ABOUT THE JOB

As a site reliability engineer in Discovery, you will solve a wide variety of problems involving networking, autonomy, systems integration, robotics, and more, while making pragmatic engineering tradeoffs along the way. Your efforts will ensure that Anduril products seamlessly work together to achieve critical outcomes. 

You’ll work closely with software, data, and operations engineers to get systems into the hands of customers, deployed and supported on real infrastructure, with real users.

Above all, Site Reliability Engineers must be driven by a “Whatever It Takes” mindset—executing in an expedient, scalable, and pragmatic way while keeping the mission top-of-mind and making sound decisions to deliver successful outcomes on-time and with high quality.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Improve Anduril’s operational capabilities by improving our core product offering through root cause analysis and creating tooling capable of managing large scale deployments
• Drive continuous organizational improvement by leading post-mortem events involving diverse stakeholders
• Quickly diagnose and resolve system issues across cloud, robotics, and mesh networking architectures

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
• STEM degree or equivalent technical experience
• Technical expertise and demonstrated performance in one or more of the following areas: networking, cloud technologies, application development, hardware design, and/or cybersecurity
• Minimum of 5 years of operations and engineering experience
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases
• A desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact

Role Overview

The Procurement and Facilities Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support to the Procurement and Facilities Services function. This role supports the procurement team through day‑to‑day administrative activities, including credit card transaction processing, procurement database maintenance, reporting, and the purchasing of approved goods and services.

The position serves as the primary coordinator for daily facilities operations at the Washington DC office, acting as the on‑site office manager. The role ensures a safe, functional, and well‑organized workplace by overseeing office/building security coordination, office events and logistics, inventory and supplies, routine maintenance, vendor coordination, and staff safety‑related needs.

Reporting to the Director of Procurement and Facilities Services, the Procurement and Facilities Coordinator works closely with internal teams and external vendors to support efficient operations, compliance with organizational procedures, and a positive work environment for staff and visitors.

Department Accountabilities

Procurement 

The procurement department leads the implementation of policies, procedures and systems that support the organization’s procurement and management of goods and services.  Procures quality goods and services, at competitive prices while ensuring that the organization has the resources needed to succeed at a cost that maximizes value and a process that minimizes risk.  The department manages the procurement process which includes identifying needs, setting terms, selecting vendors, negotiating, and purchasing, delivering, and post-purchase assessment.  The department works together to ensure the procurement process is regulated and aligned with organizational objectives, goals, and budgets.

Facilities Management 

Oversee operations of the organization’s US facilities.  Conduct regular needs assessments, coordinate and implement planned and unplanned maintenance services and projects, and Manage oversight of the programming and operation of the mechanical, security, and life-safety system. Maintain building/county and state rules and regulations and respond to FDNY and DOH inspections for the NY office. 

Budgeting and Costing 

Establish and use financial plans to achieve organizational objectives, including monitoring and analyzing financial data to identify deviations from targets. 

Operations Management 

Execute and manage production or operations using predetermined protocols and procedures to achieve specified operational performance standards. 

Operational Compliance

Compensation

$67,350 to $101,025 annually; In alignment with MSF USA’s compensation framework, new hires are generally offered between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on relevant experience, skills, and internal equity.

Your Impact

The Embedded Technical Account Manager (TAM) will serve as Axon’s primary on-site representative. In this role, you will own the day-to-day relationship between Axon and the government, acting as the expert-in-residence on Axon’s Evidence.com platform and the full suite of Body Worn Camera (BWC), TASER, and video technology solutions. You will serve as the strategic bridge between federal government and internal Axon teams—ensuring the Axon platform operates with maximum reliability, security, and mission impact. What You’ll Do

• Design, document, and support implementation, operations, and maintenance of the Axon Evidence architecture to meet government’s Body Worn Camera (BWC) program requirements
• Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day user requests, incident resolution, and request fulfillment, meeting and exceeding defined SLA thresholds

Work Location & Requirements

Compensation

Salary Range: The U.S. based anticipated salary range for this opportunity is $158,500 - $180,000 plus benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salaries NPR expects to provide for new hires for the position across all US locations.

The Office of Performance Analysis and Integrity manages and enhances the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) which resides on one Oracle M8 Supercluster database and thirteen application servers. Our team provides the technical services required to sustain EDW applications to include Project Management, Data Warehouse Management, Advanced Analytics, Tableau Server Administration/Tableau Desktop Administration, Technical Collaboration Support, Lessons Learned, Executive Orders and Special Projects, Architectural Enhancement, and Cloud Migration. Responsibilities:

• Participate in planning and design sessions of Power BI reporting solutions, ensuring they are scalable, performant, secure, and meet stakeholder reporting requirements.
  Architect, design, and develop scalable, interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI that are intuitive and meet established UI/UX objectives.
• Design and implement Power BI data strategies and models that support complex reporting and analytics and ensures optimal performance and scalability.
• Design and develop Power Apps solutions that support enterprise data intake, workflow enablement, and integration with Oracle EDW reporting and analytics processes.

• Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively, minimizing load times, and enhancing user experience.
• Collaborate with business analysts, database administrators, and other VA stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver Power BI solutions that meet expectations.
• Develop test plans and conduct thorough testing of Power BI reports and dashboards. Document software defects, resolve, and re-test to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability.
• Draft training materials and documentation as required and assist Business Analysts to provide training and support to end users on the use of developed software products.  
  Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, ensuring timely delivery of Power BI development tasks.
• Solicit feedback from business stakeholders to gather UI/UX/CX insights of delivered Power BI reports, and document lessons-learned to inform future development efforts.
• Serve as a technical leader within the project team, mentoring junior developers, and providing guidance on best practices in software development, data integration, and system design.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in computer science or other technical disciplines (an additional 10 years of experience can substitute for a degree).

Role Overview:

Technical Operations Engineers sit at the intersection of technology and real-world mission environments. You’ll ensure CHAOS systems operate flawlessly in the field — integrating hardware and software, diagnosing complex system issues, and delivering rapid fixes and improvements.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, hands-on settings — comfortable with Linux terminals, network traces, and hardware wiring as much as Python scripts and dashboards. You’ll be embedded with customers, integrating CHAOS systems into existing infrastructure, and ensuring reliability under real-world conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate CHAOS software, sensors, and RF devices with customer systems — both physically (networking, power, and hardware bring-up) and via software interfaces (data pipelines, APIs).
• Debug complex edge issues spanning hardware, software, and networking layers.
• Develop scripts, diagnostics, and automation tools to improve reliability and observability.
• Capture operational feedback and collaborate with internal engineering teams to drive product improvements.
• Document system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and lessons learned for both internal and customer audiences.
• Travel (typically up to 50%) to customer and test sites for deployments, troubleshooting, and mission support.

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong technical foundation with a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Deep familiarity with Linux environments; comfortable with SSH, networking tools, and system-level debugging.
• Strong problem-solving instincts — able to work independently and under pressure in the field.
• Understanding of networking protocols, hardware interfaces, and distributed system concepts.
• Experience integrating or maintaining hardware or sensor systems.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Willingness and enthusiasm for travel and on-site technical work.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in systems integration, field engineering, or technical operations for complex deployments.
• Background in defense, aerospace, or other mission-critical environments.
• Familiarity with telemetry, data integration, or IoT-style architectures.
