Your role
We're seeking an Accountant for our Finance team. You will be crucial in contributing to smooth month-end closing by assisting the team and preparing accurate, timely reports.
Drawing on your proficiency in supporting the company's financial engine, you will be responsible for helping implement and maintain controls to ensure accurate information within the system to create unique experiences only Tamara can provide.
With a proven track record of excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel), and ultimately revolutionize the way millions of users shop, pay, and bank.

Job Purpose:
This role requires an experienced professional who has worked in a similar capacity, ideally within a fast-paced environment. The position involves providing comprehensive financial, administrative, and accounting support to ensure accurate and error-free accounts receivable (AR) operations. The successful candidate must be able to effectively prioritize tasks and manage expectations in a high-pressure setting, while demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills and a keen eye for detail. In addition, the role demands the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, using initiative where appropriate. Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications (specific to the job)
The post-holder must be flexible, adaptable and quick to learn new routines. Attention to detail is paramount, as is the ability to work to strict time-scales and meet deadlines. Previous experience with multi-currency systems is essential with 10 to 15 years experience in a similar role. Be able to communicate in verbal and written English and Arabic concerning all business issues is a prerequisite. Qualified Accountant with knowledge of US GAAP or International GAAP is preferred. Proficient use of Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
