Senior Systems Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support and enhance the infrastructure that underpins our global business operations. This role involves maintaining and improving enterprise-level systems, including data center operations, hardware platforms, virtualization, backups and recovery, operating systems, networking, and security.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in enterprise infrastructure, be self-driven, and capable of independently leading projects from concept to completion. In addition to maintaining existing systems, this role will focus on modernizing and automating infrastructure to improve scalability and performance.
This is a global role that requires collaboration across time zones and includes participation in a 24x7 support rotation with occasional on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage hardware (including gray market systems) in enterprise data centers with assistance from on-site personnel.
- Design, implement, and migrate to modern private cloud infrastructure.
- Establish and maintain configuration management using Foreman, Puppet Enterprise, and Ansible for Linux environments.
- Enhance automated build and deployment pipelines for physical and virtual machines.
- Create configuration roles and automation code using tools like Ansible and Puppet.
- Develop scripts to automate daily tasks for the Systems Engineering team.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting for hardware, Linux, and Windows systems in large-scale environments.
- Lead and plan infrastructure projects independently.
- Provide subject matter expertise in designated technical areas; contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions.
- Advise on data center best practices, including power configuration, HVAC, and rack design.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of Linux/Unix administration (Solaris, AIX, or other flavors)
- 3+ years of OpenStack engineering and administration
- 5+ years of VMWare or equivalent Engineering and Administration
- 5+ years of scripting experience with Bash, Perl, Ruby, Python, etc.
- 3–5 years of experience with system monitoring tools (Check_MK, Nagios, SolarWinds)
- 3–5 years of hands-on hardware management (Dell, SuperMicro, HP)
- 2–3 years of experience with Puppet for configuration management
- 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years of storage administration (EMC, NetApp, 3PAR, Hitachi)
- 1–2 years of experience with F5 load balancers
- 2–4 years of public or hybrid cloud experience (AWS, Azure, Rackspace)
- 2–3 years of application development experience (Java, C++, C#/VB.NET, PHP, HTML, JavaScript)
- 1–2 years of CI/CD experience (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.)
- 2+ years with Ansible AWX or Tower
Candidate Profile
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled at mentoring and leading technical discussions (including whiteboarding sessions)
- Excellent documentation skills, particularly using wikis and diagramming tools like Visio or Lucidchart
- Ability to take direction while also contributing ideas for environment improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Summary:
Zeta’s Marketing Operations is comprised of over 50 individuals who provide world class operational support to the stakeholders and clients of Zeta using multiple in-house and commercial performance marketing tools. Our Campaign Operations team is looking for a Digital Graphic Designer in our Hyderabad office to support our in-house Creative Team who loves to create visual stories that help people engage with brands in the digital marketing space. Essential Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of creative concepts, translating them into visual and interactive form
- Match strategic direction with appropriate design results for the digital and web-based marketing initiatives while providing quality assurance on creative deliverables
- Familiarity with designing for multiple formats such as email, display, social, web and mobile responsive/cross-platform
- Exhibit an awareness of current web design practices and issues of cross-browser compatibility
- Build and maintain a team rapport with production managers, content developers and all other Creative and Campaign Operations team personnel
Essential Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills and fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to take creative direction and produce highly engaging designs that show a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent graphic design, layout and typography skills with strong, clean visuals
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, XD)
- Familiarity and prior experience working with Figma and Sketch
- Knowledge of front-end development experience such as HTML/CSS is a plus
- Grasp of AI applications and UI/UX design processes or methodology, preferred
- Experience with photo-retouching and logo design and illustration

Desired Characteristics:
- Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant design experience in a digital agency, media company, advertising agency, production studio, creative services environment, etc.
- Strong collaboration, time management and multi-tasking skills

Kubernetes & Bare Metal Engineer – Member of Technical Staff
About Infrastructure Shared Services (ISS)
Infrastructure Shared Services (ISS) is responsible for Everpure's engineering infrastructure, development environments, and production-adjacent services across our global data centers and public cloud environments. We partner with internal engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable platforms so they can focus on building high‑quality products.
Within ISS, the Bare Metal Kubernetes Platform team designs, builds, and operates large‑scale Kubernetes environments on bare metal servers, backed by Everpure arrays and Portworx, and integrated with ISS’s observability, CI/CD, and multi‑tenancy frameworks.
SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
As an Bare Metal & Kubernetes Engineer, you will be a senior individual contributor responsible for designing, deploying, and operating large‑scale bare‑metal Kubernetes clusters and platform services in our on‑prem data centers.
