Position: Senior Scientist in AI & Big Data Center

Location: Malaysia(Remote)/ Nanjing, China(Onsite)

Role & Responsibilities

• Be responsible for bioinformatics projects;
• Develop the web-based tools or standalone tools for synthetic biology, protein engineering and antibody engineering;
• Develop algorithms to assist customers in solving technical barriers;
• Data mining (including deep learning) and analysis on synthesis related data;

Qualifications

• PhD Degree in bioinformatics or deep learning, with at least three years of experience in algorithm/model development;
• Knowledgeable in the field of molecularbiology or protein;
• Proficiency in Python/Java/C++.
• Proficiency in Pytorch/Tensorflow.
• Preferable if the candidate has experience in natural language processing and large language model.
• Preferable if the candidate has experience in pre-trained language models and generative AI;
• Preferable if the candidate has experience in algorithm, software and pipeline development;
• Proactively participating in collaborative and innovative projects;
• Having a keen sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and good communication and teamwork skills.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Role Join Capco’s rapidly growing Data & Analytics team as an AI Governance Consultant. You’ll drive the development and implementation of responsible, ethical AI governance frameworks across some of the world’s leading financial institutions. This is your opportunity to influence how cutting-edge AI technologies are designed, adopted, and governed—bringing value, trust, and accountability to the forefront of digital innovation.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement AI governance frameworks including ethical policies, risk mitigation protocols, and compliance standards
• Advise clients on regulatory and legal frameworks including GDPR, CCPA, and the EU AI Act
• Define strategic AI governance roadmaps and business cases to enable scalable, responsible AI adoption
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and interviews to identify governance gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Review and enhance existing governance models to improve transparency, accountability, and compliance

What We’re Looking For

• At least 5 years’ experience in AI governance, data science, or a related field such as data strategy or digital transformation
• Strong understanding of AI lifecycle, data ethics, algorithmic bias, and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent ability to translate technical and regulatory insights into business-relevant guidance
• Proven experience engaging cross-functional teams across legal, compliance, tech, and business functions
• Ability to assess AI readiness and craft clear, actionable governance strategies

Bonus Points For

• Prior consulting experience in a top-tier firm or internal transformation role within Financial Services
• Familiarity with AI tools or platforms such as Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, or TensorFlow
• Hands-on experience implementing AI use cases in regulated environments
• Knowledge of frameworks like NIST AI RMF, ISO 38507, or DAMA DMBOK
• Relevant certifications in Responsible AI, AI Ethics, Risk Management, or Data Governance
