We’re expanding our data engineering capabilities across Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and Peru, and we’re hiring a Senior Clinical Data Engineer to help build the foundation of this new regional function. In this role, you’ll lead the development and optimization of clinical data systems, drive data standardization, build validation frameworks, and design high‑performance databases and pipelines across global trials.
The Senior Clinical Data Engineer leads the strategic development and optimization of clinical data systems to support regulatory compliance, advanced analytics, and operational excellence across global trials.
This role drives enterprise-level data standardization initiatives, and architects scalable validation frameworks to proactively address systemic data issues. With deep expertise in Python, R, SQL, and SAS, the engineer builds and maintains modular codebases, sets coding standards, and mentors junior engineers. The role also oversees regulatory alignment with GCP and FDA 21 CFR Part 11, establishing robust documentation and audit trail protocols. Through dynamic dashboards and analytics tools, the engineer delivers actionable insights into trial performance and data quality. As a strategic liaison across Biostatistics, Clinical Operations, and Regulatory Affairs, the engineer translates clinical requirements into scalable technical solutions and leads the design of secure, high-performance databases and ETL pipelines integrating data from diverse clinical systems.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
Data Standardization & Mapping: Spearhead the development of enterprise-level data mapping strategies that transform raw clinical data into standardized formats for high-impact analytics. Lead the adoption and governance of data standards across programs to ensure regulatory alignment and consistency.
Data Quality Assurance: Design and implement robust, scalable validation frameworks that proactively detect and resolve systemic data issues. Serve as a strategic partner to Clinical Data Managers and cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement in data integrity across global trials
Programming & Scripting: Architect and maintain advanced, modular codebases using Python, R, SQL, and SAS to support complex data engineering workflows. Establish coding standards and mentor junior engineers in automation, reproducibility, and performance optimization. Example use cases includes edit checks, reconciliations, exception listings, programmed protocol deviations, resource projections based on site data entry volume
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation: Lead compliance initiatives to ensure all data systems and workflows meet GCP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and evolving global regulatory requirements. Define documentation protocols and oversee audit trail governance to support inspection readiness and transparency.
Reporting & Visualization - Develop and operationalize dynamic dashboards and analytics tools that provide real-time insights into data quality, trial progress, and operational KPIs. Translate complex datasets into actionable intelligence for clinical and regulatory stakeholders.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support: Act as a strategic liaison between Clinical Data Engineering and Biostatistics, Clinical Operations, and Regulatory Affairs. Translate clinical and scientific requirements into scalable technical solutions that support study execution and data delivery.
Database Design & Optimization: Lead the design and optimization of secure, high-performance relational databases and data lakes. Ensure infrastructure scalability, query efficiency, and data governance for large-scale clinical datasets.

The Role:
The Contract Salesforce (SFDC) Administrator is responsible for owning aspects of our SFDC instance related to our end-to-end sales, customer success and customer support journey. You will be responsible for optimizing our sales motions and internal customer experience by enhancing our tools, processes and data. You’ll design, configure, and deploy innovative solutions in our SFDC instance and other tools in our Sales tech stack to deliver a best-in-class sales and customer success experience for our teams. You’ll manage a portfolio of projects, sprint items, “hot fixes,” and day-to-day tasks that are critical to ensure business continuity and growth. You’ll also collaborate with our Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams on cross-functional initiatives to gather requirements, scope work, and execute on deliverables. You will serve as a functional owner of SFDC Sales and CPQ components, and work directly with business stakeholders, project managers, and analysts to understand business needs and transform those into functional and technical requirements which can be executed on. We will look to you as a trusted advisor in helping us maximize the benefits we derive from SFDC and our other Sales and Customer Success tools and help shape the evolution of our Sales tech stack.

About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Analyst- Comms who is best in class, with a high IQ and a high EQ. The Marketing Analyst - Comms, will sit at the intersection of data, CRM strategy, and AI-driven efficiency. We’re looking for an execution-oriented person who owns their work from end-to-end. You'll dive into the details of how our campaigns operate across email, push, SMS, and in-app channels, spot friction and inefficiency, and design smarter ways forward. You'll spend most of your time inside Braze, Sezzle's primary consumer-focused CRM and marketing automation platform, building and analyzing campaigns across email, push, SMS, and in-app channels. You'll dig into performance data to identify what's working, surface gaps in our consumer journeys, and develop new comms to fill them. You'll also look for every opportunity to apply AI tools to make the team's output faster, sharper, and more scalable.
This isn't a role where you wait for assignments. We want someone who can look at a set of data, identify the opportunity, and start building toward it then communicate what they found and why it matters to the team around them.
What You'll Do:
CRM Campaign Execution & Analysis
Build, launch, and iterate on campaigns and canvases in Braze across email, push, SMS, and in-app channels.
Audit existing consumer journeys to identify engagement gaps, drop-off points, and missed messaging opportunities.
Develop segmentation strategies and personalized comms that improve activation, engagement, and retention.
Support A/B test design, execution, and readout — translating results into clear, actionable recommendations.
Maintain performance dashboards and reporting frameworks that make campaign data interpretable for the broader marketing team.
Track KPIs including DAU, ARPDAU, LTV per user, open rates, click rates, and conversion, and surface insights tied to those metrics.
Effectively manage our marketing CRM tool to drive new and innovative use cases that can be shared across the team
Write SQL queries to investigate issues and campaign results using internal data
AI, Automation & Process Optimization
Identify opportunities to apply AI tools and automation across marketing workflows from copy generation to campaign QA to performance analysis.
Build and iterate on tools, templates, and agents that reduce manual effort and improve output consistency.
Stay current on emerging AI/automation capabilities and bring concrete recommendations for how they can be applied within Sezzle's marketing stack.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with marketing, product, data, and engineering teams to align on tooling decisions and ensure smooth implementation.
Serve as a connector between technical teams and marketing stakeholders, translating requirements in both directions.
Facilitate adoption of new tools and workflows by developing documentation, training materials, and hands-on support for team members.
Identify and flag integration risks early; bring concrete mitigation recommendations.

Hands-on experience building or implementing AI tools, agents, and automation in a professional setting.

Experience in consumer marketing operations, CRM platforms (Braze or similar), or marketing technology stacks; Braze experience is a plus.
Ability to identify process inefficiencies and develop structured, scalable solutions.

Educational & Professional Experience
Background in computer science, analytics, engineering, AI, and/or related fields.
Exposure to business, marketing, finance, or other related fields
Previous internships or academic projects involving campaign management, marketing analytics, and content creation preferred.
Professional, academic or personal projects that demonstrate an ability to creatively use AI to create efficiencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building AI-first platforms or internal products from scratch, including early architectural decisions.
Strong foundation in core machine learning and data science principles, including supervised/unsupervised learning, feature engineering, model evaluation, and statistical inference.
Experience with transformer architectures (BERT, GPT, etc.) and understanding of attention mechanisms, tokenization, and fine-tuning strategies for domain-specific applications.
Experience developing AI-assisted or agentic systems that interact with tools, data, or workflows.
Familiarity with embeddings and vector representations, including text embeddings, similarity search, and integration with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, or similar).
Experience with NLP techniques including text classification, named entity recognition, semantic search, and information extraction.
Familiarity with cloud-native development using AWS.
Understanding of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and LLM application patterns.
Experience with containerized systems and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows (e.g., GitLab).
Experience with Golang is a plus (or willingness to learn).
Experience with Braze or similar consumer facing CRM platforms and/or various B2C digital marketing channels like affiliate, CTV, paid social, paid search, GEO/SEO, DSP.
