Your Opportunity:
- Serves as the primary technical liaison between the customer and Tenable internal groups (Product Management, Sales, R&D, etc) for technical issues.
- Analyse and clarify customer technical inquiries.
- Analysing vulnerability scan results, system audits, and log events.
- Recreating customer software issues in a lab environment.
- Harness AI-driven technologies to amplify your impact, automate routine tasks, and focus on solving complex technical challenges.
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of Tenable products and information security best-practices.
- Create and publish solution knowledge for re-use by customers and Tenable employees.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years professional experience with networking (TCP/IP), OS administration(Linux/Windows/MacOS), patch deployment, and system configuration.
- Experience providing technical support to enterprise clients, troubleshooting complex issues in production or customer environments; network security experience a plus.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) as Tenable continues to build an AI-augmented support model to accelerate case resolutions and to provide an exceptional customer/TSE experience.
- Knowledge of computer, network, and application security; familiarity with Nessus or similar tools is a bonus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment to help meet business and client needs.
- Monthly availability to work weekends (8am-4:30pm) and Holidays is also required.
And Ideally:
- Using Nessus and/or other vulnerability management or cybersecurity tools, either professionally or in an academic setting.
- Experience with ticketing systems (JIRA, Salesforce, Zendesk etc).
- Log analysis using a SEIM product (Splunk, ElasticSearch, etc).
- Database technologies and SQL knowledge (Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, etc).
- Cloud/Virtualization technologies (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, etc).
- Fundamental understanding of programming languages.
- Experience with or understanding of Certificates and CA’s.
- Basic understanding of reviewing PCAPs with tools such as Wireshark.
- Bilingual candidates are desirable but not required (Arabic/French/German/Spanish/Italian).

An overview of this role
As the first Engineering Manager embedded the Upstream Studios organization at GitLab, you'll lead a focused team of Engineers responsible for two foundational surfaces: the Pajamas Design System, which powers the coherence of the entire GitLab product, and docs.gitlab.com, the documentation platform serving millions of GitLab users and contributors worldwide.
This is a rare opportunity to define what engineering leadership looks like inside a design organization. You’ll report to the Chief Design Officer and partner closely with Product Design, Technical Writing, Localization, Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering leaders across GitLab. Critically, the design system is a contribution-based, company-wide platform that engineers across the entire organization depend on and actively participate in. Building those partnerships and making it easier for engineers everywhere to contribute to Pajamas will be central to your success.
You’ll be a hands-on technical leader and people manager in equal measure: guiding architecture decisions, shaping contribution workflows, and helping a small, high-impact team do some of the most leveraged work at GitLab.
What you'll do
- Lead, mentor,and grow a high-performing team of engineers, working across the Pajamas Design System and the GitLab documentation site.
- Define and build the engineering practice within Upstream Studios–this is a new function and you’ll have real influence over how it takes shape.
- Guide architecture and technical decisions for the design system (components, tokens, patterns) and the docs site (performance, reliability, infrastructure, localization).
- Help others across the organization understand the strategic value of a well-maintained design system and documentation platform.
- Advocates for engineering quality: technical debt, accessibility standards, customer issues, security, and platform reliability.
- Collaborate with Product Design and Technical Writing to translate design and content needs into scalable technical solutions
What you'll bring
- Experience leading infrastructure, platform, or development teams, with a track record of building high-performing, values-aligned teams.
- Deep expertise in design systems–including design tokens, component architecture, accessibility standards, and contribution models.
- Excellent technical background, including professional experience with Git, docs-as-code, Hugo, accessibility and building and maintaining a design system.
- Experience of building and supporting multi-lingual sites and localization workflows at scale.
- Professional experience with JavaScript (Vue.js) and familiarity with Elasticsearch, Ruby/Go, AI tools, and continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Strong expertise in running and scaling large, consumer-grade platforms, with a focus on reliability, security, performance, and scalability.
- Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote and largely asynchronous work environment.
- Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions.
- Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems

The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of the United States only. This range is intended to reflect the role's base salary rate in locations throughout the US. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, alignment with market data, and geographic location. What You Will Be Doing:
- Taking an engineering approach in leading technical initiatives for automating network engineering efforts to guarantee the reliability of the global Elastic infrastructure. .
- Growing our global Platform infrastructure to meet the increasing scaling demands by developing and maintaining software, codebases, tooling and automations.

