What you’ll be doing

• Develop and implement global programs and processes, creating strategies that drive merchant sales growth, improve profitability, and reduce churn across +30 markets.
• Identify and scale best practices from different markets across the company.

JOB PURPOSE

The VP of Delivery, Creative & Media is responsible for overseeing end-to-end client delivery of creative and media projects across DEPT®. This role ensures the seamless delivery of high-quality, on-time, and on-budget work while fostering operational excellence, optimising processes, and leveraging technology to enhance performance and efficiency.

This position requires a deep understanding of agency operations, knowledge of at least one of creative and media delivery, and the ability to lead high-growth, cross-functional teams and bring confidence and expertise to client conversations. 

The VP will focus on orchestrating all our creative and media service line delivery, ensuring that quality and profitability targets are met and that client outputs are delivered to a high standard.  They will also focus on the key processes and interconnections that enable that delivery - delivery processes, project management, resource forecasting, workflow optimisation, risk management, and talent development in the delivery team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Take a strategic lead in the overall performance, profitability, and long-term business growth of our Paid Search discipline across EMEA
• Accelerate and drive the transition from traditional Paid Search management to AI-driven accounts.
• Be a key player in new business efforts, actively engaging in pitches, refining our sales narratives, and collaborating closely with our new business department to secure and expand our client base. 
• Establish the right organisational set-up of the Paid Search teams to ensure quality and performance across EMEA; 
• Drive adoption of the right tech and tooling, alongside ensuring we have a data-led approach across all accounts
• Coach and mentor our Paid Search Leads and empower every consultant to deliver high-impact, business-driven Paid Search projects.
• Make sure the Paid Search team has an innovative mindset and is a first mover in adopting new technology and advertising solutions. Recognized in the industry by winning awards;
• Oversee top Paid Search clients and drive innovation, project growth, and excellence in delivery.
• Spend at least 60% of time on projects or sales initiatives
• Enable and boost x-craft collaboration, bringing our Paid Search activities and offerings closer together with adjacent crafts, such as Content, Data, AI, Organic Search and Social.
• Ensure an agile development of our Paid Search proposition, aligning product-market fit and traction with the right target clients.
• Encourages knowledge sharing and best practices between teams within EMEA.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Have at least 10 years of experience in Paid Search.
• Are highly autonomous and proactive, demonstrating the ability to own complex projects and make significant decisions with minimal oversight.
• You have a deep curiosity for AI and machine learning. You don't just follow trends; you understand how to apply tools.
• Have a significant focus on business development, a successful track record with pitching, and client relationship management. You genuinely love the sales process.

• Financial Acumen: Experience in building complex agency proposals for media clients. You must be proficient in scoping new services, calculating resource-based pricing, and maintaining healthy margins.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Media Expertise: Deep experience managing media clients (Retail Media, Amazon, and Marketplaces preferred).
• Proven Track Record: A portfolio demonstrating successful management of accounts exceeding $5M+ in annual media spend, spanning full-funnel strategy and activation.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert use of Salesforce and PowerBI. Familiarity with Google Marketing Platform, Meta Business Suite, Amazon Advertising, Pacvue, or Amalytix is highly advantageous.
• Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence, expert-level negotiation skills, and the ability to translate complex technical jargon for C-suite stakeholders.

The opportunity 
You are a reliable driver of client work, with a developing strategic mindset. You own and run projects independently, leading defined multiple workstreams, transitioning from delivering projects to managing them alongside peers. You align stakeholders, shape clear decision paths, and keep scope, schedule, and quality in balance, connecting great work with commercial performance.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage multiple client projects, making decisions about approach, investment, and who we involve
• Develop and present recommendations to clients, shaping what we propose rather than just executing someone else's plan
• Identify where clients need more from us and bring growth opportunities to the business with a clear case for investment
• Run project delivery with rigour on scope, timeline, budget, and margins, managing through complexity and ambiguity
• Mentor and guide team members on your workstreams, setting standards and building their capability
• Work with senior team members to stress test thinking and refine your approach on bigger or newer challenges
• Lead cross-discipline partners to deliver at pace and quality, taking responsibility for outcomes
• Anticipate client needs and navigate conversations proactively so we stay ahead of problems
• Proactively meet with Discipline leads to understand new approach, ways of working or offers to integrate and support this growth
• You ensure the work is underpinned by the Thinking & Making philosophy and introduces elements of the Three Lenses
• Manage outcomes and pressure thoughtfully for you and the team, by staying pragmatic and positive

What we’re looking for

Experience - Track record of running multiple projects with strong commercial outcomes. Great client relationships with positive feedback.

Relationships - You build trust at senior client levels and across internal department leaders. You understand their business deeply enough to spot where we can add real value and push back when needed to support delivery management and the wellbeing of internal teams.

Curiosity - You see patterns across projects and clients. You connect what's happening in their world to opportunities for us to do meaningful work whether that’s within our agency or the broader Omnicom world. You think what’s best for the work and client to create Iconic Moves.

Commerciality - You think independently about what makes sense commercially. You weigh complexity, investment, and return, and you're confident making the case internally, knowing how to influence and negotiate.

Communication - You present with clarity and confidence. You articulate strategic thinking in ways that move people to action and decision because you also chair and facilitate the decision-making process.
