Position Overview

The RAN Validation Team Lead is responsible for leading and executing end-to-end validation activities for LTE Radio Access Network (RAN) systems. The role combines hands-on technical validation with team leadership, lab ownership, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality LTE feature delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

• Lead validation activities for LTE RAN features across PHY, MAC, RLC, PDCP, and RRC layers.
• Define validation strategies, test plans, and coverage for new LTE features, releases, and bug fixes.
• Review and approve test results, failure analysis, and validation reports.
• Drive root cause analysis for complex LTE issues (throughput degradation, BLER, HARQ failures, scheduler behavior, CQI/MCS mismatches, PHY impairments).

Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and technically guide a team of LTE RAN validation engineers.
• Allocate tasks, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery of validation milestones.
• Support team growth through technical coaching, reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations.

Automation & Tools:

• Drive test automation efforts using Python (MATLAB is an advantage).
• Review and guide development of automation frameworks, drivers, and test utilities.
• Ensure efficient use of CI pipelines, logs, KPIs, and performance dashboards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in LTE RAN validation, testing, or system engineering.
• Strong understanding of LTE protocols and KPIs
• Hands-on experience with RF and LTE RAN lab equipment.
• Proven experience as a technical team leader or validation team lead
• Strong debugging skills across PHY, MAC, and higher layers.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

Experience:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in LTE RAN validation, testing, or system engineering.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• MATLAB experience.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and automated test frameworks.
• Experience working with distributed or global teams.

Position Overview

We are Looking for a Senior RAN Integration Engineer to join our Validation Team in Hyderabad, India.

Will be responsible for hands-on validation and troubleshooting of RAN systems in satellite end-to-end environment.
This role involves analysing and troubleshooting field test results, performing validation of RAN components (terrestrial and non terrestrial), and ensuring network performance and reliability meet design expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform hands-on RAN testing in an end-to-end lab environment.
2. Troubleshoot and interpret field testing results to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
3. Perform RAN-oriented troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
4. Work closely with system engineers and developers to validate new software releases and features.
5. Contribute to test planning, execution, and reporting for RAN validation activities.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in wireless network testing.
2. Experience Working with QXDM
3. Strong expertise in RAN and RF engineering and related testing methodologies.
4. Hands-on experience in 5G/LTE system validation.
5. Experience working with eNodeB and analysing relevant logs.
6. Practical experience operating within a full end-to-end RAN environment.

 Education:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Communication Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related engineering field. Relevant certifications or advanced degrees are considered an advantage.

Experience:

A minimum of 7 years.

 Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with Python and MATLAB for automation and data analysis.
2. Familiarity with industry tools such as XCAL, UE Simulators, and Viavi.
3. Solid RF testing background and understanding of radio performance metrics.
4. Experience/Knowledge on 3GPP procedures involving RRC,RLC,MAX,PHY layers
