ABOUT THE ROLE

The Financial Applications Engineer designs, develops, and configures scalable solutions within core financial systems to support accounting, finance, and operational workflows. You will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT to translate complex business requirements into well‑engineered system configurations, automations, integrations, and data structures. The position requires a balance of financial acumen and technical depth, with a strong focus on solution design, system integrity, and long‑term maintainability.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Partner with Accounting, FP&A, AP/AR, and operational stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements, ensuring functional needs are clearly translated into system‑ready designs and configurations.
• Design and develop financial application solutions that include workflows, validations, approval logic, roles, permissions, and business rules, with a focus on scalability, accuracy, and alignment with accounting principles.
• Perform hands‑on configuration and development within financial systems, including building custom fields, forms, calculations, and automation that reduce manual effort and improve data consistency.
• Analyze existing finance processes and system usage to identify inefficiencies, control gaps, or opportunities for automation, and engineer solutions that improve processing speed, accuracy, and auditability.
• Design, implement, and maintain integrations between financial systems and upstream/downstream applications such as HRIS, supply chain, project management, banking, and data platforms, ensuring reliable data flow and reconciliation.
• Define and support data models, mappings, and transformation logic across systems, proactively troubleshooting root causes of data discrepancies and implementing sustainable fixes.
• Develop and execute testing strategies, including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate that solutions meet both functional requirements and accounting outcomes prior to deployment.
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, and new feature releases by evaluating impact, modifying configurations as needed, and coordinating testing and deployment across sandbox, testing, and production environments.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for complex financial system issues, performing root‑cause analysis, resolving defects, and driving corrective actions rather than short‑term workarounds.
• Ensure all system designs and changes align with internal controls, segregation of duties, audit requirements, and change management standards, while producing clear technical and functional documentation to support audits and ongoing system knowledge.
• Collaborate with individual department, as well as cross-functionally with other departments within the organization.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, related, or equivalent years of experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in application development roles supporting finance or accounting systems.
• Technology:
  • Proficiency with SuiteScript and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) technologies. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, NetSuite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.
• Skills/Attributes:
  • Demonstrated experience translating accounting and finance requirements into system designs, configurations, and technical solutions.
  • Hands‑on experience configuring, developing, or extending ERP or financial applications beyond basic administration or user support.
  • Solid working knowledge of core accounting processes, including General Ledger, AP/AR, billing or revenue recognition, and fixed assets.
  • Experience supporting system integrations, data flows, reporting structures, or cross‑platform financial data reconciliation.
  • Strong experience producing clear functional specifications, technical documentation, and test plans.

This individual will be an integral member of the on-site BIM Department, providing essential support throughout the lifecycle of a hyper-scaled data center construction project. Reporting to the BIM Manager, the BIM Coordinator role will work closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams to manage day-to-day site activities. They will work closely with project-level management team members as well as with Hoffman’s IT Team regarding BIM process standards, technology support, and training. This role will provide day-to-day guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members to optimize Navisworks features and follow project modeling and coordination standards. This position will be fully at the project site near Boise, Idaho.  

Responsibilities:

• Be a technical advisor in the onsite field office.
• Participate in BIM set-up, standards, and coordination process for projects.
• Establish early standards for data exchange with the project team to optimize use of BIM for scheduling, quantity take-off, estimating, and other functions during all stages of the project.
• Participate in technological collaboration between project team members, clients, design team members, builders, consultants, subcontractors, and others.

• Ensure the construction geometry is error-free and presented in an efficient manner for the crew members.
• Maintain model libraries throughout the project and create archive record models at completion.
• Coordination of IFF flythroughs with subcontractors to ensure they maintain their scheduled submission dates.

Skills Required:

• 4–7 years’ experience in the architectural, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry.
• Specific experience in complex commercial projects is required.
• Experience in the delivery of large, complex projects is preferred.
• Experience working in and around data centers, semi-conductors and/or advanced manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM), AutoCAD, Revit.

They will spend time between fabrication, assembly, test setup, instrumentation, and data capture. Work ranges from sourcing parts and coordinating with vendors to building fixtures, executing test campaigns, and documenting results.

Specific responsibilities may include:

• Fabricate, assemble, and iterate one-off prototypes, tools, fixtures, and jigs from sketches, CAD, and verbal direction
• Interpret drawings, tolerances, and build notes
• Prepare stock—cut, drill, tap, and fit parts using common shop tools; operate basic machine tools (saws, grinders, drills, manual mill/lathe)

• 3+ years hands-on mechanical fabrication/assembly experience or equivalent training/portfolio (trade school, military, etc.)
• Proficient with basic shop operations: cut/drill/tap/; confident using common hand/power tools safely
• Can read mechanical drawings and build notes; understands basic tolerances and fit; uses calipers/mics/gauges accurately
• Familiar with shop safety, PPE, and housekeeping (5S); aware of machine guarding and LOTO basics
• Comfortable setting up simple test rigs and recording data in spreadsheets; willing to learn instrumentation/DAQ
• Basic computer skills: spreadsheets/docs, file management; ability to use CAD viewers

About Oklo travel requirements:

Oklo requires remote employees to travel to headquarters (Santa Clara, CA) twice a quarter annually, based on business or team needs, including attendance at team meetings, off-sites, and other company events or gatherings. For the first two weeks of onboarding, employees are required to be in person at headquarters in Santa Clara, CA.

About Oklo compensation:

Salary: $60,000-$120,000

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Development Director, Data Centers is responsible for leading the market positioning, commercial development, and strategic growth of the company’s data center business. This role identifies and drives new partnership opportunities, evaluates and prioritizes powered data center sites, structures commercial deals, and engages with industry leaders to expand the company’s presence in the responsible data center market. The Director works cross-functionally to convert strategic opportunities into viable, bankable, and scalable projects.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead the development and execution of the company’s data center growth strategy.
• Leverage Clenera’s development platform including but not limited to utility scale solar and storage assets to accelerate online timelines for large load customers.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with hyperscalers, colocation providers, and other large‑scale digital infrastructure stakeholders.
• Support evaluation and prioritization of prospective data center sites based on power availability, interconnection potential, land partnerships, permitting feasibility, cooling strategies, and market demand.
• Oversee preparation of customer-facing materials, including RFP responses, commercial proposals, and strategic presentations for datacenter opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional deal teams through origination, feasibility studies, commercial structuring, negotiations, and contract execution for data center-related projects.
• Collaborate with development, engineering, transmission & interconnection, and finance teams to define project concepts, cost structures, timelines, and economic value for datacenter customers.
• Monitor and analyze market trends in hyperscaler power needs, behind-the-meter and co-located generation structures, energy pricing, and responsible data center development (LEED, PUE, water use, etc.), to guide corporate strategy.
• Represent the company in data center industry networks, conferences, and customer engagements.
• Track the performance of the datacenter business pipeline, providing regular updates to executive leadership, and recommending strategic adjustments as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or other relevant field.
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in business/project development and 2+ years of experience within the data center industry.
• Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.
