The position reports to the Customer Service Operations Manager 

Your responsibilities will include:

Purpose of the Role

• Lead a high-performing, customer-obsessed team to deliver world-class support across channels, driving CSAT/NPS, First Contact Resolution (FCR), and resolution time while reducing recontact and backlog
• Coach and develop Team Leaders to raise quality, productivity, and engagement; coach the coaches.
• Own operational excellence, incident management, and continuous improvement to remove root causes across consumer, courier/driver, and merchant journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Team Leaders through weekly one-on-ones, performance reviews, and development plans.
• Set clear goals and standards; recognise top performance; manage underperformance with structured performance improvement plans.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, certification, cross-skilling, and succession; ensure HR compliance such as leave and attendance.

Customer Experience & Quality

• Own the quality framework including QA rubric, calibration cadence, evaluation targets, coaching standards, and action plans.
• Set and manage channel standards for FCR, SLAs, backlog, recontact rate, complaint rate, and social response and resolution.
• Ensure Team Leaders conduct regular monitoring across calls, chats, and emails, and provide feedback, coaching, and reporting.

Process Improvement & Voice of Customer (VoC)

• Run a continuous improvement pipeline by identifying key drivers of contact, defect leakage, and customer effort, and prioritising solutions.
• Translate insights into product and process improvements and track measurable impact such as contact reduction and CSAT improvement.
• Standardise SOPs across teams to ensure clarity and consistency in execution.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner with Operations, Logistics, Merchant/Restaurant Operations, Courier/Driver Operations, Product, Risk/Fraud, Finance, Legal, and Communications to improve end-to-end journeys.
• Represent Customer Service in business reviews, align on priorities, and advocate for customer-focused decisions.

Tools, Data & Reporting

• Govern the operational use of CRM, ticketing systems, telephony platforms, QA tools, workforce management systems, knowledge bases, and reporting tools.
• Define metrics and dashboards; ensure accurate and timely reporting by Team Leaders with clear action plans.
• Promote data-driven decision-making and analytical capability within teams.

Compliance, Risk & Safety

• Ensure adherence to company policies, data privacy regulations, and audit requirements.
• Govern the safe handling of sensitive and payment data; escalate incidents according to protocol.
• Establish service recovery and compensation guidelines and partner with Risk teams to prevent fraud and abuse.

Governance & Communication

• Maintain a structured operating cadence including daily stand-ups, weekly operational reviews, monthly business reviews, QA calibrations, and training sessions.
• Communicate priorities, updates, and performance outcomes clearly, maintaining documentation and change logs.

Purpose of the role: Responsible for the project management of automation and mechanisation projects within the Distribution Centres (DC’s) in the Takealot and TFS network, with reporting responsibility to the Head: Infrastructure and Automation

The function of the role is to evaluate technology, execute the planning, designing and implementation of new systems and automated infrastructure improvements in the DC’s from start to completion, inclusive of hand over to the operational team and

The role is required to, on an ongoing basis, evaluate existing processes and infrastructure to ensure that maximum efficiency is extracted through improvement projects. The role manages project expenditures against budget allocation for

specific projects, under the guidance of the Head: Strategy and

Infrastructure.

Key responsibilities: (What are you directly responsible to achieve within the scope of your role)

• Designing and implementing mechanisation infrastructure to either support the business growth or bring optimization to an existing process
• Procurement of equipment to support operations and processes
• Ability to draft request for proposal (RFP) documents
• Analyzing and implementing new automation within the distribution center operations, under the guidance of the Head: Strategy and Infrastructure
• Management and control of costs for specific projects
• Build viability study for new projects, that proves ROI based on elements that will be improved or affected by the project implementation
• Supplier engagement and management in accordance with contractually agreed terms
• Stakeholder engagement with Operational staff

Minimum Required Qualification:

• Bachelors Degree / B-Tech Engineering qualification – Mechatronic, Electrical or Mechanical
• Previous experience in a project space in Distribution Centres, production environment or warehousing on a large scale with complex operations
• 3-5 years Automation experience

Purpose of the role:

The Head: Public Policy is the technical architect and custodian of Takealot Group’s policy positions. The role exists to ensure that, for every material legislative or regulatory threat or opportunity, the Group maintains a Defensible Strategic Narrative—one that is legally sound, economically credible, and commercially aligned.

This role translates complex and evolving regulatory frameworks into clear, proactive policy positions that protect and advance the Group’s long-term operating model across eCommerce, logistics, and platform businesses. It is both deeply technical and strategically influential, underpinning Takealot’s external advocacy with intellectual rigor and internal coherence.

Strategic Accountabilities

Policy Design & Thought Leadership

Serve as the Group’s primary authority on public policy and regulatory interpretation across the South African market.

