About the role

As the Performance Marketing Manager at IPG Mediabrands, you’ll play a key role in developing, managing, and executing strategic performance marketing campaigns across a diverse portfolio of clients. This role requires a dynamic leader who is hands-on with campaign execution, passionate about data, and skilled in translating business goals into impactful media outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Campaign Leadership

• Define and lead performance marketing strategies across key channels: SEM, social media, display, content discovery, mobile, and more.

• Collaborate closely with media planners to ensure alignment of performance strategies with overall campaign objectives.

• Tailor solutions based on client needs—both stated and unstated—and support seamless integration with agency teams.

• Set and manage acquisition and growth KPIs across performance channels.

• Continuously evaluate and adjust campaign strategies based on real-time performance data and KPIs.

• Champion the use of multi-touch attribution models to understand the full customer journey and optimize conversion pathways.

• Develop brand plans and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), tracking key campaign metrics and performance.

• Drive test-and-learn initiatives including A/B and multivariate testing to inform optimization and innovation.

Market & Product Insights

• Understand client businesses and internal product offerings in-depth.

• Monitor competitor activity to identify gaps and new opportunities.

• Leverage audience insights to improve targeting, segmentation, and engagement across platforms.

• Identify and explore emerging formats, platforms, and technologies to push campaign innovation.

Analytics & Reporting

• Promote a data-driven culture by embedding analytical thinking across the team.

• Translate data into actionable insights that enhance marketing effectiveness and business outcomes.

Client Servicing

• Act as a day-to-day performance marketing lead for clients, working closely with internal media planning and performance teams.

• Guide the team to proactively identify client challenges and offer innovative, performance-driven solutions.

Leadership & Team Development

• Oversee the performance marketing team, ensuring clarity of direction, timely delivery, and workload management.

• Keep the team informed and upskilled in the evolving digital ecosystem—tools, platforms, formats, and best practices.

• Support the Head of Performance in identifying and capturing organic growth opportunities.

• Inspire, coach, and motivate team members to bring fresh thinking and elevate client outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading a performance marketing team.

• Strong command of English—both written and verbal.

• Excellent communication, client engagement, and stakeholder management skills.

• Deep understanding of digital platforms, analytics, and performance optimization.

• An in-depth knowledge of WPP Media's approach to Search Engine Marketing/Social Media
• Helped to manage and regularly optimize key client accounts

• Implemented account optimization that have made a measurable impact to our client’s campaign performance
• Contribute to strategy building for a campaign
• Command in CROI, ROAS, CPS KPI based campaign

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Executive, Performance Marketing with a focus on platform activation in Social, Search, and Programmatic media. This role is crucial for the execution of aligned media strategies, optimizing campaigns, analyse data and ensuring that our media efforts align with specific objectives. The candidate needs strong technical knowledge of biddable media platforms with strong emphasis on client interaction and communication about tactical plan and performance. The candidate will work closely with internal teams of strategic planers, performance media buying and analytics teams.

Role Responsibilities:

• Work with planning team to develop media plans across Social, Search, and Programmatic platforms, ensuring alignment within the overall global, regional and local strategy.
• Monitor and optimize ongoing campaigns with buying team for maximum performance and efficiency.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for future strategies.
• Collaborate with the analytics and media buying team to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Manage budgets and timelines for media campaigns across various platforms.
• Translate complex media terminology and concepts into easy-to-understand language for clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in Social, Search, and Programmatic media.
• Implement A/B testing frameworks to refine strategies and tactics.
• Ensure compliance with all platform-specific guidelines and best practices.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure cohesive and effective media planning and execution.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in digital planning and execution, particularly in Social, Search, and Programmatic.
• Minimum 0-1 years of relevant work experience on digital planning & performance marketing
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Proficient in various data and analytics tools (GA4, MMP, CAPI, CRM Integration etc.)
• Hands on experience working on major ad platforms (Google, Meta, Tiktok, DV360), knowledge of non biddable digital platforms is plus.
• A test and learn mindset to drive innovation in work
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Good interpersonal skills to build client and media partner’s relationship
• A team player who can work with multi functional teams
