The Opportunity

Canopy is a fast-growing SaaS startup in Draper, Utah building simple, efficient software for accounting firms. We are looking to revolutionize the accounting space with modern, user-friendly software for a neglected industry. We're hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help make our world-class practice management platform for accounting professionals even better. You'll work on a highly collaborative squad alongside other engineers, a product manager, UX designer, and QA engineer, with the autonomy to research, hypothesize, build, test, and iterate on the best solutions for our customers. Our microservices backend and micro-frontend architecture support independent deployments, letting our teams ship to production multiple times a day. What You’ll Do

• Partner with your PM, UX designer, fellow engineers, QA, and customers to define and validate new features end-to-end
• Build user-facing experiences in JavaScript/TypeScript and React that delight our customers
• Design and implement REST API endpoints and microservices using Python with FastAPI or Java with Vert.x, backed by PostgreSQL
• Write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and help maintain quality across the codebase
• Own builds and deployments to staging and production using Docker, GitLab, and Kubernetes
• Identify, prioritize, and resolve bugs and technical debt across the stack
• Share what you learn through mentoring, trainings, and interviewing future teammates
• Contribute to effective AI driven engineering tooling that improves quality and efficiency for every engineer

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with meaningful exposure to both frontend and backend work (we don't expect equal depth in both)
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with experience in React or a similar modern framework
• Strong proficiency in at least one of the following backend languages (Python, Java, or Kotlin) and comfort with SQL and RESTful API design
• Familiarity with modern tooling: TypeScript, Git, and testing frameworks for both front end and back end code
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants like Claude Code or Cursor, an eagerness to adopt the latest advancements and best practices, and the judgment to steer AI toward high-quality code you fully understand and can stand behind
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with both technical and non-technical teammates
• A passion for building scalable solutions that have real customer impact

Bonus Points 

• Proficiency with microservices architecture or micro-frontend infrastructure
• Experience with observability tooling (logging, metrics, tracing)
• Hands-on experience building features that integrate LLMs or AI capabilities into a product

who will be able to perform regular E2E Testing of all products and new features integrated within Neurons UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) Platform. Automation Lead – Develop and continuously innovate Rest API, CLI and GUI based Automation frameworks for Neurons UEM Platform. Automate end to end use-cases for legacy and new features for Neurons UEM. Groom the E2E team in all the feature executions and automation development. Review automation code written by E2E team. Develop entire CI/CD pipelines and framework for daily production runs. Automate the notification for successful and failed test suite executions. Collaborate with SRE, Support Team and Project stakeholders on all features and bugs uncovered by E2E team. Understand all the critical and important features to be E2E automated by collaborating with Dev managers and Directors/Stakeholders Actively sharing all the results and customer scenarios automated with all necessary dev managers/directors and stakeholders. Identifying all the important customer scenarios and features for E2E Execution and automation Be an active scrum master for the team, and lead on all the necessary sprint deliverables. Cross Collaborate with different orgs and development teams and help them in E2E Testing and Automation. Log Issues, Debug and Triage Product Failures and help SRE/Dev Team in RCA and possible fixes.

JOB SUMMARY 

The Operations Specialist is responsible for creating, reviewing, and optimizing listings that drive recovery and sales on our platform. This role combines accuracy, speed, and strategic judgment to ensure inventory is allocated, priced, and presented in a way that meets both client objectives and company standards. Operations Specialists collaborate with Account Managers and cross-functional partners to design tailored listing strategies, improve processes, and resolve workflow issues, all while maintaining established SLAs. As subject matter experts, they leverage tools, automation, and data insights to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and minimize transaction disputes. This is a productivity-based role that requires independent decision-making, attention to detail, and the ability to balance competing priorities under pressure, while fostering strong client and internal relationships.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Exercises independent judgment within their scope of work to review and resolve workflow issues with accuracy and consistency.
• Navigates ambiguity by weighing trade-offs, considering downstream impacts, and aligning actions with team and company objectives.
• Defines and executes efficient workflows to ensure listings are created and reviewed within established SLAs.
• Strategically divides master inventory files into optimized listings using seller-specific standards and subject matter expertise to maximize recovery and velocity.
• Partners with cross-functional teams to design listing strategies that exceed client expectations while balancing efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Drives success by identifying and implementing process improvements, adapting to client changes and enhancing tool functionality and efficiency through specialized knowledge in online transactions
• Leverages automation tools (e.g., AI, Excel macros) to streamline repetitive steps and increase efficiency.
• Tracks and reports listing metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Supports onboarding of new sellers and locations, ensuring standardized and scalable processes.
• Leads ongoing and ad hoc projects in support of clients and internal stakeholders.
• Tracks and documents order status between sellers and buyers to ensure timely resolution and minimize disputes.
• Monitors account and category performance to recommend competitive pricing strategies for future inventory.
• Ensures inventory is properly allocated across sales methods to align with departmental and client objectives.
• Reviews aging inventory and adjusts sales method or pricing strategies to meet performance targets.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS JOB SKILLS AND ABILITIES 

• High School Diploma or GED
• Thorough attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Advanced or proficient knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets (i.e., pivot tables, vlookups)
• Experience working in a fast-paced and multi-deadline-driven environment
• Efficient and analytical with the ability to self-manage while contributing to a positive work environment
• Must be a team player who naturally collaborates with others (at all levels) and doesn’t hesitate to engage other teams to achieve the best results
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to find innovative ways of processing client information into listings

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Previous experience related to online eCommerce, Marketplace or B2B platform sales such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify, and Woocommerce
• Knowledge of Python, MySQL, Ruby, or other popular programming languages is a plus
• Prior work experience in HTML and Magento
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education or experience

The pay rate for this role will range between $21 to $25, per hour. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as the applicant’s work experience, education and training, skills, market data, and internal equity.