Design and maintain Group-wide policy frameworks for high-impact regulatory areas, including but not limited to:

• Platform work and labour regulation.
• Competition and platform regulation.
• Develop policy positions that balance legal defensibility, economic impact, and reputational considerations, ensuring consistency across all public-facing engagements.
• Act as the internal lead on policy interpretation where legal ambiguity or regulatory discretion exists.

Submission Leadership & Regulatory Engagement

Draft and quality-assure all material formal submissions, including:

• Government Gazette notices
• Parliamentary Portfolio Committee submissions
• Regulatory consultation papers
• Market inquiries and statutory investigations (e.g. Competition Commission)

Ensure submissions are:

• Technically precise and clause-specific
• Supported by evidence, precedent, and economic reasoning
• Framed to resonate with policymakers’ stated objectives

Maintain a central submissions calendar and ensure 100% compliance with statutory timelines.

Technical Advocacy Enablement

Produce comprehensive Technical Briefing Packs to support external engagement led by the Head of Stakeholder Relations.

• Each pack must include:
• Clause-by-clause legislative analysis
• Identification of unintended consequences and enforcement risks
• Clear “red lines” versus negotiable positions
• Proposed alternative wording that is legally viable and politically realistic

Translate highly technical regulatory detail into decision-ready insights for Exco and Board consumption.

Cross-Functional Regulatory Governance

Co-ordinate the monthly Internal Regulatory Workgroup, bringing together:

• Legal
• Risk & Compliance
• Business Unit CEOs (Takealot.com, Mr D, Takealot Financial Services)

Ensure:

• Policy positions are aligned with current and future commercial roadmaps
• No contradiction exists between advocacy positions and operational practices
• Regulatory risk is identified early and escalated appropriately

Act as the bridge between policy theory and business reality, resolving tension where necessary.

Strategic Foresight & Risk Anticipation

Produce a quarterly Regulatory Horizon Report identifying:

• Emerging legislative and regulatory risks (12–24 months out).
• Early signals from government, regulators, and political economy trends.
• Potential impact scenarios across Group businesses.
• Develop and execute a Group-wide stakeholder engagement strategy aligned to long-term business and societal outcomes.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with priority stakeholders across public, private, and civil society sectors.
• Lead Takealot Group's stakeholder engagement to contribute to modern, balanced policy and forward regulation for the digital economy.
• Design and manage multi-stakeholder partnerships and coalitions that support inclusive growth, innovation, and responsible platform business.
• Drive thought leadership and stakeholder education initiatives that deepen understanding of digital commerce, logistics, and the future of work.
• Maintain a forward-looking political and regulatory radar, producing scenarios and strategies that strengthen business preparedness.
• Advise internal leadership on external developments and their strategic implications.
• Build scalable engagement systems and mentor a high-performing stakeholder relations capability.

Minimum Required Qualification:

• A relevant Honors degree (Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Economics, International Relations, Business, or similar).
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous.

Minimum Required Experience:

• LLB (required) 
• Master’s degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field (strongly preferred)
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in public policy, regulatory affairs, or legal practice
• Exposure to Big Tech, Fintech, platform businesses, or top-tier law firms highly advantageous
• Demonstrated experience engaging with South African legislative and regulatory institutions.

This position reports to the Group Head of Corporate Affairs

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and execute a Group-wide stakeholder engagement strategy aligned to long-term business and societal outcomes.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with priority stakeholders across public, private, and civil society sectors.
• Lead Takealot Group's stakeholder engagement to contribute to modern, balanced policy and forward regulation for the digital economy.
• Design and manage multi-stakeholder partnerships and coalitions that support inclusive growth, innovation, and responsible platform business.
• Drive thought leadership and stakeholder education initiatives that deepen understanding of digital commerce, logistics, and the future of work.
• Maintain a forward-looking political and regulatory radar, producing scenarios and strategies that strengthen business preparedness.
• Advise internal leadership on external developments and their strategic implications.
• Build scalable engagement systems and mentor a high-performing stakeholder relations capability.

Qualification & Experience:

• A relevant Honors degree (Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Economics, International Relations, Business, or similar). Postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
• 10+ years’ senior experience in public affairs, stakeholder relations, government/regulatory engagement, advocacy, or related fields.
• 5 years of which in senior management.

As a Software Engineer, you will be someone whose expertise directly translates into the development of robust software in the e-commerce domain. You will be from a computer science background with an emphasis on software development. • 3 to 5 years experience in a software development role for an intermediate-level position

The Purpose of the role:

Responsible for driving the growth, retention, and optimization of TFS's  e-commerce logistics ecosystem across South Africa's landscape. This role encompasses the management of Business Development, Client Onboarding, Account Management, and Service Portfolio and Solutions teams. Additionally, the role involves developing innovative logistics programs and frameworks to strengthen seller and client relationships, expand TFS's presence across industry verticals and geographic boundaries, and align the fulfilment solutions team with evolving supply chain needs and market demands.

