About the team
Post acquisition, the BBPOS team is now an extension of the Stripe Terminal team. Stripe Terminal helps Stripe users extend their online presence into the physical world. Who you are
We are seeking a GSM with extensive experience in managing the sourcing and supply management of components modules and devices. This role involves identifying reliable manufacturers and suppliers, negotiating contracts, monitoring market trends, and optimizing the supply chain to ensure the availability of high-quality components while minimizing costs. This person will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, quality control, and production planning.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for components or assembly, considering factors such as quality, reliability, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering effective communication and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise.
- Collaborate with production planning teams to align component supply with production schedules avoiding shortage.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and market dynamics related to components used in the organization's products.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential cost savings, alternative suppliers, or new component sources that meet quality standards.
- Analyze market conditions and anticipate potential disruptions or supply chain risks, proactively developing contingency plans to mitigate such risks.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that components meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures related to component sourcing and procurement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies in all component-related activities.
- Work closely with product development teams to identify component requirements for new products and support the selection of suitable components.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to evaluate component specifications and assist in value engineering initiatives.
- Provide support to the production team during component-related issues, shortages, or quality concerns, facilitating prompt resolution.
Qualifications of a Strong Candidate
- Degree holder in Supply Chain Management / BBA or related disciplines
- At least 5 years related procurement experience
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or components sourcing, preferably in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Candidates should possess comprehensive knowledge of mobile device electronics, IoT application processors modules, battery systems, and liquid crystal display modules
- Familiarity with market dynamics and trends related to components and commodities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, conduct market research, and make informed decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Fluent in English and Chinese

Identify and address security vulnerabilities in code, systems, and networks using manual review, automated tools, and threat modeling.

Manage and optimize application security tools, processes, and alerts.

Validate and respond to Bug Bounty submissions.

Stay informed on the latest offensive security techniques, application security threats, and best practices, and suggest improvements to enhance our security posture.

3+ years of experience in offensive security techniques.

In-depth understanding of security risks, vulnerabilities, and concepts in web and mobile applications.

Proficient in code review, particularly with Kotlin/Swift/Typescript/JavaScript, with a strong grasp of application security threats.

Ability to create proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to demonstrate vulnerabilities, review patch code for adherence to standards, and collaborate with repository owners and maintainers.

Prior experience in developing mobile security SDKs with a daily active user base of over ten million is preferred.

Participated in large-scale business risk control projects, or have practical experience in threat intelligence/business risk prevention, and analysis/countermeasures against black and gray industries.

In-depth reverse engineering of major apps from first-tier vendors, or other experiences/projects that demonstrate reverse engineering capabilities.

Priority given to candidates who can simultaneously master relevant technologies on multiple platforms.

Proficient in ARM assembly, capable of deep-level countermeasures at the native and application layers.

Have certain capabilities in device fingerprint recognition, able to simulate new devices through methods such as flashing, modification, and application cloning.
