About this role
We are looking for a Staff/Principal Linux Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Linux development, network driver creation, and performance optimization. In this hands-on, high-impact role, you will work directly in our TrustedServer Team to create and refine the core systems that drive ExpressVPN’s infrastructure. This role is ideal for a Linux expert with a record of notable contributions to the kernel or other relevant communities and a history of published research in the field.
What you’ll be Do:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain TrustedServer collaboratively with the team, ensuring this foundational technology continues to serve as the secure backbone of our global services.
- Lead advanced Linux development projects and maintain active contributions to the Linux and relevant communities, with a focus on optimizing network drivers and enhancing system performance.
- Create and maintain dedicated environments and labs to rigorously test and optimize system performance; analyze results and implement improvements that increase system speed, resilience, and scalability.
- Network Driver Development: Develop and refine custom network drivers tailored to the high-demand needs of our digital privacy and performance solutions.
- Write clear, comprehensive technical designs and test plans, ensuring complex infrastructure projects are heavily de-risked and cleanly architected.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum of 7 years in Linux infrastructure and Linux development, with documented contributions to kernel or relevant repositories.
- Demonstrated experience in network driver development, performance testing frameworks, and significant contributions to the Linux and relevant communities.
- Deep expertise in C++/Rust programming, Linux kernel architecture, and network protocols.
- Advanced capabilities in performance tuning and development of testing frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on, proactive approach to systems architecture and performance optimization.
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to have:
- History of published research in systems performance, networking, or kernel architecture.
- Expertise in computer security, cryptography, secure coding practices, or public key infrastructure.
- Familiarity with modern VPN protocols, including WireGuard or our own open-source protocol, Lightway.

Introduction
We are seeking a Senior Staff / Principal AI Engineer to take a key technical leadership role in the design and development of OKX’s in-house Fake ID and document security system.
This is a high-impact, highly technical, and business-critical role. You will lead the 0→1 development of advanced AI models and systems that go beyond traditional vendor capabilities, with a strong focus on physical fake ID detection, document tampering detection, generative attack defense, and cross-user risk intelligence.
You will collaborate closely with Risk, Compliance, Product, and Infrastructure teams to deploy these capabilities into real-money, high-risk production environments, directly supporting OKX’s core business and security objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of OKX’s in-house Fake ID and document security platform, with a focus on adversarial and batch-based fraud scenarios
- Develop and deploy computer vision models for physical fake ID detection, document tampering identification, and AIGC-generated forgery detection
- Enable cross-user and template-level analysis to identify large-scale and industrialized fraud patterns
- Integrate document intelligence with biometric signals and user risk profiles to support critical risk decisions across key business workflows
- Drive applied research in document security and multimodal AI, and mentor engineers to ensure high-quality, production-grade AI systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong focus on computer vision, deep learning, and multimodal AI
- 8+ years of hands-on experience building AI/ML systems in areas such as computer vision, multimodal learning, vision-LLM, or generative image/video modeling
- Strong proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and OpenCV
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and system-level thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in fast-paced technology companies or startup environments
- Background in identity verification, KYC/KYB, fraud detection, or biometric security
- Prior experience with document OCR, ID parsing, forgery detection, or media forensics

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an AI Infrastructure Engineer to design and build the foundational systems that power next-generation AI agents. This role sits at the intersection of research and production engineering, focusing on scalable long-term memory, knowledge graph infrastructure, and robust context management systems.
You will transform cutting-edge research concepts (e.g., Context Graphs, GraphRAG, agent memory architectures) into auditable, maintainable, and production-grade infrastructure that enables reliable, stateful AI systems.
What You’ll Be Doing

Architect and implement long-term memory infrastructure for AI agents, including auditable, versioned, and rollback-capable middleware that supports persistent, stateful reasoning.
- Design and own end-to-end GraphRAG and knowledge graph pipelines, from ingestion and schema design to graph indexing, retrieval optimization, and integration with LLM-based reasoning systems.
- Build scalable context management infrastructure, elevating context from prompt-level techniques to structured, maintainable systems such as Context Graphs that enable long-horizon and cross-session reasoning.
- Translate advanced agent research into production-grade systems, prototyping emerging architectures and establishing best practices for memory, retrieval, and infrastructure reliability.
- Ensure reliability, observability, and governance of agent infrastructure, including traceable memory operations, evaluation frameworks, and safeguards against drift and degradation.
What We Look For In You

Lead the design, development, and lifecycle management of autonomous AI agents tailored to crypto exchange operations (e.g., customer assistant, trading bots, risk detection agents, fraud prevention agents, etc.).

We're looking for a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to help shape the next phase of our platform — influencing architecture, driving best practices, and solving high-leverage problems. You’ll work alongside researchers and technologists to design the systems that power experimentation, training, and deployment of ML models — and help set the direction for how machine learning is done at IMC as we scale. Your Core Responsibilities:
- Design and build end-to-end infrastructure for training, evaluation, and productionization of ML models, working closely with our HPC engineers who manage our on-prem compute cluster
- Influence foundational choices around data access, compute orchestration, experiment tracking, model versioning, and deployment pipelines
- Partner with quant researchers to accelerate iteration cycles, tighten feedback loops, and bring models from prototype to live trading
- Work with researchers to adapt and deploy modern architectures — transformers, state-space models, temporal convolutions, graph neural networks — to noisy, high-frequency financial data. Explore techniques like self-supervised pretraining, representation learning, and cross-sectional modelling where they offer genuine edge
- Shape our approach to reproducibility, continual learning, and production monitoring across a petabyte-scale data environment
- Define standards that create consistency across teams and geographies; mentor engineers and influence technical culture beyond your immediate work
- Keep pace with developments in deep learning research and ML infrastructure; bring ideas from academia and industry into how we work — whether that's new architectures, training techniques, or tooling
Your Skills and Experience:
- 8+ years of experience building ML platforms or infrastructure at a leading tech company, research lab, or quantitative firm
- A track record of designing and owning large-scale training and inference systems — not just contributing, but architecting
- Deep proficiency in Python, with strong experience in either CUDA or C++
- Hands-on expertise with modern deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX) and practical experience implementing architectures like transformers, attention mechanisms, or sequence models
- Strong foundation in deep learning fundamentals: optimization, regularization, loss design, and the trade-offs that matter when training at scale
- Experience with distributed training at scale (Horovod, NCCL) and GPU optimization (cuDNN, TensorRT)
- History of deploying models to production with strong observability, reproducibility, and monitoring practices
- Comfort working across the ML stack from data pipelines to training infrastructure to serving systems
