Job Summary:

The Senior Art Director is a senior-level creative contributor within the agency who may interface directly with Real Chemistry clients as well as all areas of the organization. Primary responsibilities include guiding the ideation and creative development for projects, business development, and some corporate marketing as needed. In addition to possessing an excellent knowledge of effective graphic and/or presentation design techniques (via both the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint), a successful Senior Art Director should possess a thorough understanding of the principles of successfully integrating copy with art and layouts. This position also requires strong creative problem-solving skills and the ability to translate strategic ideas into polished deliverables and then present them to key stakeholders.   

What you'll do:

• Provide quality assurance for all related design deliverables 
• Manage/lead/direct promotional art projects  
• Assess client needs, propose, and develop innovative multimedia solutions 
• Understand and develop new technology to maintain agency competitiveness 
• Possess advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop 
• Provide a work breakdown structure (WBS) and budget for complex deliverables 
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

• Bachelor's degree in arts, graphic arts, related field, or similar work experience is required

Pay Range: $85,000-$95,000

The Role

We are looking for a Freelance New Business Designer to join our Enterprise New Business team. This is a highly executional, individual‑contributor role focused primarily on PowerPoint design, including custom pitch templates, layout systems, and presentation polish, with graphic design support as needed.

You will work closely with new business, strategy, and creative partners to help transform complex ideas into clear, visually compelling pitch materials that support Real Chemistry’s growth efforts.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build high‑impact pitch decks primarily in PowerPoint, ensuring clarity, consistency, and visual polish
• Create custom PowerPoint templates and slide systems tailored to individual new business opportunities, while aligning with Real Chemistry brand guidelines
• Translate strategic and written content into clean, engaging layouts that tell a cohesive story
• Apply lgraphic design support as needed (e.g., charts, icons, simple illustrations, visual frameworks)
• Partner closely with new business, strategy, and creative teams to meet tight deadlines and evolving pitch needs
• Ensure all materials meet Real Chemistry’s quality, accessibility, and brand standards

What You Bring

• 8-10+ years of experience in presentation design, design production, or similar role, preferably within an agency, consulting, or new business environment
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, with a strong understanding of master slides, templates, and layout systems
• Solid design fundamentals, including typography, layout, hierarchy, and visual storytelling
• Experience with graphic design using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Illustrator, InDesign) or comparable tools
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
• A collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset and comfort working with cross‑functional partners

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting new business, pitches, RFIs/RFPs, or growth initiatives

Key Responsibilities
