About the Opportunity
You will report directly to the Head of Legal for the Americas. You will work closely with all members of the Global Legal team and business leaders throughout the company, but will concentrate on supporting Central and South American operations.
The right candidate will have a basic understanding of and enthusiastic belief in the cryptocurrency/digital asset space, 10+ years of experience working for a top law firm, regulatory agency, or in-house at a fast-paced, brand-name business, and possess strong academic credentials and excellent writing and analytical skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Lead all legal matters related to the operations of OKX's business in Central and South America (outside of Brazil), including assessing and securing any and all regulatory licenses needed in the region, in collaboration with the OKX Global Legal, Compliance, and Licensing teams.

Conduct legal research into laws and regulations related to cryptocurrency/digital assets. Evaluate the products and services offered by OKX with respect to those laws and provide legal advice on licensing and compliance requirements.

Advise on legal and regulatory aspects of the business's strategic initiatives in the U.S.

Draft and revise licensing maintenance/application materials and reports to regulators in collaboration with the Compliance and Licensing teams.

Communicate with federal and state regulators and other governmental bodies related to the company’s licensing efforts.

Collaborate with product and business development teams to achieve company-wide projects and goals.

Oversee corporate, litigation, and regulatory matters, and supervise outside counsel as needed, in collaboration with OKX global teams.

Manage additional legal requests from all areas of the business and effectively advise on legal concepts and legal risk with an eye towards the strategic goals of business leaders.
What We Look For In You
-
Active license and credential to practice law in country in Central or South America (outside of Brazil), with preference for Mexico.
-
10+ years of relevant regulatory licensing experience at a top-tier law firm, federal or state regulator, and/or in-house legal team, preferably in a financial services-related industry or other firmly-regulated space.

Experience with regulatory reporting obligations related to relevant licenses, e.g., call reports, virtual currency permissible investment reporting, license renewals, and regulatory exams.

Experience advising on cross-jurisdictional matters and developing relationships with international regulators, including in El Salvador.

Experience engaging with national regulators.

Experience managing teams (legal and cross-functional) and driving projects to completion on expedited timelines.

Must be highly-driven, proactive, responsive, and precise.

Experience making strategic recommendations to senior management and senior legal team members.

Enthusiastic about blockchain technology and have an understanding of the relevant legal/regulatory landscape.

Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, growth-stage and multi-cultural environment.

Ability to effectively advise and build trust with business teams.

Project management experience with superior organizational skills.

About the Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Sr. VIP Relationship Manager to join our LATAM Strategic Markets team.
As a Sr. VIP Relationship Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our base of VIP clients in LATAM. This role is focused on high net worth individuals, family offices and smaller corporate clients, driving our growth through partnerships and key client development in parallel to our institutional team, which on the other hand focuses on larger professional, enterprise and institutional clients.
What You'll Be Doing
- Primary goal: maximize revenue in the region through onboarding and retention of VIP clients
- Formulate an AUM strategy and revenue optimization based on the product offering of OKX
- Work closely with the local executive leadership team to contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company
- Lead our partnership work through identifying the right partners to work with plus executing any partnership negotiations
- Manage relationships with high net worth individuals and key clients, ensuring positive customer experience
- Build long lasting client relationships to obtain referrals and new sales channels - origination of new prospective clients
- Proactive account management, work with operations to inform clients of potential roadblocks - frozen accounts, EDD etc.
- Be a brand ambassador, ensuring customers are fully aware of the OKX value proposition.
What We Look For In You
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent years of experience)
- Fully bilingual in Spanish and English
- Proven experience in VIP business development within the crypto, private banking, finance or trading industry
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data to drive strategic decisions
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
- Goal-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets
- In-depth understanding of financial market dynamics and regulations in the LATAM region

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Overseas Operations Manager (P2P) to drive strategic growth and operational excellence across Latin America.
This role requires deep understanding of P2P market mechanics, merchant ecosystem dynamics, regional payment infrastructures, and competitive positioning. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating P2P markets at leading exchanges (e.g., Binance, Bybit, Bitget) and can independently formulate expansion strategies while delivering measurable growth outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion & Growth Strategy:

Develop and implement regional P2P expansion strategies across LATAM to ensure sustainable and stable business growth

Monitor regional regulatory developments and assess their impact on P2P business models
-
Continuously adjust market strategy based on competitive landscape and market shifts
P2P Merchant & Ecosystem Management:
-
Design and optimize advertiser (merchant) onboarding, segmentation, and incentive structures
-
Maintain close engagement with key merchants to ensure liquidity depth and spread competitiveness
-
Improve completion rate, trading efficiency, and dispute resolution performance
-
Develop structured management frameworks for regional merchant operations
Operational Optimization & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
-
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance P2P transaction workflows and feature design
-
Provide structured feedback on product gaps, user pain points, and regional behavioral differences
-
Improve end-to-end operational efficiency, including order flow, payment processing, and dispute handling
Data Monitoring & Competitive Intelligence:
-
Monitor core P2P KPIs (volume, active users, merchant depth, spreads, completion rate, dispute rate)
-
Conduct in-depth data analysis and anomaly detection to identify growth bottlenecks and risk patterns
-
Track competitor strategies (pricing, incentives, merchant policies, risk models) and propose strategic responses
Requirements

5+ years of experience in platform operations; crypto / Web3 experience strongly preferred
-
Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on P2P operations experience in overseas markets (outside Mainland China)

Experience at major exchanges

Strong understanding of:

P2P liquidity dynamics and spread formation

Regional payment systems (bank transfers, local e-wallets, alternative rails such as PIX, SPEI, Mercado Pago, and similar LATAM payment methods)

Proven ability to adapt operational strategy based on market and competitive changes

Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capability

Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills

Fluent in English + Spanish or Portuguese required (both are a strong plus)

Strong understanding of overseas P2P fraud patterns and payment risks, particularly in LATAM

Ability to independently articulate structural differences between regional P2P markets
