MongoDB Technical Services Engineers use their exceptional problem solving and customer service skills, along with their deep technical experience, to advise customers and to solve their complex MongoDB problems. Technical Service Engineers are experts in the entire MongoDB ecosystem - database server, drivers, cloud and infrastructure. This also includes services such as Atlas (database as a service), or Cloud Manager (which helps customers with automation, backup and monitoring of their MongoDB systems). Our engineers combine their MongoDB expertise with passion, initiative, teamwork and a great sense of humor to help our customers to be successful with MongoDB.
We are looking to speak to candidates who are interested in working out of our Dublin office under our in-office working model Monday to Friday for the first 3-6 months depending on ramping speed.
Once considered ramped, they will transition to a permanent (Tuesday to Saturday) 9am-6pm work week (with 3 in-office days) to provide weekend coverage alongside other peers. Saturdays and Sundays are considered fully online workdays and not an on-call shift.
Due to the 24/7 nature of our support organization, certain events throughout the year will require volunteering for coverage outside one’s normal work days or work hours (i.e. regional offsites, regional holidays, etc). These are typically announced weeks in advance with a sign-up system that considers equitability.
You'll be working alongside our largest customers, solving their complex challenges - resolving questions on architecture, performance, recovery, security, and everything in between. You'll be an expert resource on best practices in running MongoDB at scale, whatever that scale may be. You'll be an advocate for customers' needs - interfacing with our product management and development teams on their behalf. And you'll contribute to internal projects, including software development of support tools for performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics.

If you have an operations background, we prefer experience administering large-scale production environments, including hardware, operating systems (e.g. Linux, Windows), networks (including firewalls and load balancers), as well as cloud-based resources (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

They will have 5+ total years of experience through any combination of builder role (such as data scientist or developer), educator role (such as developer advocate or developer educator), or customer-facing role (such as solution architect).
You are an effective teacher who can explain complex topics in a simple and easy-to-understand way. You will also develop a strong understanding of MongoDB's core capabilities, data modeling, and emerging trends in our industry. You will guide users to discover the increasing capabilities of our platform including Vector Search and Voyage AI.
Though the expertise you bring will be unique, our team is built to work together to share knowledge and help each other grow. We are seeking a Technical Success Manager to own long-term client relationships with FastSpring's most technically sophisticated, high potential clients. These are businesses who have advanced technical, product or operational complexity and play a key strategic role in FastSpring's present and future success. This role will serve as the primary owner of these accounts, with ownership over both the technical and business elements of the relationship. FastSpring is looking for a candidate who can act as a hands-on technical partner, able to invest in fully understanding our customer's business and integration, and maintain highly engaged customer relationships.
This is a key role in a new team, complementing an existing Customer Success department. This position will also work closely with FastSpring's Customer Success Engineering team, and collaborate with them in their work with a broader range of managed clients.
Independent and proactive problem-solving is expected, with a high degree of organization, creativity and end-to-end responsibility. The candidate will work cross-departmentally, representing our customers in conversations with key internal departments such as Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, etc. The customers the Technical Success team work with have close relationships with FastSpring's leadership, and consequently the TSM role will work closely with executive level leadership.
This position reports to the Senior Manager of Technical Success and is based in Dublin, Ireland. The FastSpring Sales department has an office in Dublin, and while some time spent with that team is encouraged, remote working is allowed and there is no obligation to work on location. The candidate is expected to be able to occasionally travel onsite to client location, or to internal events internationally.

JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for someone who has strong technical skills and understands website structures, but also is able to view projects from the lense of the end user. This person will be able to work with Product Managers, Project Managers, UX, Design, Technical Architecture and Developer teams to drive forward solutions that will work for the website and other channels.

The role will also work across multiple programmes including the Website programme of work, the HSE Health App, HSE Notify program and manage the Forms Engine on behalf of HSE Digital. The HSE websites are built on Wagtail open source CMS.
