal developer tooling, automation, and agentic workflows
- Participate in technical design discussions, and mentoring of team members
We're Excited If You Have
- 7+ years of relevant software development experience
- Strong backend development expertise in TypeScript and Node.js, with Java and Python experience nice-to-have
- Experience building and shipping production web applications with modern frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data modeling
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience in a globally distributed team

About the team
Roku's Web Engineering team is responsible for the development and support of Roku's web application framework, design system, a host of consumer-facing web properties, web applications and an ecosystem of web services tied to content management systems, automated publishing tools, internationalization/localization, deployments and build tools, and much more. This team spends most of its time working on customer focused features that improve the user experience, from content discovery and search to Roku pay and subscription to embedded software and firmware, and much more. About the role
The Senior Software Engineer will be contributing extensively to our embedded UI development, algorithm implementation for complex features to make it more user intuitive and underlying architecture. You will be working closely with product management to understand new features or extending current features for international market needs, development using modern C++ libraries/frameworks, scripting language and integration of third-party code. You will also be engaged in developing tools which can help larger development community within Roku. A proven track record of shipping high-quality software on embedded platforms is essential. What you’ll be doing
- Develop core features of the Roku Channel app and Roku OS.
- Work closely with Product Development, UI/UX design, Platform Services, and Release Management teams to contribute to our application development. Investigate, diagnose and resolve issues.

- Experience developing UI applications using popular frameworks
- Must have strong embedded C++ experience
- Strong experience in Typescript
- Experience writing functional integration and unit tests.
- A good understanding of Core OS concepts like memory management and multi-threading

About the role
We're looking for an experienced Test Engineer to help us enhance the consumer experience for millions of visitors to the UK's leading automotive marketplace. This role combines both manual and automation testing, playing a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. Our Test Engineers work in cross-functional workstreams with developers, product leads, and designers, so you will be collaborating in a team with diverse skill sets and personalities. Our teams work together to develop insight-driven, market-leading digital products and services. You will curate a robust test automation suite to support the continuous delivery of our microservices and micro frontends. These include UI, integration, contract and smoke tests in Typescript or Java. You’ll also promote good testing practices and incorporate improvements into existing processes within the wider Autotrader engineering community. Together we share insights, learn from each other and overcome common challenges through regular showcases and feedback sessions.

What we’re looking for
- Testing experience in both manual and automation techniques
- Well versed with cross browser and cross platform testing techniques

Overview
The responsibilities of our Platform team include building and maintaining all backend services, including, but not limited to, payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text to speech, and external APIs.
This is a key role and ideal for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, is passionate about making product decisions, and has experience building great user experiences that delight users.

What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API, internal APIs like Payment, Subscription, Auth and Consumption Tracking, ensuring they meet business and scalability requirements
- Oversee the full backend API landscape, enhancing and optimizing for performance and maintainability
- Collaborate on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration needs for enterprise clients
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience
An Ideal Candidate Should Have
- Proven experience in backend development: TS/Node (required)
- Direct experience with GCP and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers

We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to contribute to the design and development of end-to-end product experiences, spanning backend services, APIs, and modern web applications.
This role sits within the Platform Application Framework (PAF) team — a foundational platform that provides shared application patterns, reusable components, and developer frameworks used across Anaplan. PAF enables teams to build consistent, scalable, and high-quality applications by standardising how services are developed, integrated, and operated. It plays a critical role in improving developer productivity, ensuring reliability, and accelerating delivery across the platform.
You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to build user-facing features and platform capabilities that power enterprise-scale applications.

Role Overview
In this Principal role, you will lead the design, build and operational excellence of core platform capabilities covering backend services, modern frontend applications, and critical platform infrastructure or APIs. We’re looking for Principal Full Stack Engineers to join us! Our technology teams combine a diverse set of technologies to meet the needs of our users, handling millions of requests a day across over 600 systems. We build these systems with industry standard frameworks and tools, such as React and Angular on the front end and Java, Spring Boot, Cloud SQL and Apache Kafka on the back end. - Strong experience working across the stack, from designing scalable back-end systems to developing responsive front-end applications

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer – Integrations who will take technical ownership of building and scaling integrations between Mark43’s core platform and mission‑critical third‑party systems. You’ll lead the design, development, and implementation of robust APIs, data pipelines, and messaging layers, ensuring seamless operational data flow for emergency dispatch and response systems. This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in our Manchester office to support strong team collaboration.
What You’ll Do
- Lead full lifecycle development of integrations that connect the Mark43 platform with external systems such as 911 call centers, state databases, evidence systems, and other key services.
- Drive architectural decisions and ensure scalable, maintainable solutions across REST APIs, message queues, and event‑driven workflows.

What You’ll Do
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help lead our AI-enabled engineering initiative. You’ll work at the frontier of AI and software development, experimenting with agentic workflows and shaping how AI tools are integrated into every layer of our engineering stack.
This isn’t just about using AI to autocomplete code—it’s about designing and orchestrating systems of AI agents that can plan, write, review, test, and deploy software collaboratively. In essence, you’ll play a role akin to a tech lead for a team of intelligent coding agents.
You will:
- Design multi-agent systems with coding-focused agents (e.g., code writer, reviewer, tester, deployer)
- Write the prompts, logic, and scaffolding that guide each agent’s behavior
- Handle tool use, like enabling agents to access the file system, test runners, version control, and internal APIs
- Evaluate and refine agents’ output, performance, collaboration patterns, and feedback loops
If you were on the team last week, you might have:
- Prototyped a new coding assistant workflow using open-source LLMs and internal knowledge bases
- Led an architecture discussion on agentic build pipelines or automated PR generation
- Collaborated with a cross-functional team to build a fast, AI-powered interface for internal tooling
- Helped define the evaluation framework for AI contributions—accuracy, speed, and impact
- Mentored a teammate on combining TypeScript and AI tools to accelerate UI prototyping
- Explored best practices for safely and securely integrating generative AI into a public sector codebase
What You’ll Need
We’re looking for an experienced software engineer who is eager to build smarter systems by pairing technical expertise with emerging AI tools. You don’t need to be an AI researcher—but you do need hands-on experience applying generative AI tools to real-world development workflows.
You should have:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency with at least part of our stack: Java, TypeScript + React, and MySQL
- Extensive applied experience with AI-assisted development tooling—whether it’s Cursor, Windsurf, LLM APIs, codegen platforms, vector databases, agentic frameworks like LangChain, or custom-built systems
- A strong product mindset and interest in building for real-world impact
- A bias toward experimentation, iteration, and continuous learning
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and helping define best practices in a rapidly evolving space
