The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a highly capable Operations Associate, to join the European Operations team and support the expansion of Flexport into Poland. Spend the first 4-6 months embedded in our DACH HQ in Hamburg to master the Flexport operating processes, systems and software and support our growth in Poland by driving operational quality and best in class customer service.

The role of the Operations team is a critical part of making Flexport’s mission to make global trade easy for everyone a reality. Flexport Global Operations raises the bar by using data to manage our customer’s supply chains and identifies opportunities to improve fidelity in planning, responsiveness and overall execution.

As a Operations Associate you will be responsible for setting-up and executing the end-to-end movement of shipments within a regional network. On a day-to-day basis you will coordinate multimodal supply chain operations within your region. This role will focus on driving a first in class customer experience by obsessing over quality and on time performance.

This role is ideal for an individual with a strong problem solving mindset, customer obsession, and together with deep operational knowledge of the Polish freight market, is not afraid to take on a challenge. You will:

• Be the “front line” in ensuring the highest standard of Flexport quality: shipments move on-time and exceptions are handled appropriately. In addition, supporting your team in mid to high escalations, high complexity movements, delicate communication, and other tactical touch points.
• You will also support the manager in guiding the team to improve and deliver great performance, including data quality and shipment milestone timeliness; at the same time ensure your work satisfies internal KPIs and SLAs that demonstrate quality delivery.
• You will follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and support in building scalable operational infrastructure and procedures to ensure the delivery of the highest levels of efficiency and productivity for your customers. You will continuously look for opportunities to improve them and take action on the improvements.
• You will personally represent Flexport’s value proposition by leading business implementation and shipment execution for new clients and opportunities.
• You will act as the primary point of contact for internal and external escalations, making sure to solve client issues quickly and ensure smooth operations at origin/destination and escalate issues as needed. You will always be acting in the best interest of the company by avoiding leakages and ensuring cost conscious behavior.

Overall, your team will:

• Seamlessly coordinate day-to-day logistics operations with internal and external partners such as steamship lines, intermodal and drayage vendors, customs, trade lane management, warehousing, transloading, and trucking.
• Execute the end-to-end movement of freight shipments within a regional network (both imports and exports), including intermodal movements.
• Assist the shipments managed by partners as we drive partner autonomy (if applicable in a given region).

You have: 

• A successfully completed a BA/BS degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or high-level vocational qualification equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics / supply chain, and/or ocean freight operations (multimodal operations experience is a plus) in Poland.
• Knowledge and understanding of local Port / Terminal software systems 
• Fluent in English and Polish (other European languages are a plus)
• Able to adapt to new technology and can thrive in a fast paced environment
• Effective time management. Be able to properly prioritize and manage a large volume of tasks and commitments 
• Hands-on, process-oriented, structured thinking with strong problem-solving capabilities 
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Offers and Checkout team. Our mission is to empower loan customers through effortless and transparent digital services that are trustworthy and self-serve. We strive to provide a seamless experience from deciding for a loan to formalizing the checkout process, ensuring our customers feel confident and in control every step of the way. We are organized in a cross-functional team with FE, FS, BE, QA and Design roles working closely with our Product Owner and stakeholders.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Own and deliver complex end-to-end features for our Offers, Checkout, and Customer Area domains, using React and TypeScript in the frontend and Node.js (TypeScript) in the backend.
• Act as a driving force for Automation and AI-driven UX development, using your expertise to identify, test, and implement AI to improve our development velocity and testing quality.
• Build and maintain stable, scalable services in a data-intensive, distributed AWS environment utilizing Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, and event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and UX Designers to build high-conversion customer journeys, prioritizing a seamless, trustworthy self-serve experience.

Join us as a (Senior) Quality Specialist (all genders) in our Passenger Interaction team and help shape the future of autonomous mobility!

Join our Passenger Interaction team as a (Senior) Quality Specialist, ensuring the quality and reliability of the Human Machine Interface (HMI) that riders interact with during their autonomous vehicle journeys.  

As a (Senior) Quality Specialist, you’ll work on the in-vehicle passenger experience — from welcome screens and check-in flows to safety checks, navigation displays, and emergency communication systems. 

Our HMI is an Android-based application running on embedded displays inside autonomous vehicles, providing passengers with essential ride information and safety features. As the team’s quality advocate, you’ll help ensure our riders have a seamless, intuitive experience throughout their journey. 

What you will do

• Champion quality across HMI features including check-in flows, safety checks, map views, buckling verification, and SOS functionality. 
• Develop and execute tests across multiple environments (SiL, HiL, ViL) and vehicle platforms. 
• Drive shift-left practices — be involved early in epic planning and feature definition, not just at the testing phase. 
• Own the quality definition for HMI — establish what “quality” means for passenger-facing Android applications with a strong UX focus. 
• Validate user experience — ensure the HMI is intuitive, responsive, and accessible for all passengers. 
• Build test automation and integrate it into CI/CD pipelines for faster feedback loops. 
• Master testbench environments and enable the team to run HMI software independently. 
• Perform defect analysis and root-cause investigation, especially for UX issues and edge cases. 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, system engineers, designers, and product managers — breaking QA out of silos. 
• Coach the team on testing best practices and facilitate continuous improvement. 
• Ensure traceability between requirements and tests, maintaining transparency on quality and risk. 

What will help you to fulfill your role 

Technical Skills

• Extensive experience in quality assurance/testing with embedded systems and mobile applications (we are building with Flutter framework for Android Automotive). 
• Proven experience with distributed systems spanning embedded devices and backend services, preferably with AWS. 
• Experience with Flutter and/or Android development/testing tools and frameworks. 
• Understanding of UX principles and ability to identify usability issues 
• Familiarity with ALM tools (e.g. Polarion) for requirements management 
• Experience with test automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and CI/CD integration 
• Experience with testbench environments (HiL, ViL) and AI assisted development are valued. 
• Awareness of automotive standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262) is a plus. 

Soft Skills

• Proactive, quality-driven mindset with a strong focus on improving user experience. 
• Detail-oriented, especially in ensuring UI/UX consistency and polish. 
• Effective communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders and the ability to coach teams to level up, not just finding bugs.