Your responsibilities can include:

Strategic Team Building and Development:

• Establish and build the Business Development, Client Onboarding, Account Management, and Service Portfolio & Solutions functions from the ground up.
• Recruit, structure, and provide foundational leadership to create a high-performing multidisciplinary team aligned with TFS's e-commerce logistics ecosystem strategy.
• Design and implement comprehensive training frameworks to develop logistics solutions expertise and establish best practices for the evolving team structure.

Market Entry and Logistics Expansion:

• Identify and secure foundational partnerships with prominent retailers, brands, and e-commerce businesses seeking end-to-end logistics solutions. 
• Research and establish entry strategies for emerging market segments through strategic 3PL partnerships and new service development.
• Explore and build pathways for TFS's international logistics expansion through cross-border e-commerce and freight forwarding opportunities.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Framework Development:

• Create and implement foundational strategies for client acquisition, growth, and retention through innovative fulfilment solutions and operational excellence frameworks.
• Establish customer-centric programs and processes that will form the foundation for long-term logistics partnerships and service portfolio expansion.

Service Portfolio Development and Revenue Framework Creation:

• Build the Service Portfolio & Solutions function to optimize logistics offerings and establish delivery capabilities aligned with market demand and client needs.
• Develop initial revenue optimization strategies and frameworks for tailored logistics solutions, pricing models, and value-added services.

Cross-Functional Partnership Establishment

• Establish productive working relationships with TFS internal teams to create end-to-end client and end- customer experience frameworks.
• Create communication protocols and liaison processes between logistics clients and internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence from launch.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business Administration, or similar field. Advanced degrees are advantageous.
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in e-commerce, logistics management, or related fields, with at least 3 years in senior leadership roles. (Focus on commercial management of business partners)

About the Role

The Business Development Lead will own Paystack’s Business Development and Account Management function in South Africa, with a primary focus on driving enterprise growth.

This is a senior leadership role. You will be the specialised subject matter expert for enterprise revenue in South Africa. 

You will set the commercial strategy, build and lead a high‑performing team, and personally guide our most strategic opportunities and customer relationships. You will navigate complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles, translate Paystack’s evolving strategy into clear priorities for your function, and ensure that South African enterprises see Paystack as a trusted advisor, not just a vendor.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Lead the SA BD & Account Management function
  Define the strategy, operating model, and targets for winning, growing, and retaining South Africa’s most important customers. Translate company strategy into clear, actionable priorities and metrics for your team.
  
  
• Build and lead a high‑performing team
  Hire, develop, and manage BD and Account Management managers and their teams. Set expectations, coach through complex deals, and create a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  
  
• Own enterprise pipeline and forecast
  Devise annual plans with clear segment, territory, and vertical focus. Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast multiple quarters ahead, consistently hitting targets and earning trusted‑advisor status with customers and leadership.
• Guide complex deal and account strategy
  Support managers on high‑stakes opportunities: multi‑product, multi‑stakeholder, and multi‑year deals. Help teams manage the sales cycle artfully, understanding which levers to pull to move deals forward while protecting Paystack’s long‑term interests.
  
  
• Drive executive‑level customer engagement
  Build and maintain relationships with C‑level executives (CFO, CTO, COO, CEO) at key accounts. Understand their business drivers deeply, shape mutually beneficial deal structures, and ensure Paystack is seen as a strategic partner.
  
  
• Champion product & technical excellence in the field
  Maintain strong product and technical fluency (APIs, integrations, payments architecture) and ensure your team does the same. Use this knowledge to articulate customer requirements internally and to co‑create solutions with Product and Engineering.
  
  
• Lead cross‑functional execution
  Frequently lead cross‑functional groups (Product, Engineering, Risk, Support, Legal, Finance) through difficult decisions and trade‑offs to unlock customer value, while upholding Paystack’s risk and compliance standards.

• 10+ years in enterprise business development, sales, or strategic account management, with at least 4+ years leading managers and teams in high‑growth B2B environments (fintech, payments, SaaS, or financial services strongly preferred).
• Proven track record of owning a regional or segment P&L or revenue target and consistently meeting or exceeding aggressive goals.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, multi‑stakeholder enterprise deals and account strategies in South Africa; comfortable operating at C‑suite level.
• Strong understanding of South Africa’s payments and digital commerce landscape, or the ability to ramp quickly on local market dynamics, regulation, and competitive environment.
• High technical and product fluency - able to understand APIs, integrations, and payments architecture, and to translate between business and technical stakeholders.
• Evidence of building scalable sales systems: territory design, quota setting, forecasting, CRM discipline, and sales playbooks.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to frame trade‑offs and decisions clearly for both internal and external audiences.
• Deep alignment with Paystack’s mission and values, and a track record of leading teams in a way that reflects those values in day‑to‑day decisions.

• Direct experience with payment gateways, merchant acquiring, or developer‑focused fintech products.