You will:
- Lead technical design and implementation for new cluster features and capabilities
- Own critical areas of the platform (e.g., cluster lifecycle, networking, storage, observability, or multi‑tenancy)
- Drive reliability, performance, and security of the Kubernetes platform used by multiple business units
- Mentor other engineers and influence best practices across ISS and partner teams
Key Responsibilities
Platform Design & Architecture
- Design and evolve bare‑metal Kubernetes architectures including control plane, worker nodes, networking, and storage integrations (Portworx on FlashArray/FlashBlade).
- Define standards for cluster lifecycle management (provisioning, upgrades, decommissioning) using tools like Kubespray, Foreman, and internal CD pipelines.
- Contribute to design of multi‑tenant, secure clusters including RBAC, OIDC/SSO, namespace isolation, and quota/limit strategies.
Implementation & Operations
- Deploy, operate, and continuously improve large‑scale bare‑metal Kubernetes clusters across multiple data centers (dev, stg, prod).
- Implement and maintain cluster networking: CNI (e.g., Cilium), BGP, load balancers, ingress, and multi‑rack/ToR topologies.
- Build and maintain GitOps‑based workflows (e.g., ArgoCD) and CI/CD pipelines to manage cluster add‑ons, platform services, and tenant workloads.
- Ensure observability of the platform (metrics, logs, traces) using Prometheus, Elastic stack, Grafana, and related tooling; define SLOs and alerts with SRE teams.
- Participate in “follow the sun” on call for the production system. Lead or contribute the incident management and incident postmortem
Reliability, Security & Compliance
- Own and improve reliability and performance of clusters and platform components; lead root cause analysis and long‑term fixes for complex incidents.
- Implement and enforce security best practices for Kubernetes, including secure defaults, RBAC policies, network policies, and secrets management.
- Collaborate with SRE, Security, and Network Engineering to meet agreed SLIs/SLOs and support models for on‑prem Kubernetes.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner closely with BU engineering teams (e.g., GitHub Actions runners, ELK, KubeVirt workloads) to onboard and run production use cases on the bare‑metal clusters.
- Provide technical leadership on cross‑team projects: lead design reviews, write design docs, and drive decisions that balance reliability, cost, and user experience.
- Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers, sharing best practices in Kubernetes, automation, and production operations.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- 6+ years of experience in infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering roles, including at least 3 years running Kubernetes in production, with significant experience on bare metal.
- Strong proficiency in Linux systems administration, networking, performance tuning, and security hardening.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals (API server, etcd, controllers, scheduler, kubelet) and key concepts (Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, HPA).
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes networking: CNI plugins (preferably Cilium), Services/Ingress, NetworkPolicies, and L4/L7 load‑balancing.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent.
- Strong experience with observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Elastic/ELK, Grafana, Fluentd/Fluent Bit) for cluster and workload monitoring.
- Solid scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, Go, or similar) for automation, tooling, and integration work.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams and write clear technical documentation and runbooks.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE)
- Experience building or operating KubeVirt or other virtualization solutions on top of Kubernetes.
- Prior work with on‑prem GitHub Actions runners or similar CI/CD runners on Kubernetes (cloud or bare metal).
- Familiarity with Portworx and Everpure Storage arrays as persistent storage for Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience in multi‑tenant platform design: authentication via OIDC/Okta, RBAC design, tenant isolation, and self‑service onboarding flows.
- Background in data center networking (BGP, MLAG, ECMP, spine‑leaf architectures) and how it interacts with Kubernetes networking at scale.
- Hands‑on experience with OpenStack in production (Nova, Neutron, Cinder) and integration patterns between OpenStack, Kubernetes, and on‑prem infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise all field crew members including foreman, carpenters, laborers etc. and project operations
- Develop a project site logistics plan and work with project manager to determine method and sequencing of construction. Plans, directs, coordinates and budgets activities
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with owner, subcontractors, and vendors
- Communicate and promote safe working environment and company safety standards, with strong knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Must be able to read plans and have a strong knowledge of various DOT specifications and standards
- Confers with supervisory and engineering personnel and inspectors and suppliers of tools and materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods
- Schedule subcontractors in accordance to required work schedule, pump trucks and material deliveries, Inspect and verify the receipt or shipment of materials
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years' related experience with large scale civil construction project operations required
- Strong knowledge of dirt work, concrete foundation, caissons, and/or vertical drilling
- Proficient with Outlook, Excel, Word, and Heavy Job
- GPS knowledge
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents including drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and the project schedule
- Strong leadership and management skills
- OSHA 30-hour Card, preferred.
