Sales Operations Specialist – META Region
The Sales Operations Specialist will be a key member of the Axon META team, playing an essential role in enabling the team and our customers to succeed in their partnerships. This position focuses on driving operational excellence through business intelligence, logistics coordination, permits and licensing management, and process improvement — ensuring Axon’s commercial efforts are fully supported across the region.

What You’ll Do
Support local sales teams by engaging with all stakeholders - including distributors, customers, and local service partners - acting as the central point of coordination for all joint activities and operational processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing export and import licenses, permits, and compliance documentation (including RMA, vendor registration, and licensing).
- Overseeing logistics follow-up to ensure smooth order execution and timely delivery.
- Supporting distributor onboarding and maintaining vendor records and documentation.
- Handling bank guarantees, letters of credit, and financial settlements in coordination with the finance team.
- Assisting with public tender processing, including preparation, compilation, and submission of documentation in coordination with local teams.
- Drafting and reviewing commercial offers, reports, and solvency studies.
- Managing invoicing processes and ensuring alignment with internal financial protocols.
- Supporting project management and continuous improvement initiatives across internal processes.
- Performing light Salesforce maintenance, data updates, and reporting to support business operations.
- Providing event coordination and operational support for Axon’s participation in regional events.
- Defining and monitoring KPIs in collaboration with the Sales Organization and collecting market intelligence and customer feedback.

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join one of our high-impact engineering squads. In this role, you will serve as a technical leader and be key in designing complex systems, driving architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and delivering high-quality software across our cloud-native Evolution DMS platform. You will work at the intersection of scale, performance, and user impact, tackling some of the hardest problems in our stack.
This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work in a collaborative, Agile environment where your decisions carry real weight.
What You'll Do
- Lead technical design and architecture for complex, cross-functional features — evaluating trade-offs, defining patterns, and ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and performant across a large enterprise-grade codebase.
- Build and own platform-level frameworks used by other engineering squads — including authentication/authorization systems, API development tooling, webhook infrastructure, messaging pipelines, AI integrations, and CI/CD tooling.
- Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, architectural guidance, and establishing best practices that raise the bar for the entire team.
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers through pairing, design reviews, and knowledge sharing — fostering a culture of continuous learning (teaching experience a strong plus).
- Own end-to-end delivery of features from design through production — writing clean, efficient, well-documented code in Java, Kotlin, and TypeScript adhering to team standards.
- Lead and execute complex integrations with third-party systems — including payment processors, identity providers, OEM data feeds, and external APIs — ensuring resilience, security, and maintainability.
- Champion performance and reliability — proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, design for failure, and implement resilience patterns (circuit breakers, caching strategies, backoff/retry) across our service integrations.
- Drive cloud infrastructure decisions on AWS — including serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway), container orchestration (EKS), messaging (SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ), and data services (RDS PostgreSQL, ElastiCache/Redis, DynamoDB).
- Manage and evolve CI/CD pipelines — automating build, test, and deployment processes using GitLab CI, Gradle, Terraform, and Serverless Framework to enable rapid, consistent releases across environments.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for high-severity production issues, translating findings into actionable architectural improvements.
- Contribute to infrastructure as code using Terraform, supporting reproducible, version-controlled AWS environment provisioning.
- Maintain and improve technical documentation in Confluence, ensuring architectural decisions, patterns, and runbooks are accessible and up to date.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies — including AI/ML tooling — making recommendations that align with long-term platform direction.
What You'll Have
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of professional software engineering experience; or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- Deep expertise in Java / Kotlin / Groovy and the Jakarta EE ecosystem — including JPA, Wildfly/JBoss, or Spring — with a strong command of object-oriented and functional design principles.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript — including Node.js and modern backend frameworks such as NestJS — with the ability to contribute across the full stack.
- Demonstrated ability to architect and deliver distributed, cloud-native systems at scale — including microservices, event-driven architectures, and RESTful API design.
- Integrate AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or equivalent) into day-to-day engineering workflows — including code generation, automated code review, test authoring, and documentation — to improve individual and team productivity without compromising code quality or security standards.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS — specifically Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, SNS, SQS, EKS, ElastiCache, and DynamoDB — and a track record of deploying and operating production workloads in cloud environments.
- Advanced proficiency with PostgreSQL and other data stores (Redis/Valkey, MongoDB) — including query optimization, indexing strategies, and schema design.
- Proven experience designing and implementing authentication and authorization systems — including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and integration with identity providers such as Okta and FusionAuth.
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration — Docker and Kubernetes/EKS — at a production operations level.
- Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to large-scale migrations — including legacy system rewrites, on-prem to cloud migrations, or major platform re-architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience on a developer platform or framework team — building shared tooling, libraries, and infrastructure that other engineering squads build on top of.
- Familiarity with AI/ML integration patterns in production software — including LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or agentic workflow tooling.
- Solid experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform and deployment automation using Serverless Framework and GitLab CI.
- Experience with desktop application development and migration from legacy desktop (Swing or equivalent) to modern web/React front ends.

