Your role
Dialpad is seeking a talented and experienced Software Full-Stack Engineer passionate about building high-quality, scalable web applications using modern frontend & backend technologies to build the next generation of our omnichannel Contact Center products. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong desire to deliver high-quality, high-performance, scalable frontend or backend infrastructure and features, and is willing to make an impact while contributing to a cross-functional team.

As an experienced backend software engineer, you drive software delivery & operational excellence by turning well-defined business objectives into software systems. You will have a significant impact on organization-wide output.

What you’ll do 

• Develop and maintain Dialpad's web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
• Provide estimates on technical resources and requirements necessary to plan and begin projects.
• Take responsibility for executing projects in the omnichannel contact center communications space. Assist and drive, as needed, to ensure the team meets its delivery milestones.
• Develop well-tested features with appropriate test hooks, resulting in low defect reports and faster engineering throughput.
• Review technical designs to ensure features/products are well-integrated and fully meet business needs.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and other team activities to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing features, as needed.
• Stay up to date with the latest backend platform technologies and best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and tools.
• Ensure features are shipped on time and to the highest quality standards.
• Continue contributing to fun projects meant to delight users!

Skills you’ll bring

• 5+ years of strong experience in full-stack software engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Leverage AI Tools (Claude / Windsurf / Gemini) for development.
• Strong experience working with HTML/CSS, Vue.js, Typescript, Python, Java.
• Strong experience working with Cloud Technologies [Google Cloud Platform is a plus] and distributed technologies.
• Working knowledge of unit test and integration test frameworks.
• Good understanding of web technologies, RESTful APIs, and web application frameworks.
• Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent them.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with highly agile and iterative development processes.
• Our Tech Stacks: Python backend on Google Cloud Platform (AppEngine, Datastore, BigQuery, Dataflow, Memcache, Cloud Tasks, Pub/Sub), Vue.js/Vuex frontend running natively in Electron, Java backend with RESTful interfaces, Postgres, Redis, Couchbase, Kafka, PHP, and web application containers like Tomcat.

Your role
At Dialpad, web engineering and design aren't separate disciplines — they're the same team. Our unified Design Organization brings together product designers, brand designers, and engineers who all build. We write code, ship products, and use AI as a core part of how we work, not as an afterthought.

As a Sr. Web Engineer on the Marketing Web team, you'll contribute to the full surface area: the marketing website, the internal tooling that powers it, and — critically — the AI-powered automations and integrations that connect Dialpad's marketing presence to the teams that maintain it. You will identify opportunities, prototype quickly, and ship to production. There is no handoff culture here.

This role sits at the intersection of marketing engineering, AI automation, and experience design. You'll work directly with designers, marketers, brand leads, and product teams to create a seamless, connected customer journey — from the first visit to a marketing page through to the Dialpad product itself. You'll be expected to bring your own ideas, take ownership, and build things that matter.

What You'll Do

• Identify and define automation opportunities across the marketing website, content workflows, QA pipelines, and the broader customer journey.
• Build prototypes quickly to validate ideas, then take them to production — you own the full arc from idea to shipped.
• Design and implement agentic workflows and internal AI tools that reduce manual overhead and unlock capabilities for the entire organization.
• Integrate AI tooling into real publishing, deployment, and personalization workflows — not demos, actual production systems.
• Stay on the cutting edge of AI tooling: you know what's new, you've tested it, and you have a strong point of view on what's worth adopting.
• Contribute meaningfully to the codebase — writing features, fixing bugs, and reviewing PRs with depth.
• Build and maintain components, pages, and templates that reflect Dialpad's design system and brand standards with consistency and precision.
• Own performance, accessibility, and AEO/SEO at a technical level — you diagnose proactively; you don't wait for reports.
• Maintain and improve the internal publishing platform and tooling that the team depends on every day.
• Partner with the unified Design Organization to create a seamless experience from marketing touchpoints through to the Dialpad product.
• Build integrations that bridge the gap between marketing, sales, and product — personalization, sign-up flows, onboarding hooks, attribution, and beyond.
• Collaborate with designers, brand leads, marketers, and product engineers as a peer contributor — you speak their language and earn trust through craft.
• Surface opportunities to make the Dialpad product experience better through what you learn from the marketing surface.
• Set and uphold frontend standards for code quality, accessibility, and performance across the marketing web stack.
• Help define how AI-assisted development is done on this team — effective prompting, code review rigor for AI output, and knowing when to push back.
• Be a multiplier: when you learn something, you share it; when you build something reusable, you document it.
• Evaluate new tools and frameworks with a critical eye — adoption is earned, not assumed.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of frontend or full-stack web engineering experience, with meaningful time on marketing or growth web surfaces.
• Active, daily use of AI coding tools — Claude Code, Windsurf, or equivalent — with a concrete point of view on how to get real value out of them and when they fall short.
• Demonstrated experience building AI-powered automations or internal tooling that shipped to production.
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue or React, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with headless CMS platforms, static site generators, or component-driven marketing stacks.
• A high-ownership builder mindset — you identify problems, propose solutions, and drive them to completion without waiting to be directed.
• Strong communication skills: you work well with designers and non-engineers, and you translate technical constraints into clear decisions.

What You’ll Do

You will be working for some of the biggest brands and companies in the world. We’re growing very quickly so the pace is fast, but you will be working alongside other very smart colleagues with brand new technologies, in a fun, collaborative environment, and growth opportunities are numerous.

In our stack we have php, mongodb, orientedb, redis, docker, javascript / typescript, node.js, and vue.js among others. We have a complete stack for functional testing, from unit to E2E and also for non-functional, specially for performance. We welcome the use of new tools/languages that help us improve.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Lead the cultural evolution in the Software Engineering team through the use of best practices to ensure product success, like test automation, monitoring, product specifications, pipelines configuration, testing strategy, etc.
• Develop metrics and reports to proactively identify potential quality risks.
• Proactively research emerging technologies and solutions to enhance quality. Implement continuous self-training and knowledge sharing with software engineers on new quality practices and tools.
• Understand in depth the customer's needs, observe behaviors in order to identify usage patterns to improve the quality assurance processes.
• Document the design patterns/best practices for the automation framework.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests.
• Be responsible for the development pipeline in terms of quality on CI.

Skills Required:

• Vast (4+ years) experience automation testing web applications.
• Experience developing using automation frameworks in Node/JS, ideally WebdriverIO but other options like NightwatchJS, Puppeteer, Cypress.io, etc., are acceptable.
• Experience using Page Objects, UI maps, etc (widely accepted design patterns for Selenium).
• Experience implementing jobs with GitlabCI, and optionally Jenkins.
• Experience in unit testing.
• Utilizes AI tools to enhance coding speed and integrates with other tools using MCPs.
• Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira, Testrails, etc.
• Experience analyzing software quality using data and implementing metrics and dashboards, ideally using Databricks.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Fluent oral and written Spanish skills.
• Oral and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities
