The Role/Responsibilities:

• Work on GenAI, self-learning systems to solve complex eCommerce scenarios.
• Develop statistical models for predictive and compound AI Models
• Train foundational models that can help with building learning systems.
• Define process and experiments for an E2E foundation model.
• Build E2E AI pipelines for storing/servicing foundational models.
• Mentor and guide team members on frameworks, methodologies related to data lakes, data normalization, dimension reduction, visualization, statistical models.
• Ensure Model training is security, compliance aware.
• Collaborate with cross-team members to understand the requirements ensuring the foundational models, knowledge captured aligns with the company’s overall AI strategy.

What you will bring/ Requirements:

• Overall 10+ years of working in software engineering and AI/ML Engineering.
• 4+ years of demonstrated data science, experience in building large scale foundational models for eCommerce scenarios.
• Expertise in large language model fine-tuning and deployment.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML/Deep-learning and statistical model architecture.
• Strong statistical/mathematical background in defining metrics, learning functions and result analysis.
• Significant experience in SQL, Python, PySpark, Scala and R
• Proficiency in PyTorch/TensorFlow, Spark, BigQuery
• Experience in creating complex data visualization tools, frameworks and techniques.
• Experience in dimension reduction in big data.
• Proficient in cloud analytical stacks [ Lakes, warehouse, ETL pipelines]
• Experience with inference platforms in AWS, Azure and other open-source platforms.
• Are result-oriented, with a bias towards customer obsession, flexibility, and impact.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for Large language models, NLP, and Machine Learning at scale

Education: B.S, M.S in Computer science or Mathematics, or related field

Scopely is looking for a Senior/Staff Server Engineer to join an unannounced title based in our Shanghai office (5 days in the office).

What You Will Do 

We are looking for a Server Engineer to build the next generation of our games. You will work with a team of passionate engineers while developing core systems and features that power large-scale, real-time experiences for our game. You’ll work on complex technical challenges involving real-time interaction, large-scale systems, and a persistent shared world used by tens of millions of players.

What We’re Looking For 

• Experience in building, and maintaining scalable, production-grade distributed systems. Deep understanding of networked and distributed systems, cloud security best practices, and performance optimization. Familiarity with network protocols for real-time communication, such as gRPC and WebSocket.
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in one or more of Java, Go, C#, Python
• Familiar with Git, Bash and Gradle
• Professional proficiency in both Mandarin and English
• BS / MS in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent

Bonus Points 

• You have experience shipping at least one online game or app
• Experience in managing IaaS environments and deploying on cloud platforms such as Alibaba Cloud (Alicloud), AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proficiency with Kubernetes cluster management, infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
• Experience using data processing frameworks and data warehouse
• Experience using AI tools to speed up the development lifecycle and improve efficiency
• Experience leading a team: task breakdown& scoping, code reviews, mentoring junior devs, prototyping, etc. 
• Excellent verbal English communication

As a Robotics Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing advanced algorithms and systems to optimize the efficiency of our robotic fleet. Your work will be critical in ensuring seamless communication and operation within cutting-edge automation technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design multi-agent pathfinding (MAPF) algorithms to prevent fleet deadlocks.
• Build low-latency communication protocols for Robot-to-Cloud and Robot-to-Robot data exchange.
• Develop cloud dashboards for fleet monitoring and teleoperation handoffs.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in distributed systems and IoT protocols (MQTT, WebRTC, DDS).
• Experience with fleet management or warehouse automation software.
• Strong background in operations research and graph algorithms.