What you'll do:
Platform Development & Developer Enablement
- Build and maintain self-service infrastructure platforms that empower developers to provision and manage their own AWS resources
- Work embedded within development squads as their cloud infrastructure guide and strategic partner
- Design and implement reusable Terraform modules that enable consistent, scalable infrastructure patterns

What you need to be successful

- 6+ years software development experience

We are looking for a motivated Sr. Security Analyst who will help handle and manage security requirements, monitor our compliance with ISO27001 & SOC 2 and be the person to talk to our customers and respond to all vendor security questionnaires.
Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation of security controls: With the support of our current Information Security Manager, take charge of implementing and enhancing information security controls, particularly focusing on SOC2, ensuring alignment with laws, regulations, industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001), and business requirements.
- Monitor and investigate security issues: Oversee the monitoring, investigation, and resolution of issues, creating reports, conducting security assessments, and driving security programs across the organization.
- Manage SaaS product security technologies: Supervise the implementation and management of security technologies related to our SaaS product.
- Support in client interactions: Assist departments with information security-related questions during proposal and negotiation processes with potential clients/customers.
- Drive security awareness: Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs to educate employees on best practices, fostering a strong security culture.

- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Relevant academic background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT security, information systems, computer science, technology management, or a similar field, or equivalent apprenticeship experience with foundational knowledge of information security-related topics.
- Understanding of SaaS security: Strong grasp of the security challenges and solutions for modern cloud-based SaaS providers.
- Experience in information security management: At least 1 year of working experience with information security management systems, including risk assessment, threat management, and incident response.

We are looking for a motivated Sr. Security Analyst who will help handle and manage security requirements, monitor our compliance with ISO27001 & SOC 2 and be the person to talk to our customers and respond to all vendor security questionnaires.
Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation of security controls: With the support of our current Information Security Manager, take charge of implementing and enhancing information security controls, particularly focusing on SOC2, ensuring alignment with laws, regulations, industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001), and business requirements.
- Monitor and investigate security issues: Oversee the monitoring, investigation, and resolution of issues, creating reports, conducting security assessments, and driving security programs across the organization.
- Manage SaaS product security technologies: Supervise the implementation and management of security technologies related to our SaaS product.
- Support in client interactions: Assist departments with information security-related questions during proposal and negotiation processes with potential clients/customers.
- Drive security awareness: Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs to educate employees on best practices, fostering a strong security culture.
- Conduct security assessments: Perform regular security assessments and audits to identify gaps in the company’s security posture, recommending and driving remediation actions.
- Ensure device compliance: Take ownership of company device management to maintain compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Relevant academic background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT security, information systems, computer science, technology management, or a similar field, or equivalent apprenticeship experience with foundational knowledge of information security-related topics.
- Understanding of SaaS security: Strong grasp of the security challenges and solutions for modern cloud-based SaaS providers.
- Experience in information security management: At least 1 year of working experience with information security management systems, including risk assessment, threat management, and incident response.
- Problem-solving mindset: Passionate about combining robust security with the fast-paced environment of a SaaS product management startup.
- Project management skills: Self-driven project manager familiar with the workstreams of ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification processes.
- Technical security knowledge: Basic understanding of modern web application architecture (e.g., OWASP Top 10), cloud hosting technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, infrastructure as code), and best practices for securing these environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels, building strong relationships with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively both as an individual and in a team setting.
- Language proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English; German is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possession of a CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CRISC certification(s) is a strong plus.

What You’ll Do
Location: Jordan, travel up to 70% of time

- Achieve mastery of all Axon technologies / products
- Use exceptional written and oral communication skills to lead business and technical presentations effectively
- Have technical conversations with IT departments, including CIOs, as well as channel partner leadership and technical stakeholders
- Set and manage expectations with customers and team members
- Provide 1st-level technical support throughout the pre-sales cycle for opportunities
- Remain organized and focused on removing sales obstacles through creativity and adaptation to rapidly changes circumstances
- Develop relationships with key partners for growth within their customer base
- Effectively position the technology against competitive offerings
- Be responsible for representing the products, company values, and brand to customers and at field events such as industry and user conferences, tech summits, etc.
- Take ownership of the POC/Pilot process: Coordinate logistics across all stakeholders, assess customer requirements/objectives, and tailor POC tests and findings, accordingly, assist prospects with initial configuration and orientation
- Where possible, improve or develop technical documentation to ease understanding and customer or channel usage of our products and services
- Capture requested features and provide feedback to Product Management, Sales, Development, Support, Engineering and Marketing teams
- Develop Statements of Work (SOW) for Professional Services necessary for binding quote
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
What You Bring
- Willingness to travel;
- Fluent English and Arabic, French is a plus;

- Educational background:
- Associates degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent field), or 5+ years relevant experience.

- 4+ years customer facing pre-sales or consulting background required
- 3+ years of experience with public procurement in META
- Experience selling SaaS based solutions
- Experience in End User Compute or Cloud Computing preferred
- Experience in networking, storage, virtualization, or related technologies
- Must have intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability and positive approach;
- Strong Technical Writing skills to provide professional responses to customer RFPs / RFIs
- Basic knowledge or curiosity of security, IPsec, InfoSec, hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and storage devices.
- Ability to work independently with substantial latitude for action and decision making while maintaining focus on achieving optimal outcomes as part of a collaborative development effort.
