As a senior engineer on the team, you will be intimately involved in architecture decisions that shape this product. You live and breathe cloud services that require high availability and fast, consistent performance.
You operate in an AI-first engineering environment, where you leverage advanced AI systems to inform design decisions, accelerate development, and improve system reliability. You are expected to drive adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices across teams, ensuring scalable and efficient development workflows.
You will work closely with product managers and designers to ensure we are building the right solution for our customers, while also mentoring engineers on both system design and AI-first development practices.
Work Location: This role is based out of our Ho Chi Minh City office and follows a hybrid schedule: onsite Tuesday through Friday and remote on Mondays, unless an approved accommodation applies. We place a high value on in-person collaboration and building a strong in-office culture.

Today, public safety officers spend up to 40% of their time on the job filling out paperwork. Not only is this tedious for officers, but the never-ending pile of paperwork reduces the amount of time they can spend out in the field, protecting their communities. That's why we're building Axon Records — a cloud-native web platform that cuts down on paperwork so that officers can spend more time prioritizing the safety of their communities.
As a Sr. Fullstack Engineer on the IRS Vietnam team, you will own features across the entire stack — from React-based UI to GraphQL APIs and Go microservices — and contribute directly to expanding Axon Records to international law enforcement agencies in the US, Australia, and the UK. You will help shape how the platform handles complex, country-specific reporting requirements at scale.

Digital Evidence Management Systems are key to officer efficiency and Axon’s mobile applications, View and Capture, play critical roles in evidence acquisition. Axon View interacts with body-worn cameras to display live camera streams, or to view and tag previously-collected evidence. Axon Capture collects digital evidence (photos, videos, audio) and uploads to evidence.com for later processing.
As a iOS engineer on our team, you will be a key part of our next generation of mobile applications. You’ll ensure our codebases interact with platform SDKs related to photos, videos, audio, file management, networking, WiFi and bluetooth. You’ll write code that interacts with custom-made devices, such as Axon Body-Worn Cameras. You’ll ensure our codebase is performant and meets the highest data privacy standards.

As a senior engineer on the team, you will be intimately involved in the architecture decisions that will shape this product. You live and breathe cloud services that require high availability and fast, consistent performance. Your impact
You are a Staff Software Engineer with experience building large-scale software applications. You will collaborate with other staff and senior engineers to shape and drive the technical direction for the organization and products. Your strong system design skills will aid you in taking a holistic approach to ensuring our products are bulletproof and fault-tolerant, while meeting demanding interactivity and responsiveness requirements. Your customer-obsession leads you to join forces with product and design to imagine and deliver innovative solutions to key customer problems.
Working closely with senior engineers across teams to review their designs and steer them toward more reliable and sustainable outcomes makes you a force multiplier for your team and the teams around you. You are a great collaborator and coach, and will mentor our next set of engineering leaders. You foster a friendly, open, inward-looking culture that encourages everyone to speak their mind and avoid red tape, unnecessary rituals, bureaucracy and politics. As a senior technical contributor, you have a passion for technology, and keep abreast of the latest trends, frameworks, and tools.
