Position Summary

You will work on systems where performance, correctness, and uptime are fundamental - not afterthoughts.You write clean, efficient C# and Go, take pride in the quality and reliability of your work, and are comfortable owning complex backend problems from design through production. You have a strong instinct for identifying risk before it becomes an incident, and you bring the kind of engineering discipline that high-stakes, real-time financial systems demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and platform infrastructure in C# and Go, with a focus on performance, reliability, and correctness.
• Own backend components end-to-end - from architecture and implementation through testing, deployment, and on-call support.
• Proactively identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and reliability risks before they become production incidents.
• Collaborate with the platform tech lead and other engineers on system design, code reviews, and cross-team integration work.
• Contribute to frontend development in React, particularly around platform integrations and internal tooling.
• Write and maintain comprehensive tests, documentation, and runbooks to support operational excellence.
• Participate actively in on-call rotation - owning issues through to resolution and contributing to post-incident reviews.

Qualifications

Required

• Strong C# development skills - solid understanding of the .NET ecosystem, async/await patterns, and performance optimization with modern C# idioms (.NET 6+).
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining backend or platform systems in production environments.
• Experience with low-latency or high-throughput systems, particularly in financial, trading, or data-intensive domains.
• Strong understanding of databases including schema design, query optimization, and transactional integrity (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).
• Experience with RESTful API design, WebSockets, and asynchronous/event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and modern DevOps tooling.
• Frontend awareness - comfortable working across the stack, reviewing or contributing to React-based frontend work.
