We're looking for a Senior Strategic Talent Partner (Fixed-term, Parental Leave through May 2027) to join our People team in Helsinki. You can also work fully remotely from Finland.
About the Role We're looking for a Senior Strategic Talent Partner who operates as a high-stakes consultant, not a traditional recruiter. Your core mission is to protect and elevate our Talent Density during a critical phase of evolution. We are currently transforming our workflows and tools to suit a highly automated, tech-forward model, which means you won't be spending most of your days on manual sourcing or managing calendar invites. Instead, your focus will be entirely on high-leverage work: calibrating the hiring bar with business leaders, architecting closing strategies for rare talent, and ensuring your strategic, human interventions add 10x value to our evolving processes.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to stick to a mindset of manual task completion. You will actively steward our transition into systemic talent management, serving as the crucial human anchor in an automated pipeline. In this role, you will…
- Act as a consultative talent partner — using market and performance data to define hiring standards, not just fulfill requests
- Lead executive-level calibration sessions with business leaders, backed by Talent Intelligence data (LinkedIn Talent Insights, HiBob, CrossChq)
- Own high-stakes closing: the candidate relationship, negotiation, and experience at the final stages of the hiring process
- Bridge Talent Operations and Hiring Managers when automation snags arise — diagnosing root causes, not just symptoms
- Own interview scorecard integrity in Greenhouse, updating structure and logic when data signals a gap
- Deliver personalized, on-brand candidate outreach that makes every interaction intentional and human
Your day-to-day work and responsibilities include…
- Auditing the top of the funnel and automated screening stages, monitoring rejected candidates to ensure new tools are calibrated correctly
- Running high-bar calibration sessions equipped with a Talent Intelligence Brief — challenging assumptions and resetting role profiles where needed
- Engaging the elite tier of candidates surfaced by our sourcing systems — selling the vision, team, and mission
- Analyzing Quality of Hire data with Talent Ops and feeding insights back into Greenhouse scorecard logic
This position is for you if you have…
- Significant experience leading in-house recruiting at a senior level, especially in B2B SaaS or innovative tech companies
- High proficiency with data — able to extract and present reports from systems like Greenhouse or CrossChq to inform stakeholder decisions
- The confidence to respectfully question senior leaders when hiring criteria appear misaligned or biased
- Experience working in or transitioning toward automated, systems-driven talent pipelines
- Deep, specialized knowledge in at least one vertical (GTM, Product & Engineering, etc.) within a global talent market
- A builder's mindset — you spot when a process or tool is misfiring and help fix it

The Technical Program Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data center projects, from design review through construction, commissioning, and operational handover. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
This position requires close coordination with multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), civil, IT infrastructure, security, and operations. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical and electrical expertise, hands-on experience with Tier III+ and hyperscale data centers, and proven leadership in complex project environments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Governance
- Lead the full project lifecycle including planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, energization, and handover.
- Develop and manage master schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Establish project governance, reporting cadence, executive dashboards, and portfolio-level reporting aligned with corporate PMO standards.
- Identify and manage project risks, maintain risk registers, and escalate critical issues.
- Ensure contractor compliance with contractual milestones, performance guarantees, and LD provisions.
- Support procurement strategy and evaluation of EPC / D&B / CM delivery models, including tender evaluations and contract award recommendations.
- Monitor CAPEX budgets, cost forecasts, funding requests, variance reporting, and progress payment certifications.
- Track procurement schedules and mitigate supply chain risks.
Engineering & Technical Oversight
- Review, approve, and coordinate technical designs across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, security, and IT infrastructure.
- Validate system redundancy (N+1, N+2, 2N, 2N+1), operational reliability, and maintainability requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, utility requirements, and international standards (Uptime Tier III/IV, NFPA, IEC, TIA, ISO).
- Coordinate with utility providers for grid interconnection, energization, and regulatory approvals.
- Oversee HV/MV infrastructure delivery, protection coordination, energization strategy, and power system studies (short circuit, load flow, arc flash).
- Manage vendor, contractor, and consultant performance to ensure adherence to technical specifications and project objectives.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead multi-disciplinary internal teams, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Act as the primary interface with clients, utility authorities, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure clear communication, alignment, and coordination across all parties.
- Mentor junior engineers and project staff, promoting knowledge transfer and operational excellence.
- Support the Director of Engineering in strategic planning and executive-level reporting.
Compliance, Quality & Safety
- Enforce engineering standards, corporate governance, and safety regulations.
- Review quality reports to validate installation quality and workmanship.
- Support environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives and ensure statutory and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Operations & Handover
- Ensure a smooth transition to operations, including as-built documentation, SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, and asset registers.
- Ensure operational readiness, uptime SLA compliance, and post-handover stabilization.
- Support training of O&M teams.
- Validate performance metrics including PUE, WUE, and system reliability KPIs.
Qualifications
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, engineering leadership, or similar preferred.
- Preferred certifications: PMP, CDCP, ATD (Accredited Tier Designer).
Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in data center construction, commissioning, or hyperscale infrastructure projects.
- Proven delivery of large-scale Tier III+ or hyperscale data centers (50 MW+).
- Experience with HV grid intake (100–400 kV) and campus-scale developments preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of critical data center systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, UPS, generators, fire suppression systems, and BMS/SCADA.
- Experience managing EPC / D&B contractors and complex stakeholder environments.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, IT infrastructure, and security systems.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
- Fluent in English. Finnish is preferable but not mandatory
- Willingness to travel to Vaasa
