Another key aspect of the role is to capture and analyze data related to VGC’s chartered Fleet’s international emission regulations and enable the day-to-day administration of emission reporting to relevant authorities.
This position will sit within the VGC Shipping Fleet Performance & Emissions Team, reporting directly to the Sr. Manager - Fleet Performance and Emissions, and will play a key role in enhancing value for VGC’s chartered fleet. Strong digital and analytical skills are essential for handling large complex data.

The ability to effectively evaluate and monitor AI systems will grow in importance as models become more capable, autonomous, and integrated into society. If models can detect and game evaluations, obscure their reasoning, or behave differently under observation, the safety claims that governments and developers rely on become unreliable. Understanding and addressing these risks is essential to ensuring that oversight of advanced AI systems keeps pace with their capabilities.
The Model Transparency team is a research team within AISI focused on ensuring that evaluations, assessments, and monitoring of frontier AI systems remain reliable as models become less transparent. We research how and why oversight is declining – through phenomena such as evaluation awareness, unfaithful chain-of-thought reasoning, and changes in model architectures – and develop methods (including white and black box methods) to detect, measure, and mitigate potential issues. We share our findings with frontier AI companies (including Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepMind), UK government officials, and allied governments, and publicly to inform their deployment, research, and policy decisions. We also work directly with safety teams at frontier labs, contributing to safety case reviews and helping improve their alignment evaluation methodology.
Our recent work includes auditing games for sandbagging, reproducing natural emergent misalignment from reward hacking, and identifying open-weight language models that game propensity evaluations.
We're looking for Research Scientists and Research Engineers for the Model Transparency team with expertise in technical AI safety – such as interpretability, capability or alignment evaluations, model transparency – or with broader experience with frontier LLM research and development. An ideal candidate would have a strong track record of high-quality research in technical AI safety or adjacent fields.
We're interested in candidates along the spectrum between Research Engineers and Research Scientists. The application form will ask you to indicate which role you lean towards.
The team is led by Joseph Bloom, advised by Geoffrey Irving. You'll work with talented, mission-driven technical staff across AISI, including alumni from Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepMind, and top universities. Annual salary is benchmarked to role scope and relevant experience. Most offers land between £65,000 and £145,000 made up of a base salary plus a technical allowance (take-home salary = base + technical allowance). An additional 28.97% employer pension contribution is paid on the base salary.

Real Chemistry is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our growing team!
As a Senior Account Manager, you will act as the key day-to-day client contact, managing relationships and taking responsibility for the delivery of several medium to large projects. As a client account lead or captain (depending on the size of the account), you will be responsible for managing the execution of parallel ongoing projects and take an active role in coaching your junior team and ensuring projects are delivered effectively alongside the account lead and/or sponsor.
You should have a clear understanding of the programme as a whole (not just the projects you are working on) across your accounts, increasing your involvement in the strategic planning and financial management of your accounts and focusing on developing your leadership style to actively manage up and down, based on project needs.
What you’ll do:
Client delivery
Act as day-to-day client contact: provide regular status updates to your client (leading updates on more complex projects); anticipate client needs; respond to client queries and share recommendations (following discussion with your account lead); manage client expectations on timelines, scope of project, etc.; take client briefs and clearly communicate to team members, implementing realistic project plans
Confidently formulate objectives and strategies for new client work with support from your account lead, ensuring that programme strategy is pulled through
Lead large projects with less support from your account lead, being accountable for the whole project from start to finish
Provide counsel to the client throughout the project with confidence to challenge the client when required; manage challenging conversations with the client, as required
Provide support to your account lead in addressing programme and team challenges
Formulate solutions to client challenges such as last-minute requests
Have a clear understanding of the programme as a whole (not just the projects you are working on), including the client objectives, strategy and environment so that you are able to confidently lead internal meetings and client calls
Ensure momentum is maintained across the programme and contact with client continues whenever the account lead is absent
Business development
Identify areas for organic growth within existing accounts (evolving existing programmes and/or additional tactics) and confidently sell new ideas in to clients, with support from your account lead
Play a management role in the new business process (assisting in the production of credentials and pitch presentations, coordinating and managing team members and external suppliers), having a significant share of voice/visibility with the internal cross-functional team
Team management
Begin to develop your leadership style, instilling professional values and good working habits in your teams
Look for opportunities to inspire, motivate, and empower your team on a daily basis, leading by example and setting the standard for junior accounts team members
Provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members and manage their performance
Support interviewing for new AAs – SAAs
Line manage at least one accounts team member AAs – SAAs, providing day-to-day support and longer-term career development guidance
Financial management
Develop more complicated budgets for integrated client programmes and track resource use against available budget throughout the month
Coach others to develop accurate budgets for clients, reflecting back on previous projects and gathering cost quotes
Support your account lead with the financial management of your accounts, proactively getting involved in invoicing, forecasting and resourcing and attend month-end finance meetings
Complete your timesheets and expense claims accurately and on time and take an active role in reviewing timesheets across the majority of your projects
Agency environment
Participate in internal initiatives which contribute to the culture or development of the Medical Communications team, or Real Chemistry more broadly (e.g., compliance/socials/inspiration)

The base salary range for this role is £90,000.00 - £150,000.00. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. The Fullstack Engineer (Frontend Focus) will own and evolve the Monolith platform’s product surface — the data‑heavy, workflow‑centric web experience where engineers design experiments, compare runs, interact with agents, and turn complex physical test data into decisions. We’re targeting an IC5 Fullstack Staff Engineer with a strong frontend background, and are also open to exceptional Senior Fullstack Engineer II (IC4) candidates who can operate at staff‑like scope. The role is heavily frontend‑weighted (roughly 80–90%), focused on owning the Monolith web application: component architecture, design system evolution, performance, and UX for complex, data‑rich workflows. You’ll also work across our Python services (FastAPI/Flask) to shape and integrate APIs, bring new platform capabilities to the UI, and occasionally deliver backend features that unlock better user experiences.

The base salary range for this role is 116,000 GBP to 155,000 GBP. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. You'll own the positioning and messaging for Intercom's Helpdesk product — connected with the product team, close to customers, and responsible for one of the most important narratives in the company: why Helpdesk and Fin together is fundamentally better than either alone.
You'll shape how we talk to the 25,000+ businesses already using Intercom, build the narrative for an AI-first helpdesk era, and establish Intercom as the obvious choice for teams who want their AI agent and their human support layer working as one. You'll work directly with product, engineering, sales leadership, and the marketing team. You'll be hands-on with the product and the tech. This isn't a lane job - it's a builder role for someone who wants to work fast, think from first principles, and help define what great PMM looks like.

The Lead AI Engineer Role

The Send Team
Over the past two years, Send has experienced significant growth, expanding our team by over 50% to more than 120 people. At the start of 2024, our team was primarily based in the UK and Poland.
