About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Solution Lead to join our high-performing Pre-Sales & Solution Strategy team. You will sit at the intersection of Sales, Delivery, Product, and Client Leadership, shaping the solutions we take to market and directly influencing multi-million-dollar outcomes.

This is not a “respond to the RFP and pray” role. This is a strategic, high-ownership, high-IQ seat where you:

• Shape the problem,
• Design the solution, and
• Influence how we win and deliver.

You will focus exclusively on large, complex opportunities valued at $1M+, where your problem-framing, technical depth, and storytelling materially impact win rates.

You will report to the Head of Pre-Sales & Solution Strategy and collaborate with a senior, globally distributed team across India, the US, and Europe.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Own

1. Deal Shaping & Pre-Sales Architecture

• Translate ambiguous client goals into clear, compelling, technically credible solution architectures (Figma/Miro/Adobe)
• Lead discovery workshops, ask incisive questions, and define what a winning solution looks like—for the client and for us.
• Build decks, narratives, and pricing models that position us decisively above competitors. (Google/PP/Canva)
• Navigate seamlessly between C-level outcomes (business case, ROI, risk) and engineering deep dives (architecture, delivery approach, tradeoffs).
• Own the solution narrative end-to-end across EOI/RFI/RFP responses, orals, and executive briefings.
• Solution Estimating: Provide high level pricing estimates tied to value impact statements (ROI) for clients including software, hardware, cloud and tooling licensing for POC/MVP/Commercial models
  
  

2. Cross-Domain Solution Engineering

Own the solution across the full delivery lifecycle, spanning:

• Applications – modernization, greenfield engineering, platforms, integration
• Infrastructure – cloud infra, DevOps, SRE, infra automation
• Security – controls, IAM, governance, secure-by-design patterns
• Cloud – AWS / Azure / GCP architectures, migration strategies, optimization / FinOps
• Tooling- AI models, ISV licenses, tokens etc

You bring technical breadth with depth in at least one practice area and can credibly orchestrate end-to-end solutions.

A practical understanding of how AI cuts across these domains is essential, including:

• agentic automation across workflows and operations
• private AI stacks (RAG, governance, observability)
• model-integrated applications and copilots that augment existing systems

3. Go-To-Market & Productized Offerings

• Turn our capabilities into clear, differentiated, repeatable solutions and offerings.
• Collaborate with Product, Delivery, and Marketing to evolve our GTM playbooks and sales assets.
• Package reference architectures, POVs, and standard patterns based on real market demand.
• Capture learnings from deals and delivery to refine offerings and win themes.

4. Internal Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner closely with Sales on deal strategy, qualification, and pursuit plans.
• Align with Delivery Leaders to ensure proposed solutions are buildable, profitable, and differentiated.
• Contribute to sales enablement via reusable messaging, templates, and pricing frameworks.
• Act as a thought leader and mentor for junior solution engineers and architects.

About You

The essentials:

• Hands-on understanding of services delivery, including SDLC, cloud migrations, modernization, architecture patterns, and infra operations
• Experience designing or positioning solutions with AI integration, agent workflows, automation, or model-enhanced apps (copilots, RAG systems, intelligent workflows)
• Ability to build defensible pricing models (T&M, fixed-price, managed services, outcome-based)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; experienced presenting to senior stakeholders

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of miniaturized sensing systems for wearable and implantable medical devices. This person will play a critical role in translating early-stage prototypes into robust, manufacturable products by driving the mechanical design of housings, connectors, enclosures, microdevice assemblies, and packaging solutions.

Compensation

The Chicago, IL base pay range for a new hire in this role is $130,000 - $137,700. New hires are typically hired into the lower portion of the range, enabling employee growth in the range over time. Actual placement in range is based on job-related skills and experience, as evaluated throughout the interview process.

This position may be eligible to participate in our discretionary annual performance bonus program. Bonus eligibility and targets are determined in accordance with our total rewards philosophy and may vary by role.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Field Service Engineer – RUPS Systems will specialize in rotary UPS power system distribution builds, mechanical and generator integration, system integration, start-ups, and preventative maintenance programs. This role requires advanced technical expertise, mechanical aptitude, leadership skills, and hands-on field experience with both electrical control systems and rotating equipment such as generators and flywheels. Strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to delivering high-performance power solutions in data centers, hospitals, industrial facilities, and utility-scale environments are essential.

This is not a typical UPS engineer or technician role. In fact, a strong background in traditional static UPS systems may not be advantageous for this position. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience with mechanical systems, generators, and rotary equipment, and be comfortable commissioning complex power systems in the field. You will act as the front-line expert for bringing large-scale RUPS systems online, resolving technical issues, and training others. This role will also provide technical software and hardware troubleshooting support to the IEM customer base on-site throughout North America while performing start-ups, retrofits, or preventative maintenance. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional IEM teams to integrate current and new technologies, commission complex generator and RUPS systems, optimize existing power infrastructure, and ensure seamless operation across our power products as defined by the customer's RUPS design and sequence of operations (SOO). This role will serve as the point of contact for all field service personnel related to RUPS startup, generator support, preventative maintenance, 24-hour emergency response, and remote technical assistance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and perform on-site startup, commissioning, and preventative maintenance of RUPS systems, including generator integration, flywheel validation, and facility electrical infrastructure.
• Perform functional testing, load bank testing, system synchronization, and complete system validation to ensure all components meet performance specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues related to generators, flywheels, switchgear, control systems, fuel systems, and coupling assemblies.

