JOB PURPOSE

The VP of Delivery, Creative & Media is responsible for overseeing end-to-end client delivery of creative and media projects across DEPT®. This role ensures the seamless delivery of high-quality, on-time, and on-budget work while fostering operational excellence, optimising processes, and leveraging technology to enhance performance and efficiency.

This position requires a deep understanding of agency operations, knowledge of at least one of creative and media delivery, and the ability to lead high-growth, cross-functional teams and bring confidence and expertise to client conversations. 

The VP will focus on orchestrating all our creative and media service line delivery, ensuring that quality and profitability targets are met and that client outputs are delivered to a high standard.  They will also focus on the key processes and interconnections that enable that delivery - delivery processes, project management, resource forecasting, workflow optimisation, risk management, and talent development in the delivery team. 

They need to work collaboratively with Client Service, Creative, Media, Strategy, and Delivery teams to drive business impact and be at the heart of ensuring that those teams are connected to achieve this, creating an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Delivery Leadership

• Oversee all delivery to ensure appropriate end-to-end planning and execution of creative and media projects, ensuring structured, scalable, and high-quality delivery.
• Develop and refine project planning processes, ensuring that delivery teams are defining clear timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource needs.
• Ensure that scope and change control are being managed and that the teams are proactively adjusting project plans to balance profitability, client expectations, and operational efficiency.

Profitability & Budget Management

• Oversee project budgets, ensuring profitable delivery without compromising quality.
• Track and report on project financial performance, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.  Work in partnership with finance and operational excellence teams to monitor project burn and mitigate/address margin and overrun issues.
• Identify areas for cost control and operational efficiencies, ensuring long-term sustainability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Internal Alignment

• Work closely with senior leadership, Creative, Media, and Strategy teams to align delivery with client expectations and business objectives.

Creative & Media Agency Expertise

You will lead the charge in evolving our Search discipline in a rapidly evolving and disrupting ecosystem. You will lead a team of currently 50 across EMEA and give support by removing blockers and ensuring they have access to the right tools and knowledge. Your goal is to empower every consultant/lead, giving them the confidence to deliver high-quality projects and tasks.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Take a strategic lead in the overall performance, profitability, and long-term business growth of our Paid Search discipline across EMEA
• Accelerate and drive the transition from traditional Paid Search management to AI-driven accounts.
• Be a key player in new business efforts, actively engaging in pitches, refining our sales narratives, and collaborating closely with our new business department to secure and expand our client base. 
• Establish the right organisational set-up of the Paid Search teams to ensure quality and performance across EMEA; 
• Drive adoption of the right tech and tooling, alongside ensuring we have a data-led approach across all accounts
• Coach and mentor our Paid Search Leads and empower every consultant to deliver high-impact, business-driven Paid Search projects.
• Make sure the Paid Search team has an innovative mindset and is a first mover in adopting new technology and advertising solutions. Recognized in the industry by winning awards;
• Oversee top Paid Search clients and drive innovation, project growth, and excellence in delivery.
• Spend at least 60% of time on projects or sales initiatives
• Enable and boost x-craft collaboration, bringing our Paid Search activities and offerings closer together with adjacent crafts, such as Content, Data, AI, Organic Search and Social.
• Ensure an agile development of our Paid Search proposition, aligning product-market fit and traction with the right target clients.
• Encourages knowledge sharing and best practices between teams within EMEA.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Have at least 10 years of experience in Paid Search.
• Are highly autonomous and proactive, demonstrating the ability to own complex projects and make significant decisions with minimal oversight.
• You have a deep curiosity for AI and machine learning. You don't just follow trends; you understand how to apply tools.
• Have a significant focus on business development, a successful track record with pitching, and client relationship management. You genuinely love the sales process.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Media Expertise: Deep experience managing media clients (Retail Media, Amazon, and Marketplaces preferred).

HyperHeat is building electric high-temperature heating systems to replace fossil burners in the most demanding industrial processes, transforming an industry responsible for roughly 20% of global CO₂ emissions. We are at a point where it is about making hard technology work in real plants, under real economic constraints.

We are looking for a Business Analyst focussing on Market and Strategy to join our team in Cologne. The role operates close to the founders, with significant autonomy and direct exposure to customers, partners, and investors.

In this role, you will independently drive market and customer analysis, shape customer personas, and act as an early point of contact for inbound and outbound conversations. You will work hands on with our Techno Economic Analysis (TEA) model to turn complex technical and financial inputs into clear business cases, sales narratives, and decision ready material. Success is measured by insight quality, clarity created, and momentum generated, not by reports produced.

What you’ll be doing:

Within 1 month, you will:

• Build a deep understanding of HyperHeat’s technology, target industries, and priority applications
• Become fluent in our Techno Economic Analysis model and underlying assumptions
• Analyze existing customer conversations, pilots, and proposals to extract patterns and insights
• Independently prepare decision-ready analyses and materials for founder and customer discussions

Within 3 months, you will:

• Own market and application deep dives for selected target segments
• Define and refine customer personas, including buyers, technical stakeholders, and internal champions
• Act as a first point of contact for selected inbound and outbound customer conversations
• Build robust, customer specific business cases that stand up in front of industrial decision makers
• Create sales and investor materials that clearly communicate economic and strategic value

Within 6 months, you will:

• Be a trusted sparring partner to the founders on market prioritization, pricing logic, and go-to-market strategy
• Independently drive cross-functional projects such as application selection, partnership screening, or market entry hypotheses
• Anticipate customer questions and objections before they surface and prepare clear, data-backed answers
• Raise the overall commercial and analytical bar of the company through structure, clarity, and rigour
