How you'll help us achieve it

As Risk and Compliance Lead, you’ll play a key role in maintaining operational integrity in a growing and dynamic environment. You will lead our field audit efforts in Mali while supporting internal control, compliance, and, on occasion, fraud operations.

You’ll be the go-to person on the ground to coordinate local execution of our global risk and compliance standards.

In this role, you'll;

Field Audit & Controls

• Supervise and coordinate field audit activities (agent audits, spot checks, reconciliations).
• Work with the field audit and agent ops teams to escalate and address deficiencies identified during audits.
• Monitor implementation of control measures and escalate any breaches or gaps.
• Support the rollout of internal control frameworks across business functions.

Risk & Compliance Support

• Assist with identifying and evaluating operational risks in coordination with functional teams.
• Monitor implementation of basic compliance requirements (e.g., KYC, agent onboarding controls).
• Participate in incident reviews and follow up on remediation actions.
• Support documentation and reporting on internal risk or compliance issues.
• Support AML and CFT Investigations in Mali, including submission of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to the Financial Intelligence Authority (FIA).
• Contribute to the implementation of the compliance program.
• Provide guidance, advice, and/or training and educational programs to improve business understanding of related laws and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct and respond to due diligence requests with our partners.

Fraud Support

The Role…

At Soho House, the Food and Beverage Admin Manager plays a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the food and beverage department. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing all administrative functions, including menu edits and implementation, walkout recovery, expense reports, SOP implementation and execution, vendor coordination and ensuring the business is optimized to its highest standards. The F&B Admin Manager works closely with the kitchen and service teams to streamline processes and ensure that daily operations run seamlessly. 

Main Duties…

• Serve as the Admin Manager for four days per week, with one day dedicated to cross-training and operational involvement to enhance business acumen and maintain a holistic understanding of the department.
• Oversee the rollout and execution of new menus, ensuring alignment with Soho House standards and guest expectations.
• Manage processes for addressing member walkouts, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Handle expense report requests and receipts, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to meet financial reporting requirements.
• Maintain and update the compendiums, ensuring all information is current and accessible to the team.
• Conduct bi-weekly audits of the Micros system to ensure menu accuracy and pricing compliance.
• Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring consistency in operations and service.
• Provide support to the House Trainer and General Manager (GM) in delivering training programs to staff, ensuring high standards of performance and development.
• Assist with site compliance, ensuring all regulatory requirements, health, and safety standards are met.
• Coordinate monthly department meetings by sending calendar invites, securing appropriate meeting spaces, and managing administrative tasks such as meeting minutes, sign-in sheets, and communication with the site payroll team to ensure accurate staff coding and attendance tracking.

People Support

• Maintain accurate employee rosters, role assignments, and certifications

• Serve as an administrative liaison between F&B leadership and People & Development

Pre‑Opening & Readiness

• Assist with pre‑opening administrative duties, including staffing confirmations and operational communications

Inventory & Vendor Comms

Communication

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar capacity

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Vendor Security Agent supports on-site security operations during active construction by controlling vendor access, monitoring personnel movement, and maintaining accountability of individuals, equipment, and materials on the property. This role is responsible for checking construction personnel in and out using a designated access management system, issuing temporary ID badges, and ensuring only authorized vendors are present on site. 

The Vendor Security Agent escorts vendors as required, enforces site security and safety procedures, and helps protect facilities and restricted areas throughout the construction phase. The position works closely with facilities, construction management, and security teams to maintain a secure work environment and respond to access issues or incidents as they arise. Accurate documentation, attention to detail, and consistent presence on site are critical to success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify construction vendors have approved access, required documentation, and signed NDAs prior to entry
• Check construction personnel in and out
• Monitor and control vendor entry and exit points during construction activities
• Escort vendors and contractors while on site and enforce security and safety rules
