As a Staff Data Scientist, you will be part of our Machine Learning and Data Science team that build and deploy machine learning models used directly in our products. You will work on complex, high-visibility problems and collaborate closely with engineering, product, and analytics teams to turn prototypes into production-grade solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who operates with strong ownership, delivers high-quality work at pace, and acts as a subject-matter expert on key ML components or services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver complex machine learning and NLP solutions end-to-end.
Analyze large datasets to uncover insights, design features, and guide modeling decisions.
Build, test, and deploy ML models into production systems in partnership with engineering teams.
Work independently to create tools, frameworks, and reusable components that accelerate model development.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and analysts to translate prototypes into production-grade models and services.
Demonstrate sound judgment around risk, workload management, prioritization, and escalation.
Act as a go-to SME for your domain and contribute significantly to team commitments and delivery.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of professional experience in a software or ML engineering environment.
5+ years applying advanced statistical or machine learning techniques to real-world business problems.
Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Machine Learning) or equivalent practical experience.
Proven track record of delivering ML solutions used in production.
Strong proficiency with Python and ML-focused libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
Hands-on experience with cloud-based ML workflows in GCP and/or AWS (Kubernetes, Nvidia Triton, Vertex AI, Sagemaker, and similar tools)
Proficiency with database query languages (QL) and experience working with large-scale datasets.
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with modern NLP techniques and pretrained model ecosystems.
Experience building scalable data pipelines or model-serving architectures.
Familiarity with MLOps concepts and practices.
Experience in building production-quality and scalable inf inerence systems with Python, Java, or general-purpose languages.

You Will Have the Opportunity to
- Taking models (often from data scientists) and integrating them into production systems.
- Designing robust pipelines to feed real-time or batch data into ML models.
- Ensuring models run efficiently in production (speed, scalability, memory usage).
- Setting up CI/CD for ML workflows, monitoring models, retraining, and handling model drift.
- Writing production-quality code, ensuring system reliability and scalability.
- Working closely with data engineers and DevOps to ensure ML services operate reliably in distributed environments.
- Building and testing experimental models as proof-of-concept before full deployment.
- Embedding ML/AI solutions into applications, services, and user-facing products.
What Are We Looking For
- Experience in AI and ML development and operations (MLOps)
- Solid understanding of optimization strategies, ML algorithms, training & testing, performance analysis and evaluation methodologies
- Programming expertise in some relevant language (Python, C++).
- Ability to present findings, work both independently and within small groups
- Strong attention to detail and an ambition to learn & experiment with new things in the field of cybersecurity
- Experience with cloud computing (AWS preferred) and edge computing in the context of ML and AI is nice to have

You Will Have the Opportunity to
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for ML models and data workflows
- Automate and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models, from training to deployment and monitoring
- Develop infrastructure to support scalable, reproducible model training and serving in Cloud or on-premise environments
- Monitor model performance in production, detect model/data drift, and implement alerting systems
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and DevOps Engineers to operationalize ML models and integrate them into products
- Drive Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices in ML environments
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues with ML models
- Collaborate with cross-functional and product teams to identify, develop, and test out new ideas
- Build and nourish a culture of data-driven decision making, influencing the mindset of colleagues and management as well
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, or ML Engineering
- Strong programming skills in Python and Bash
- Experience with ML frameworks as training/serving (e.g., Ray, Sagemaker jobs)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools and best practices for production ML systems(eg: Tensorboard, Datadog,Streamlit)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitbucket pipelines, TeamCity)
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and ML services (e.g., SageMaker, Vertex AI, MLflow, Kubeflow) and automation solutions (terraform / ansible / others)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools and best practices for production ML systems
- Solid understanding of the ML model lifecycle, versioning, and reproducibility
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience with Linux systems
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a commitment to document findings