• Follows a scientific step-by-step process to troubleshoot equipment issues. Captures data and troubleshooting steps concisely and accurately to facilitate effective communication to internal and external parties.
• Works directly with 3^rd party equipment vendors and customers to help resolve re-occurring issues with vendor equipment within IEM’s integrated RUPS systems.
• Perform functional tests, load tests, synchronization, and RUPS system validation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues related to generators, flywheels, switchgear and related control systems.
• Interface with clients, contractors and internal IEM teams during commissioning and acceptance testing.
• Ensure all startup and commissioning documentation, test reports, onsite daily reports and required customer records are completed, submitted accurately and on time.
• Provide technical support and guidance during new installations and system upgrades.
• Train Field Service junior technicians on proper startup, commissioning procedures, troubleshooting protocols, preventative maintenance and how to operate the equipment safely. 
• Maintain compliance with all industry and company safety standards, company procedures and client specific safety protocols. 
• Communicate with Product Engineering and Design Teams with regards to important product bulletins that would affect service, software upgrades, product upgrades or maintenance factors.
• Travel to customer sites to lead commissioning activities with junior techs/engineers or complete commissioning independently.
• As required, travel to the manufacturing or field service offices of IEM to participate in or lead training exercises, and to participate in factory witness/shop testing.
• Assists with project start-up and resolving punch list items found at the jobsite.  Work with the customer site superintendents or project managers to update punch lists and ensure jobs are closed out correctly.
• Provide detailed field trip reports that list the issues found onsite to the IEM manufacturing facilities regarding whether quality control standards are upheld to project design criteria and product specifications.   Works with production, service and engineering teams to help resolve any deficiencies that are found.
• Work with the Field Service Leads in scheduling additional field resources and/or teams to cover service needs.
• Proven ability to manage complex power distribution projects, obtains great technical aptitude and has good communication skills. 
• Performs other duties as required by supervisor.

Power System Integration:

• Lead and support field integration of new RUPS and generator technologies with existing infrastructure, ensuring system compatibility and optimal performance.

System Optimization:

•  Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability and scalability of existing power systems on customer sites.  

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Proficiency in Power/automation programming languages and ladder logic (IEC, Python, Java, SQL, HTML)
• Strong hands-on experience with rotating equipment, diesel generator systems, and mechanical diagnostics.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting, including relay testing, load bank setup, and flywheel system commissioning.
• Experience with load bank testing, grounding systems and protective relay testing.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
• Proficiency with diagnostic and testing tools - (oscilloscopes, megohmmeters, etc.)
• Experience and proficient with industrial power system controls and monitoring technologies.

Position Overview

The Product Quality Engineer supports the Manufacturing, Quality and R&D Organizations using robust analytical test methods to enable the characterization and quality control testing of existing and new materials. This individual will work closely with multiple functional groups to meet business needs. Responsibilities

About the role:

As Controls & Automation Engineer, you will own advanced technical support and the long-term reliability of deployed robotic systems. You will operate at the intersection of troubleshooting, system optimization, and product improvement, ensuring automation systems perform consistently in demanding production environments.

This role blends reactive support with proactive engineering. You will diagnose complex failures, implement structured improvements, and partner cross-functionally to strengthen system stability across the fleet. Your work will directly impact system uptime, performance consistency, and long-term customer success.

In this role you will:

• Diagnose and resolve complex automation failures to minimize production downtime
• Design and implement preventative and predictive strategies that improve system reliability
• Lead system-level continuous improvement initiatives, including hardware and software upgrades

About Role

As  an Supply Chain  Solutions Engineer at Loop, you will play a pivotal role in creating our data science organization. You’ll work cross-functionally to design and build the tools and reports that power our customer supply chains  such as  predictive analytics, center of gravity, network optimization, modal optimization, and much more. The Automation Engineering Team is responsible for delivering robotics-driven automation deployments across a wide range of customer applications. The team partners cross-functionally to translate customer requirements into deployed systems, ensuring solutions are integrated, commissioned, and validated to perform reliably in real manufacturing environments. In this role, you will serve as the primary pre-sales technical and applications partner for Formic’s prospective customers. You will build credibility through strong production knowledge, technical fluency, and consultative problem-solving. You will quickly develop a deep understanding of a customer’s production goals, constraints, and success criteria, then translate those inputs into scoped automation solutions that align operational needs with Formic’s product capabilities.

You will also partner cross-functionally to ensure clean handoffs from pre-sales to deployment and ongoing support, helping ensure the solutions you design translate into successful customer outcomes.

• Partner with prospective customers and Sales to understand production challenges, operational constraints, and automation requirements
• Lead technical discovery and requirements gathering to inform solution design