What You Bring:
- 10+ years in Software Engineering with product success in delivering Cloud network solutions. You collaborate with engineers as an authority in identifying, implementing and delivering solutions. Experience in public cloud, Go and managed Kubernetes services is advantageous.
- Success and lessons of experiences from striving for 'progress not perfection' in the name of Platform reliability. We want to hear about your customer first approach in solving operational problems for both today and the future.

- Explore new trends in Search, AI, and developer tools, and translate them into content our audience cares about.

What Is The Role:
We are on the lookout for a Senior Software Developer to join our Elasticsearch - Distributed Systems team and focus on how Elasticsearch provides scale, performance, and resilience. This team owns how nodes in an Elasticsearch cluster communicate, and how data are indexed, allocated, and replicated across nodes.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Improving Elasticsearch’s components that support concurrent and consistent indexing across multiple machines.
- Maintaining our cluster coordination system to keep performance high even though nodes come and go from the cluster and data moves around, while maintaining the safety and liveness properties of the system as a whole.
- Pushing the limits on the number of shards, nodes, and petabytes that Elasticsearch can handle today
- Looking into all kinds of issues, including performance or concurrency issues, and proposing solutions.
- Supporting our support engineers with the harder problems.
What You Bring:
- A strong background in distributed systems and consensus algorithms.
- You have strong skills in core Java and are conversant in the standard library of data structures and concurrency constructs, as well as newer language features.
- You have a deep technical proficiency in algorithms.
- You have shown your ability to understand and work on complex, highly distributed systems.
- You demonstrate the ability to build and debug features with a broad impact, running on multiple machines.
- You are able to own projects from beginning to end. This covers both technical design and working with others to develop needed components.

What is The Role
Elastic is building Agent Builder, a conversational platform that connects production agents to real customer business data in Elasticsearch. As a Principal Engineer, you will set technical direction and drive the Kibana backend architecture for the agentic platform: streaming APIs, secure tool execution, session and memory persistence, retrieval and citations contracts, and evaluation telemetry. Your influence will extend beyond a single feature, shaping service boundaries, reliability posture, and standards that other solutions build on.
What You Will Be Doing
- Own the architecture for chat back-end services (Node/TypeScript), defining service boundaries, data contracts, and scalability targets
- Lead cross-team design reviews; author ADRs and RFCs that become reference standards for AI-chat and ingestion work.
- Build and harden event-driven pipelines that capture chat telemetry, evaluation traces, and LLM feedback loops; expose them via self-service analytics endpoints.
- Champion reliability—define error budgets, introduce testing strategy, and steer incident-response playbooks for conversational workloads.
- Mentor senior and Junior engineers; grow their system-design skills and foster a high-trust, low-ego culture.

What You Bring

Sony Music's Product Design Engineering and Global Operations (PDEGO) Team is looking for a Software Engineer to join our D2C team in our King’s Cross office (London). Your work will power the technology that will support our artist, label, and merchandise stores worldwide.
As a Software Engineer with PDEGO:
What you'll do:
- Work with a cross-functional team to build products that empower artists and record labels across the globe
- Contribute to all tiers of our architecture to produce high quality, robust user experiences
- Write clean, tested, maintainable code
- Work closely with product management to understand client requirements
- Participate in re-architecture, refinement and technical design of various systems
Who you are:
- We’re seeking a Data Platform Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience in the following areas:
- Strong experience implementing distributed systems and scalable data solutions.
- Proficiency in a scripting language, such as Python, for data pipeline development and automation.
- Deep experience with various database and data warehousing technologies and query languages (we use Neo4j, Kafka, MySQL, Snowflake, Elasticsearch, and more).
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining robust ETL/ELT data pipelines, including orchestration tools like Airflow, for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
- Experience with data transformation tools such as dbt (data build tool).
- Familiar with techniques for data quality monitoring and ensuring data reliability.
- Experience with microservices, APIs, and related standards such as REST and HTTP.
- Comfortable with AWS Cloud technologies and cloud-native data services.
- Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for managing and provisioning cloud resources.
- Experience using log analysis and monitoring tools to investigate data issues and pipeline performance.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests to ensure data integrity.
- Experience working in an agile team.
