Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience required

· 10+ years public relations experience or related experience and/or training

· Deep agricultural communication experience required specifically in the row and specialty crops space and crop protection

· Knowledge of the ag trade media landscape and contacts

· Experience leading client relationships and accounts

· Experience in developing strategies to secure national and trade media coverage

· Experience in executive interview coaching and training, as well as counsel

· Excellent communication and persuasion skills, both written and oral

· Impeccable attention to detail and stellar organizational skills

· Creative problem solver with strong critical thinking skills

· Familiarity with sustainability practices and trends

About the Role:  

Packaging Support at Grön is the daily facilitator for preparing and packaging all products needed for fulfillment. The packaging team must work at high levels of production efficiency and safety. The Packaging Support is expected to follow, maintain and hold the team accountable to standard work methods and safe work habits to ensure product packaging and fulfillment is as efficient and safe as possible. This role is based in our Kansas City facility, where the operating hours are from Monday-Thursday, 6:00AM - 4:30PM, with the occasional Friday shift.

In this role you will:  

• Communicate clearly and frequently with the Packaging team and leadership to achieve daily goals 
• Follow company and government compliance to complete daily packaging and prep  
• Maintain a clear workspace  
• Maintain our seed-to-sale system, METRC, by managing associated tags and batch stickers 
• Complete daily checklists to keep facility running smoothly 
• Learn to properly operate various types of machines in the packaging process 
• Sleeve, sticker, package, wrap and heat seal all products post-production 
• Keep a keen eye for the details to find tasks when there is a break in packaging 
• Collaborate with coworkers to complete packaging tasks in a timely fashion

• Builds and maintains productive client relationships, including serving as a day-to-day contact
• Builds and maintains strong relationships within the agency, including with the creative, social, media, and client leadership teams 
• Identifies key media contacts and influencers relevant to accounts and client needs
• Manages media and influencer relationships, accounts, and project activities
• Executes influencer outreach and negotiations and builds earned media relationships
• Communicates and delivers earned media and influencer campaigns built with strategic objectives and amplification for brand channels 
• Supports onsite execution of activations with influencers and media, including client, vendor, and partner relationships 
• Utilizes media and influencer monitoring and research tools; identifies appropriate measures to evaluate the success of a major project, campaign or event
• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of, and follows, best practices and trends for PR and influencer industries 
• Responds professionally to client and colleague communications
• Prepares for client or internal meetings by creating and/or informing agendas, preparing meeting space, and capturing next steps/notes
• Provides insight on trends and changes in the media and influencer landscapes for clients
• Counsels clients and agency partners on newsworthiness of topics, issues, and ideas

• Media relations experience, including pitching national, regional, local, and trade news media and securing interviews and coverage for clients
• Influencer relations experience, including influencer identification, outreach, relationship management, and content creation
