You’ll be working in the Care-Customer Resolution Squad dealing with escalated complaints,  as part of the wider OneCare team at OVO Energy where our key focus is to place the customer at the heart of everything we do. You’ll be an integral part of delivering an award winning service we can be proud of, by fixing any problems in order to provide a resolution to our customers.

This role in a nutshell:

As a Customer Resolution Specialist, your role will involve investigating and responding to customer complaints by identifying root causes and managing the customer’s expectations through to resolution. You’ll be responsible for rebuilding a customer’s trust in OVO again, by using your in-depth knowledge to correct any issues for our customers.

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for people who are able to build a good rapport with customers and colleagues and are willing to go above and beyond to keep our customers happy. You’ll also be confident in working within a regulated environment and providing feedback to senior management, particularly on anything blocking the resolution of a complaint.

Your key outcomes will be:

• Providing a tailored service to each customer either over the phone, through email or via letter
• Using your expertise to provide a resolution for our customers
• Ensuring that complaint cases follow OVO’s processes and procedures
• Working towards targets focussing on resolving customer complaints swiftly whilst protecting OVO’s brand
• Flagging any potential issues to management or departments inside OVO
• Managing and prioritising your own workload to ensure that we deliver excellence in resolution consistently

This role in a nutshell:

As a Zero Carbon Living Advisor, your role is to provide consistently outstanding service to OVO’s customers across the entire customer lifecycle; this will include some of OVO’s most vulnerable customers. Role Overview
You will play a pivotal role in helping shape our clients' technology programmes, from designing innovative digital products and services to enterprise-grade platforms leveraging emerging technology. You will lead solution design in pursuit of business vision, working hands-on with engineering teams to translate strategy into reality. You'll also influence broader technology direction through advising on architectural strategy, pattern and standard definition, and promoting effective governance.

You'll create customer-centric solutions while guiding small, impactful teams through complex technical challenges in agile delivery. Finally, you will also contribute to our Technology and Engineering Practice by mentoring junior architects, fostering knowledge sharing across our technical community, and driving commercial value at Capco through delivery excellence and active participation in business development initiatives.

This role will sit in our Scotland office, with a need to potentially work in either Edinburgh or Glasgow depending on client expectations.

Required Experience
To succeed in this role, you should have proven experience in:

• Designing scalable, resilient solution architectures that align with enterprise strategies and business outcomes.
• Working across legacy and modern environments, including at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Deploying modern architecture patterns including microservices, APIs, events, sagas, containerisation, and serverless.
• Experience within at least one core Financial Services domain: Capital Markets, Retail Banking, Payments, Insurance or Wealth & Asset Management.
• Translating business requirements into clear, implementable technical designs through personal leadership and working closely with engineering teams.
• Building trusted relationships with senior leadership and influencing key decisions.
• Operating within agile delivery models and modern delivery practices (e.g. SAFe and DevOps).
• Applying recognised architecture frameworks, methods, or techniques (e.g. TOGAF, Domain-Driven Design, or NIST) in a pragmatic way.

While not mandatory, experience in the following areas is beneficial:

• Consulting or client-facing delivery experience in complex environments.
• Supporting pre-sales, proposals, or bid activities alongside senior leaders.
• Designing greenfield or cloud-first solutions within enterprise-scale organisations.
• Contributing to the development or maturation of architecture practices or communities.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies, including AI solutions.
• Certification in relevant frameworks, methodology, or technology (e.g. TOGAF, or AWS).
